I wonder how much Enzo Maresca will change things at Manchester City. He is mentioned like his style is really similar to Guardiola's. That could lead to a not much different kind of a game plan.

But what about transfers? Bernardo Silva is also leaving by the way. I expect him to spend some money for sure. But I doubt he would make a huge change in the squad.

Enzo Maresca can actually play similar style to Pep Guardiola with different players. He hasn't made any transfer movement yet but I'm sure he will. if he doesn't, I'm confident that these current players can do the job well for him. Although finding a perfect replacement for Bernardo Silva would be better, but still I don't think it's necessary in my opinion, because Cherki can manage his position well.

Cherki is an experienced player and he's good at scoring, so I don't think Manchester City will feel the absence of Bernardo Silva. the players Manchester City have now, I believed if Enzo Maresca can do his job well these players can compete strongly to win him trophies.

2.     And now Pep left him again, he might have change of decisions because he is a human.
Ten years with 20 trophies is Pep's record that will probably be rarely matched by many other coaches. Although he receives good financial support, he is indeed a good and experienced coach. Since he arrived, I have seen how the EPL has become more interesting. Officially, Enzo Maresca has been chosen by Man City. Four months ago, he was considered a failure and left Chelsea. Does this situation not make you doubt Man City's future?
I believe that in all fairness, Enzo Maresca shouldn't be judged by his Chelsea performance. We all can agree that the Chelsea we used to know ceased to exist the moment the former owner - Ibrahimovich left the club. The Chelsea we have now is full of managerial and technical crisis, which will justify their poor run for some seasons now.

Honestly, I agreed with you that Haaland endured in Manchester City after Kelvin Deburyne left, because it hasn't been easy for him playing with Debruyne who provided most of Haaland assists at Manchester City. To me, I also feel that Erlin Haaland might change his decision because of Pep Guardiola departure, although Haaland will still be Enzo Maresca best striker. But in my opinion even if Haaland decided to leave I don't think Real Madrid will be his  best option.
KDB was the player that helped Haaland welcome well in Manchester city by providing him with incredible number of assists. Haaland has confessed missing him. We should just be optimistic that Marasca will perform because anything like a trophy less season, Haaland is gone.

I don't actually doubt you but the kind of form and potential Arsenal was playing with, I thought they will bring home a lot of trophies but seeing them winning the premier league doesn't really make any sense to me anyways it is better they won at least the premier league and much is expected from them next season, all Arsenal fan were saying that Arteta will be sacked if he doesn't win the premier league and I'm sure Arsenal would have sacked him but fortunately for him, he won the premier league.
It might not make any sense to you but it made lots of sense to lots of Arsenal fans in their numbers around the world, they had Premier League trophy drought for two decades plus so it's something worth being happy for them, that's why their parade is one of the biggest so far in England, even though they couldn't win other trophies breaking that ill luck in the Premier League is very important.

Well it never happened for us to know if sacking Arteta would be possible but it's good they did cause I believe lots of Arsenal fans would've pressured the board into sacking him. Arteta remains the best person to manage the team and sacking him if they didn't win the EPL trophy would've destroy what Arteta took years to build.
Arsenal winning the premier League trophy this season actually is a thing of joy for Arsenal fans after staying for decades without winning the premier League. This season is like a kind of open door, homely by next season the team will perform more than this.
Arteta is a good coach and he has really done a great job in Arsenal, it would have been a great mistake if he was sacked from the club at end of the season. Lucky enough he was able to win a trophy this season unlike previous season.
This season has opened the door to a new possibility for the Arsenal team so we hope that this team will play even better next season. In fact, winning the title after 22 years will automatically boost the morale of this team and this team has also competed in the UEFA Champions League final this season. All in all, we think that Arsenal will enter the field as the favorite team in the PL and UCL next season. You should note that there is no rumor of Arsenal's manager being sacked yet, in fact if Arsenal had been trophyless this season too, then maybe the Arsenal authorities would have taken that step but for now I see this manager being in charge of the Arsenal team in the EPL next season.
Arteta will leave Arsenal as a legend winning the premier league title after 22 years is a thing of joy they would have also added it the UCL title but Paris saint Germain says no. The premier league next season will be more competitive Arsenal may not even finish second place in the league the UCL also we may not see them in the semi final, Arsenal only manage to win the premier league title last season there was no consistent club in the league it was Man city that picked at the last phase but had loss before the ending of the season Man united also picked up after they signed in carrick and they went from 7th to 3rd so i believe this coming season won't be like last season.

