Tottenham has made the Senesi transfer official... It's a really smart move by De Zerbi. Senesi was available for free transfer. He was one of the best defenders of this season in the PL without doubt!  Roll Eyes

De Zerbi is just stating the players he wants to see at his team and the board is doing it as in the deal between them. I believe in him to save this team next season. Maybe not a title race but they can compete for a CL spot.
De Zerbi is a good coach, and I also think he is the right choice for Tottenham. I remember his first season at Brighton, he uplifted Brighton to be one of the most creative side in the EPL, and they also finished 6th in the table that season. This shows that he still has the quality of winning any trophy next season, or better still qualify for Europe next season. Tottenham still needs to sign good attackers, and also overhaul some players especially those that has low resistance to injuries.

The success of a team does not depend wholly on only the coach. Both the players and management will have to do their own part.

The time and money Tottenham wasted on signing Thomas Frank after sacking Ange Postecoglue should have been spent on De Zerbi, the team wouldn’t have faced the relegation battle the faced, they could have even finished in the position that could earn them a European competition spots, because he is a very good coach and have premier league experience while he was coaching Brighton.

Now that De Zerbi has helped the team to stay in the Premier League come next season, I will not be surprised if they give him money to sign more players, and from all indications, he will make the team great again.

Tottenham should be one of the team we should watch closely next season because they will have a good season, any premier league club fans know who De Zerbi is when he was coaching Brighton, he always had a incredible season with Brighton and turning some young players into a good player that attracted many teams, he also has a good job at Marseille in League One and he all left those clubs because of some issues but not because of his performance because he always delivered.

Tottenham have sign three players already and it looks like they are not done yet, they want to sign many experience players that can help the team because after the club sign many top players they did not have a good season with Brighton, Kudu and Simon always have a injury and some other important players and that also cause to get to the relegation position but with the help of De Zerbi they are play in Premier League and they will be back stronger than ever.

it's your thoughts and everyone has the freedom to do so. Don't forget it's football and anything can happen. Am not saying he will win or must win, of course, it may or may not happen. Nobody saw it coming when the Liverpool coach(sacked) did it season before last. He came to England and won teg EPL in his first season. Was it not what happened? So, if he did it, it means someone else can do it too. Maybe because of his performance at Chelsea, we think it's impossibly, but city is not Chelsea. Anyways, we don't know yet, it's football and anything can happen, thats just my point. Though, somehow, I still feel like city will be facing some challenges trying to build again to what we know them for
Liverpool was a team that became either second place, or even won the title under Klopp when Arne Slot took over. Yes they did not win the year before, but they had EPL titles in recent years.

City on the other hand won with Pep that is true, but for the past 2 years they are not doing well and the trajectory looked worse and worse, so I do not think that is the same thing. While it may feel like City won a lot and a great team, just look at the last month of this season to see why they were bad.

Indeed they have good players, even without pep I don't really see any reason why they would start performing poorly unless it would be due to other reasons but I think that if there is any change that would happen in Manchester city next month it is going to be a positive one and not one that's negative.

I hope so too, given that Manchester City has a very strong squad and has been performing quite consistently, so it’s hard to imagine them falling apart right away. However, we must acknowledge that one of the biggest factors behind Manchester City success so far has been Pep Guardiola significant influence. The new coach does have experience working with Guardiola, but proving himself as the head coach is a different challenge, the pressure in making every decision is certainly greater, but hopefully what Guardiola has built can be carried on successfully.

Saying city didn't perform nicely since their last two seasons is unacceptable, ending at top 3 every single time in those two seasons you mentioned is a perfect result for a team like city, funny how everybody pays so much attention to the winner alone, forgetting how tough it is to be the runner up, or finishing behind the runner ups.

Nothing is impossible in football because usually a change of coach can cause some crucial problems and we don't expect that to happen because Manchester City built by Pep Guardiola is so good.
Enzo Maresca may face quite a tough challenge, but I am sure he can overcome this problem considering that he is also quite familiar with the Premier League with quite high intensity.
The pressure faced by Enzo Maresca will certainly be much greater because fans and management will definitely demand more next season and how he can bring Manchester City to compete for the title.

