Big win for Chelsea after the international break as they crush down forest at Nottingham, in the first half I thought this is a game chelsea would live because they started very poorly and were making mistakes all over the field but they bounced back In the second half and scored 3 good goals.

Academy boy Josh Achempong scored his first for the club and Pedro Neto scored the second in less than 3 minutes then few minutes before the 90 James scored and made it 0-3.

This win was a much needed one for Chelsea, they need to build on that momentum before the break and they did that now they play Ajax at home in the champions league.

Chelsea did really well today to beat Nottingham Forest and not lose any more ground on the leaders.

But now the Premier League race is getting very interesting. Manchester City won and moved into second place, but we still have to wait for the results from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Ajax will by now get trembled as they prepare to face Chelsea in the champions league. There performance is no in any way short of great one, they played it as they should and got the victory that is deserving to them. Nottingham Forest of last season are not in any way close to what they are this season, so there was no reason for them not to have won this match with a good number of goals. I expect them to continue like this in the coming games also and also replicate the same to the champions league competition which is also very important for them to prevail in every game to book their spot for the next round of the competition.

I don’t think there is any reason for Ajax to tremble, it’s a game of football and any team can play to win, and I don’t think there is any guarantee that Chelsea is going to win Ajax they will have to play the game, and I guess Chelsea should be going away, it will be a very strong game anyways, Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest which is a good result for them, but I must say Nottingham Forest was very unlucky in that game, after creating big opportunities and they couldn’t convert their chances.

Nottingham Forest made a series of bad decisions, but this is not one of them. Firing Nuno and hiring Ange were bad decisions, but they've done the right thing now. I saw a post here yesterday that the out of today's game will determine if he will be sacked or not, and it turned out to be true.
This game shouldn't have even played a role. He should still have been sacked even if he won by 5 goals. His team has been too bad.

But now the Premier League race is getting very interesting. Manchester City won and moved into second place, but we still have to wait for the results from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Nottingham forest couldn't withstand the pressure after conceding the first goal and after few minutes conceded the second goal which cost them the match. Now in their last six games they are yet to win a match which has being a very bad one for their new coach given their performance for last season.

This Chelsea team is not always guaranteed to win but in the end they keep pulling up surprises. I think that Chelsea gets even more better whenever they aren’t seen as the team to win, they gets better when seen as underdogs but in this case between Chelsea and Ajax, I think The Ajax team is the underdog considering their recent performances, they aren’t delivering as much as they should, their form have really dipped this season. But going into the champions league game with Chelsea I believe they will definitely get to prepare themselves very well because they’re playing against Chelsea, they know what Chelsea is capable of and they will definitely be weary of them. Like you said, football is a game which must be played for 90 minutes, and Ajax at home is definitely going to be a strong and interesting game.

It a pity he will be getting sacked as he couldn't win against the blues in this encounter, so bad.  However sometimes you never can tell which coach will do well if given the contract and until they're signed and showcase their coaching skills or ability, and that time Ange seemed to Nottingham Forest the best man for the job to replace Firing Nuno, else they wouldn't have signed him,but sadly he isn't doing what is expected of him.

This sack was highly anticipated. Two draws and six losses in eight games in a club competing in a European competition is poor. Ange Postecoglou have lost his master's touch that made him get good results with unknown players. I think the club gave him enough time to prove himself. 

My suggestion is that he consider coaching a national team since he has been sacked twice within a short period. The club would regret sacking Nuno Espírito Santo because getting a good coach who will reshape the club and bring it back to winning ways is not easy. I hope Evangelos Marinakis has learned his lessons.

Chelsea got a really smooth win but João Pedro couldn't make any score contribution once again... It is his 4th league game in a row that he doesn't contribute in this way. 

Crystal Palace - Bournemouth was an insane game man... Mateta made a hat-trick. He had the biggest role in the comeback from 0-2.

And Haaland continues from where he left. Maybe not impressive in the first half but nearly a hat-trick later on.

Chelsea got a really smooth win but João Pedro couldn't make any score contribution once again... It is his 4th league game in a row that he doesn't contribute in this way. 

Pedro could not be productive without someone who could assisting him like Palmer. This the reason why i'd prefer to see him play as an attacking midfielder instead of striker when Palmer injured. Just look at the first half when he's playing as a striker, it's an awful game. Things better when he moved down, and played behind Guiu as AMF.

Arsenal got important 3 points on the road to the championship by winning against Fulham away in a match that they didn't play well. Gyökeres continues to be disappointing. He couldn't score any goal in this match too. If I were in Arsenal's place I would sign Osimhen instead of Gyökeres. He was still in a very good physical condition despite playing in a low tier league like the Turkish Super League.

