Antony being bought for 80+ million was the shocking part, like who thought that would be a good idea? Anyone who watched him play, even on his ajax years, would know that dude is just a clown and that is why he didn't look like he was a serious player who can do fine at premier league. As far as I saw about Arsenal in this friendly match, they did use their young players and their game was quite slick although not too good, they showed the results of their training led by Arteta against Bournemouth.

How could a manager not be involved in the transfer window? while the one who makes the strategy and determines the squad is the manager himself.
