He had a good run in the Bundesliga and though the premier league is not usually a place for any weakness, I do think Xavi Alonso would be able to manage the team just fine. I still wonder why the club haven't confirmed Michael Carrick as the main manager up till this very moment, he has been on interim basis since the departure of Ruben Amorim yet he has done better than the Portuguese gaffer since he took over, I know the club's hierarchy are a bit skeptical about Michael Carrick's ability to stabilise the team but based on what he has done so far I think it is safe to say he can effectively and adequately manage this Manchester United side and should be given a befitting contract as soon as possible.

Who knows he might fail with some key players, you know not all managers can actually manage big names in football, but the fact is the Manchester United management should just assist him with his heart desires in terms of signing players because with what I'm seeing he looks like one who has got eyes for good players, with his approach towards some players I think he's got eyes for better players, he should focus more on the mid field and the attack, now that Case is leaving Manchester United need someone like him or more better to balance the equation.

If the MU squad already had the best lineup with high quality players, then for me it would still be very difficult. It’s better to enjoy the process with the current squad and avoid making too many changes before truly understanding what MU really needs. There is no average player in Man united there formal coach couldn't manage the club if not that carrick came and changed the mentality of the club maybe by now they would have been battling relegation.
