Villa was good there is no doubt about that and I do not want to take away anything from their talent, they have done as well as hoped for. But at the same time we need to realize the fact that we are seeing a team that is not doing that great, which is Liverpool. We are not seeing them do a fine job so far and we should realize that Liverpool has been bad.

In this type of game, I do not say that Villa won, and rather say Liverpool has lost because that was exactly the type of game where Liverpool were the ones that lost the game. Manchester City defeated Chelsea in regulation time in today's FA Cup final because we noticed that a player for Manchester City scored in the 71st minute and that was the winning goal of today's exciting final match. Honestly, I think Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has probably cleaned up this team nicely because under this manager, City has been able to win ten trophies in 20 years, which is a truly incredible milestone. After winning the EFL Cup and today the third FA Cup under this manager, it seems to me that if the Premier League team had played more cautiously from the start this season, the PL title might have been in their hands. By the way it can undoubtedly be said that the City giants now aim to defeat Bournemouth in their next 37th match.

Considering City already got knocked off at UCL, and there is a potential that we are going to see them lose the premier league as well (if Arsenal wins their games of course) then FA cup is the only thing that City could win this year, they did win EFL if I am not wrong, but not many people care about that, FA is better.

So we need to see City playing the best game of their season, they need to play better than all season long and win this so that they can say they finished with FA cup at least.

Of course this match was very favorable for Manchester City and the result of this match was as expected. However, the number of goals was not as expected, I thought that Manchester City would win this match by a big margin but Manchester City won only by 1 - 0 goals. Win or lose really mean nothing as Manchester United is already secure their place in the top three and also sure of UEFA Champions League competition comes next season so win or lose is no big deal, I'm sensing Manchester United might lose this game to Nottingham Forest, then win the last game of the season, because with my observations Manchester United do not always lose the last game of the season despite whom they may be facing, and that alone can make me put in money to that game.

I was so confidence for Aston Villa because I know how they play at Villa park anytime they play against big team, winning Liverpool is not a surprise to me especially now that Liverpool are seriously facing inconsistency. Liverpool have to struggle now so that they will not be out of champions League zone, which was the reason why I was so confident for Aston Villa because they were having the same point with Liverpool. Most reason why many people didn't build confidence in Aston Villa was because many people thought they would bench some of their key players. And possibly, even if they used their key players, they might not put in much effort to secure a win against Liverpool, as they have an important match coming very soon, which is the Europa League final.Another reason was that Liverpool also needed the match seriously to qualify for the Champions League. So everyone expected Liverpool to appear very strong, and they didn’t have another option like Aston Villa, who could still qualify for the Champions League if they won the Europa League.These were the reasons many people looked at, and that’s why the defeat came as a surprise at the end of the match. I didn't expect that match to end that way but I'm so disappointed at Slot, after spending such amount last summer he's struggling to secure top 4 spot for Liverpool. Even though it was Aston Villa's home, Liverpool should've tried not to lose such an important match that could determine them playing Champions League football next season.
 Well since they mostly focused on their attack last summer they should pay more attention to the defense cause conceding 52 goals show that the defense is very weak and needs serious attention, Van Dyke is no longer that solid player we used to know maybe it's time for a new defensive hero.

It wasn't a managed win from Aston Villa, the game was controlled and dominated by Aston Villa, the victory was well deserved, it didn't happen by luck, Aston Villa knew they had to lock in better than they imagined, in order to secure Champions League position, what's left is to focus on winning the Europa League title.

Liverpool on the other hand, still in the race for Champions League qualification, if they don't play good in the last game, they might lose the position they are in, which will be terrible for them, qualifying is supposed to be their little achievement for the season.