Everton have really improved in terms of performance and they have done that through the help of jack grealish who have been handed a free role in Everton to play every where, I think his career at city wasn't really a big success and this was because pep guadiola actually condition him to play a role where maybe he isn't all that fitted because the jack I see nowadays that performs is far way better than his time in the sky blue jersey.

Fulham vs Arsenal Arsenal won the match 0-1. I didn't get a chance to watch the first half, but Arsenal played mostly attacking football in the second half. Fulham was very defensive after the break. Despite such a strong defense, Arsenal managed to take the top spot in the points table with a 1-goal margin. The match was really competitive. Arslan had to work hard to achieve this victory.

Sunderland has been the biggest surprise of the season so far for me this season because, after Sunderland's promotions to the premier League most people expected them to struggle but that, is not the case as they have pulled out some beautiful results and is sitting comfortably on the premier League table. Four wins two draws and two loses is not a bad result for them because I was one person who expected Sunderland to struggle Sunderland currently sits 7th on the table with with 14 points.

The English Premier League matches their season has become too difficult to predict sometimes the teams you see as the best in a game will end up disappointing you so the best thing has been to just expect the unexpected so they you won't be surprised when it happens.  Manchester City against Everton should end in favour of City, they will be the host they have got their squad complete and their players back from international duties they wouldn't what to take chances as they will be hoping to begin their performance with a win at home.

That is normal, because there is no single dominant team anymore. For a few years in a row City was the dominant force and Liverpool did alright at the same time as well. Last season Liverpool wasn't even that dominant and still won the league. This season it's even better for teams because it's very close between like 10 teams, even the top teams could have trouble or win barely. This is why we should be expecting this situation to be sensitive.

I understand not wanting to see this change anytime soon, but as long as this equality continues then we are going to end up with hard to predict games. While that is bad for gambling because we do not know who will win, it is also great for it because odds are becoming better. Like City used to get not good odds, you would get maybe 1.20 or 1.30 but now we are getting much better like 1.80 or so, which means returns are better.

João Pedro is a new player so maybe he needs more time to adapt, on the other hand I see João Pedro has contributed on the assist yeah he has 3 assists so far, not bad right? I think it's just a matter of time and maybe he will contribute more at the right time.

Haha I agree it was a crazy match today and Mateta deserved to be Man of the Match in 30+ minutes he managed to score 3 goals and save Crystal Palace from defeat, I'm not surprised Mateta is on the top scorers list with 5 goals so far.

And Haaland continues from where he left. Maybe not impressive in the first half but nearly a hat-trick later on.

For Haaland we don't need to discuss it anymore, his contribution succeeded in bringing Manchester City up to 2nd place in the standings and we can call him the most productive striker until week 8, 11 goals in 8 games is really impressive.

Everyone in Champions League is a champions of other league and I believe they are also good to some levels, Chelsea can't come and work over them. They have to do something first which play well but if Ajax has been beating in their last two games, I don't think Chelsea are going to let this be a welcome back to Chelsea, this time any club can be dangerous but I can see confidence in  Chelsea that they can do this guys next week and everything is going to be fine.

I just think that there are times some teams doesn't deserve a spot in the Champions League, why would you qualify to show up in the Champions League and you never had win a single match or drew them like some other teams has done like two times now, this is the same spot other teams that were unfortunate last season want to have now and another team will have to fight to win Europa before they get automatic qualifications to this same Champions League another team is wasting here.

With this victory, Arsenal is provisionally at the top of the league and this puts more pressure on Liverpool, who tomorrow will have a very complicated game against Manchester United. Although they are not yet strong, they seem better to me than last season, while Liverpool seems worse to me than last season. Knowing that last season when these two teams faced each other, the game ended in a draw, so I will not be surprised if tomorrow's game also ends in a draw and this would harm Liverpool, but at least a draw is better than a defeat.

this victory for Chelsea FC at Nottingham Forest was a real killer, dude ! I saw them bounce back after a poor first half, in 2nd half they come up with real power. Josh Acheampong first senior goal (props to him!), Pedro Netos goal & finally Reece James late seal,, what a great game, wow !

But just a heads up, although this win has given momentum, I cant deny that everything is fine by any means. Rather I would say they are still in a shaky patch & Forest played very dangerously early on. So I would say they will need to be more defensively sharp & less mental slipups, along with consistency to face AFC Ajax in the Champions League

It's indeed a big win for Chelsea Manny did not expect this winning at first because of what Chelsea was actually playing they were very poor in performance in the first half, then I think they really listen to the advice given to them at the second half and they actually utilize it and got a win, then another thing that baffles me again is this habit of getting red card in every game played like this is alarming, as in they can't play match now without having a card, they really need do something about it because if it continues like this it will definitely weigh them in a way they won't expect.
