Looks like this is the turning point in the season where Arsenal starts to drop lots of points, perhaps even get eliminated in other competitions and we could see Deja vu all over gain.

One thing that I can't seem to wrap around my mind is how all Arsenals forwards don't stand out as top strikers like Halaand or Salah during a good season.

They bought Gyokeres, but his performance hasn't lived up to expectations and even his goal-scoring ability is very different from what he did at his old club. Overall, Arsenal's performance has been much better than in previous seasons, but dropping points in recent matches has brought them closer to Manchester City and Aston Villa. I also don't understand why Arsenal's strikers haven't been able to reach their full potential like the prolific strikers of other teams as they should have the best strikers currently available.

Gyokeres's goal scoring ability was the reason Arsenal bought him from Sporting so that he could help them win the premier league title, but Gyokeres has not lived to expections, and some persons are already seeing him as an over hyped striker. Arsenal are more consistent this season than in the previous 3 seasons, but Arsenal dropping back to back points against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United in the middle of the season has given Manchester City and Aston Villa hope in the premier league title. In recent years any striker Arsenal buys does not usually perform well in Arsenal, so i am not surprised with the way Arsenal strikers are performing.

Gabriel Jesus has 3 goals so far, Gyokeres has 9 goals so far. Gyokeres scores roughly once every two games so far in the season and that doesn't look like a bad deal to me. Not saying Jesus is worse, of course Jesus is a great player but people are making out to be like Gabriel Jesus is this amazing striker and Gyokeres sucks so bad.

The gap between them is not that much and I honestly believe that we are seeing something quite similar in both of them. If I was the manager it would be a tough decision no matter who I ended up picking. Doesn't mean that I would prefer Gyokeres, maybe I would, or maybe I would pick Jesus, but I would see them both quite the same level. Not like people here who think Gyokeres is worse.

Signing Gyokeres can not help Arsenal to win the league, i have said it from the beginning that striker is not the problem of Arsenal, how many goals any Arsenal attackers have scored this season, many of the attackers have not scored for the past 13 games, Gyokeres has not score 10 goals for the club and when he is in sporting he is scoring goals like machine and make many top club wants to sign him, he even ignored some clubs and chose Arsenal over them.

Gabriel Jesus and Havertz are better than him because they are legends when it comes to scoring goals, they know how to score when it matters most, Arsenal and Arteta have shown why they don’t have winning mentality, Arsenal will later sell some players at the end of the season even though the players is still in good shape because they will want to sign a player that have winning mentality and it will also affect Arteta if he did not win the league title this season.

perhaps they weren't prepared enough for Manchester United or they underestimated them. Arsenal has the best squad in the premier league at the moment but they couldn't even win united, it was disappointing but I hope they win their next matches and get enough points to surpass city and Aston villa. right now Manchester United are also doing well and if they continue they might be a threat to Arsenal

Arsenal was well prepared for the game and they didn't underestimate Manchester United because they watched Manchester United defeat Manchester City the only thing was that they were not expecting the Manchester United players to shoot from the different angles they took the strike that become goals but you saw how Arsenal reacted quickly to equalize the second goal but the third and winning girl by United took them unaware and thxt could really be a big problem to them but their performance in the champions League should cover their mistakes and give them more confidence to carry on in their next match.

Sure, I quite agree with you on this. There performance, not at the highest level, bit somehow good. None is greater than another presently. Gabriel has his good sides and flaws, Gykores too. Just like you said, if you were to be the manager, it would be a tough decision to make, who to start or who not to. For me, I would prefer a rotation always, either one starts off, the other ends it, just like the game against Manchester United. But who starts gets a little better time than who ends it. But it wouldn't be a constant thing that one will always start all games, I think a steady rotation will be a good option for the players

Implementing rotation in a position must still be done, especially if you have players with the same quality as Gabriel and Gykores, both of whom have their own characters in the starting position. The match against Manchester United has proven that player rotation is an attitude that coaches need to take in order to provide opportunities for players and maintain player performance in the next match. If a manager does not implement rotation, he will be ready to lose players and leave where he will be prioritized in the team.

I don't see that happening Arsenal is comfortable leading the table with some points and I don't see Arsenal allowing City or any other team to overtaking them. This season Arsenal has been playing well this is not the Arsenal team that we have been seen other years. This is because they had been playing with all levels of seriousness knowing what is at stake for them this season. Arsenal is at advantage going by the way other teams has been struggling throughout the season.

I am not saying that Arsenal is not in a good shape with the way they are playing but with the way they have been drawing matches, and losing to Manchester United we could see a slow outcome from Arsenal about them ever maintaining their top position.
We have seen serious clubs recently that are engaging decisively with good formation that could give them more points to over take Arsenal.