I dont feel like Maresca is gonna carry a heavy burden like someone said above im not saying is not a big task but i feel like the last season of Guardiola was not good and that made the things much more easy for the next, i mean youa re not arriving to a team who is the champion of everything, now he needs to fix some things since the City team was not near to what they was in the glory days of pep.

Firstly we need to understand that Manchester City are now used to winning trophies, although in the last 2 season they did not win any major trophy, so I think that will put a lot of pressure on Maresca.  I think he is a decent coach,  but stepping into the shoes of a great manager like Pep Guardiola will not be easy for any manager right now. I think he will coke out good at Manchester City,  buy he needs to be giving time and not put much pressure on him.

Maresca will surely face heavy pressure at Manchester city from next season..I believe he won't face much difficulties  to manage the team because Manchester city is already an established team. They have well established players in the team, maresca doesn't need to start building a new team from scratch because city has quality players instead he only need to sign additional quality players to strengthen the squad. Maresca is very familiar with English football and he has work with pep guardiola in the past so I think he would do well at manchester city in the upcoming season.

Actually, Guardiola heritage has evidently created strong enough foundation to the Manchester city whoever will be the captain of the team in the future. The shift in position of managers also is a new hope to their further prosperity. I believe that this highly performing team will be able to retain it even with the major change in leadership in the bright future.

De Zerbi is a very good coach but the big question is will he bring Tottenham to that place they want to be. Tottenham aspiration is to be a top team in English football, they want to start challenging for titles but for honestly I don’t think De Zerbi is that man. I know he will bring stability to the team and maybe they will start challenging for champions league spots every season but winning titles is something I’m not very sure about.
Another thing he will need to bring Tottenham to a top level will be time, they will need to give him time to build the team the way he wants.
Also they will need to give him total authority about player recruiting, so he will bring in his desired players, players that can play his style of play.

It might be easier for Maresca, but remember that City won two trophies this season, which means Maresca will need to win trophies too. If Maresca can win the Premier League with City, it will be the best start for him, but it won't be easy, because Arsenal and Manchester United are also looking very good right now.
It's never possible for Enzo Maresca to win the English premier League title on his first season at the club never, I won't agree to that even at a gun point, like he's not that reliable for such performance, even Pep Guardiola that claim he conquer England still have to calm down on his first season, yes he might win the league with Manchester City no doubt, but certainly not this coming season, and to me I don't even see him winning it after two seasons, he will be qualifying UEFA Champions League but certainly not winning the league, it's an era coming to an end for Manchester City.

Well, it's your thoughts and everyone has the freedom to do so. Though, somehow, I still feel like city will be facing some challenges trying to build again to what we know them for
I understand where you're pointing, it's no doubt anything can actually happen because it's a game of football you ain't lying on that fact, but one thing you must understand is if you're using Arne Slot as a reference to Enzo Maresca then I'm sorry to say you might be getting it wrong, Because Arne Slot case is totally different from that of Enzo Maresca, note Arne Slot came in when the league is almost won by Jurgen Klopp, he only tap from the glory, and Enzo Maresca is not starting from there he's starting at fresh, so it's a complete different case, but let's just calm down to the season start, it's only then we can judge.

I don't know how active Arsenal will be in the transfer market this summer. But I have no doubt their title rivals will be very active during the window!  Smiley

Some of them have even changed their managers. Such as Xabi Alonso to Chelsea, Iraola to Liverpool and Enzo Maresca to Manchester City...

At least some of them would go for rebuilding in their squads. Do you think another team than Arsenal and Manchester City will be in the title race next time?
It seems Arsenal not very active the transfer market this season because their current squad is already very solid. Rival teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool will be very busy in the transfer market as they aim to strengthen their squad depth to compete for the title. Especially since none of those three clubs have a squad as deep as Arsenal’s.

But rest assured, next season’s Premier League title race will be even fiercer, and Arsenal’s fight to defend their title won’t be easy. the rivals won’t let Arsenal cruise to the title easily, and they’ll do everything in their power to win it.

Manchester City management is surely going to be a big burden even more so considering the standards Pep Guardiola has set for the club, Manchester City was already becoming a threat in the EPL before Pep but he turned them to a Competitive monster.
Enzo Maresca was their with Pep in some parts of the glory and even in his little time with Chelsea he brought Glory so I’m sure he’ll fit in well though a big shoe but he’ll find his way.
Next season will see several new faces among the Premier League managers and we expect to see a much tighter competition as several clubs adjust to their team's progress. Manchester City is the most talked about because perhaps after Pep Guardiola's tenure ends, there will be changes to the team. With Enzo Maresca's abilities at Manchester City, this could be a good start or make it even more difficult for Manchester City to compete. Enzo Maresca is a typically good coach, but whether he can bring the same level of success as Pep Guardiola has is still a question for some Manchester City fans.
Even if it happens that we are not going to see several new faces of managers among the big teams in the premier league we will still see tighter competition in the premier league next season as plenty of big teams will upgrade their teams so that they could improve their performance and also compete easily for the league title. Since Pep Guardiola left Manchester City, Manchester City has become the most talked about team in the premier league, and plenty of people have already said that Enzo Maresca cannot fit in Pep Guardiola's shoe, but as for me i believe Enzo Maresca will perform well at Manchester City because he has learn all the necessary things he needs to learn from Pep Guardiola.

His performance is a matter of probability. We don't know for now, and we can't tell. Pep was a a great Coach, and his abilities were greatly seen in his celebration every season as he lifts trophies all year long. On the other hand, Enzo Maresca is also a great Coach, and we have seen him do some performance while with Chelsea last season. He isn't a bad coach neither. The only talk here will be if he can measure the level of success Pep has set before leaving. I think there no much difference in the squad and just maybe, he can even stire more light for them as the new season begins. He may also sign some new players to make the team more competitive next season. We will see very soon

And if you should mention one of the best coaches we ever had then my number one is going to be pep because that man have put in a lot of effort for us and even with what ever challenges he might have went through we have been his priority and that is a good quality of a coach and look at the number of trophies he has bring to the table and only a few coaches will be able to do what pep is doing because that man is just very exceptional and I respect him so much.

And am happy he as not left the system and his going to be supervising the coach which means we are still having him around makes it more interesting because I don't want pep to go but seriously the man needs to retire because he does not want to coach again because it's not coaching and he has archive more than half of everything.

Nothing will change at this point because we still have him in the system so better next season for us, and as the case may be, when it comes to the city I don't usually have fear.

Not just this pal but also Robert Anderson from Liverpool on a free transfer. I mean, these are players who can build from behind and play comfortably, I'm banking a whole load of games on Tottenham to finish amongst the top 6 or top 5 next season. We will be there to see all that.

If they can provide enough players in defense, then Tottenham is definitely going to do something good next season. But I also doubt their qualification for the Champions League. They might be able to make it to the top eight. It will be very difficult to get into the Champions League after leaving behind teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea. Especially with every team building a strong team for the upcoming season, we can't say right now what is going to happen.

Tottenham's chances for the Champions League next time can be debatable of course. I'm one of the people who believe they will be able to fight for that at least.

But getting up and fixing most of your problems in only a year isn't an easy work to do... De Zerbi has a lot to do really. But with the right transfers they can return much stronger.  Smiley

Step by step in the end. I don't think the board expects him to qualify for the Champions League in a short time like nothing happened before.

De zerbi is a talented coach and reliable as well and the major achievements which makes him reliable are that he really did his great work to bring the team Brighton in to their good position which is quite acceptable as compared to the previously. And the team Tottenham needs a coach who makes them able to do the best and i think De zerbi has to put a lot of efforts to make them able to stand strongly. And this is true that there are multiple factors which play their role to make the team performance better. Marcos senesi Is a best addition to the team and it is expected he works in the grand favour of the team. And the team is eagerly needed to have more talented additions like this. If De zerbi will be successful to rise the the team up it will be a one more milestone in his profile

I wouldn't be so sure about next year's Tottenham's performances because this team is just too unpredictable. They are coming from two terrible seasons, don't get distracted by the fact that they won an Europa League, their Premier League performances have been terrible considering the amount of money they spend for players and wages.