The problem has never been their performance recently. Too much needs to e demanded from the attacking players. They should leave ego's aside and work as a team to win these games. Failing to take the chances they have earlier on in games leads to these frustration. I am  looking forward to the games ahead, they have to start scoring goals because they have a good set of defenders who can defend the goals. Lack of goals leads to all these uncallful haram they do with their corner kicks and set pieces

What they have to do is to improve on their performance and maintain another long wining streaks. If they can be consistent,there is a chance that Manchester city and Aston villa might drop points. Arsenal can't afford to lose against leed United as the match would decide wether they would continue to remain at the top the table. Arsenal will decide their own fate if they would remain at the top.

I think Viktor Gypkeres and Gabriel Jesus are in the same level,  but they are just two different kind of striker. Gypkeres is more of an old school type of striker,  while Jesus is te kind of striker that plays more with the team. In my opinion I think Gypkeres is doing a wonderful thing at Arsenal,  although he has not scored as much goals as we all expected,  but he is the kind of player that keeps defenders occupied and create space for the players that plays behind him. It is very difficult for a team to press forward when we play Gypkeres upfront, because the opposition team always have 2- 3 defenders around him and that will stop them from going forward to join the attack, unlike Jesus that is hardly in the box, which gives defenders the opportunity to join the attack and press Arsenal more. So in my opinion I will start Gypkeres ahead of Jesus just for the freedom he gives to other players around him.

Arsenal have been winless in their last three Premier League matches, even losing to Manchester United. However, last night, Arteta's team secured a victory against weak Kairat in the Champions League.
While we can't really conclude anything about Arsenal's recent form, I think they remain the favorites to win the title.

Arsenal still have a long way to go for them to be on a safer side if they really want to win this year premier league.

Manchester City, on the other hand, will face Tottenham.

I don't think they can improve their performance that much, they've kept a certain constant throughout the season and obviously they're not made of iron.
Maintaining high performances in the Champions League also requires a lot of commitment, he clearly has to watch his back from City.
I mostly follow Arsenal at Premiere, but lately I've been shifting my focus to Manchester United's recovery, despite being 12 points behind Arsenal starting to be feared on the pitch.

That's because the Portuguese league and the Premier League are different in terms of atmosphere, competition and quality of players. So in the EPL for Gyokeres he must be able to adapt because all Arsenal players have their own targets to score goals for themselves. Whereas at Sporting all the players focus on Gyokeres as an executor and that is not the case at Arsenal. There is nothing wrong with bringing in Gyokeres, it's just that his methods and methods must be adapted to the needs of the club.

You know from the start I was actually thinking that they could win manchester united because they played united in the 15-20th minutes even to the point where manchester united almost got disorganized, at first I thought the goal scored by Arsenal would make things worse for united I mean being totally disorganized but no, it was even after the goal that they settled. manchester united proved that the wining that arsenal had in their home was a mistake, they thought they can also defeat manchester united with their regularly strategy (set piece) but manchester united seems to find a solution for that even though they manage to score their first goal from set piece but they really struggled for it. They must have seen potential in Gyökeres, which is why they signed him, but of course there are big differences between the Portuguese League and the Premier League. The easiest example of this can be seen in the coaching profession. Amorim, for instance, never achieved the desired success at Manchester United. The atmosphere in the Portuguese league certainly doesn't exist in the Premier League. The Premier League is a much tougher and more competitive place. That's why the Swedish striker didn't create the extraordinary impact he had last year. He faced a big challenge and knew things would be difficult when he came to Arsenal. Nevertheless, I appreciate their efforts. We might see a slightly better performance from him after he gets used to the Premier League. For now, he seems a bit sluggish.

Two teams defeated by Manchester United last two matches in a row are the top standings teams from Manchester City and Arsenal, since Michael Carrick become the manager shown good development progress by winning 2 matches in a row and slowly Manchester United back to fourth position standings. Good performance from Manchester United in last two matches in a row I think not any teams will underestimate with United performance and next match will face Fulham likely will can't stop Man United get three points again.

Man United focus next match have get three points against Fulham to make 4th position more comfortable and has gap points with Chelsea or Liverpool on the lower position. Manchester United make the fourth position standings race most interested right now after winning two matches in a row and remaining fewest points with Chelsea and Liverpool.

Yeah and just because we face a little bit of challenges everyone are now thinking that Manchester city will be able to claim the title,  and that think it will be that easy and just because we lost against Manchester city that is were all this is coming from and we have not lost our touch so we should not be underestimated because we are still in form so anything can still, and even our last game in the champions league we were able to win so we're is all the backlash coming from about doubt winning the Premier to me not have changed we are still going to win, so there is no way anything will Change or stop us from winning the trophy.

And our next game now is against leeds so I have nothing to fear about who is going to win so this are games that will give us more point and that is why I said am not bothered about what ever method of analysis that will happen all I know and see is that arsenal are bagging the trophy home, and what people need to understand is that when it comes to football things can happen the weak can become stronger all of a sudden and the stronger become weaker.

If Arsenal do finishes second again, then sadly I must say that Arteta isn't up to the task. Might be just another Arsene Wenger in disguise.