I think the reason why Manchester city from the start even went for the Enzo Maresca was simply because they want to keep the Pep Guardiola playing style this is what we call football heritage. Enzo Maresca just like other past Pep Guardiola assistant coaches play the Pep tiki taka football with just some little changes. So I expect him to keep that playing pattern.

As for Bernardo Silva and Cherki Comparison I think they are not totally similar Players, they are different, Bernardo Silva is a central midfielder while Cherki is an attacking midfielder. You will see Bernardo Silva been pair as double pivot or anywhere around the midfield and also in the attack but you cannot use Cherki like that. A better replacement for Silva currently would be Reijnders but he still not that creative in my opinion, so a replacement is actually needed

Yes, Maresca is a good coach, he have a quality of a good coach that can help a team to win titles, we have seen it while he was coaching Chelsea, he won trophy with Chelsea in his first two seasons, but lack of patience’s just made the Chelsea management to withstand the poor form for sometime and build a team is why they let him go even though some reports were showing that Maresca left Chelsea because he was promised to replace Pep Guardiola in Manchester City, but it wasn’t public and Maresca claimed that he left based on mutual agreement.

I am expecting him to do something closer to what Pep Guardiola is doing at Manchester City even though he can’t be like him and the fear of Pep will not be in Manchester City anymore, but he will not have a bad season since he haha been with some of the players for a while and he has also experienced coaching in the premier league.

I saw somewhere that people are now saying that Manchester city is about to experience the sad reality of losing a one in a life time coach like Pep Guardiola, honestly Pep really made Manchester city unbelievable and they have not played such fantastic football but before him the have seen few premier league titles but it's true city became unstoppable under Pep Guardiola.

With this type of discussion there will be more pressure on Enzo Maresca to deliver because Manchester city fans are now used to winning and they may not want that to stop, the shoe is definitely big but the good thing is that Peo Guardiola has been given an ambassadorial role at the club and will have some say in the affairs of the club.

It was a great celebration into the camp of Arsenal because despite all the challenges they went through this season they still came out to win premier League title, if Arsenal team want to win next title, I think the president have to budget some huge amount of funds to hire some players because a lot of teams will challenge teams to make sure what happens this season will not happen again, many teams will definitely going to prepare more than the way they prepare last season, but many teams will surprise some big team that are not well organized.
They faced this difficulty every season, but these were the last few seasons, and everything has its time, and this year was that season for Arsenal. The club will increase the budget. They won the league championship and played in the Champions League final. To achieve these successes again, they need to do whatever it takes to stay at this level and maintain this standard. It requires significant investment and very good players. If they contribute well to the current team, it's possible; they can maintain this standard.

I guess the rumours about Erling Haaland's potential transfer to Real Madrid just got cut short.
Real's presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme, who was pushing hard to sign up Haaland, just lost the election, so it's unlikely that Real Madrid will be continuing their pursuit of a "hostile takeover" of Haaland.
Man City, Haaland's father and his agent, all confirmed he's not going anywhere.

More on the story can be read in the local Manchester news portal:
https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-city-erling-haaland-rodri-34081840

About that story, I don't think Haaland is even leaving Manchester City soon...

There was a rumour in the past like he had a secret release clause to be active. But now we don't see any such thing.

Haaland seems happy at his current team. Maybe Guardiola has just left but Enzo Maresca is also a manager who is expected to do a nice work. I think Haaland believes in him for now.
As the premier league season has ended, influencers will not have much football news they will use to generate traffic, so as the transfer window has open, we should expect fake transfer news because influencers will spread fake transfer news just for them to generate traffic, if transfer news does not come from a well known football journalist we should see such transfer news to be fake. Haaland is very happy at Manchester City. The departure of Guardiola will never make him leave this season. Manchester City is a club that have been doing well and winning trophies before Guardiola arrived, and they will still do well and win trophies as Guardiola has departed.

Enzo Maresca will inherit everything Pep left him, Including the star players and tactics he's mastered since joining Pep Guardiola staff. Manchester city, known as a premier league powerhouse, will undoubtedly need to maintain its status as a team that continues to compete for the Title.

Nevertheless, Coaching a top team will face pressure and Obstacles. He no stranger to the game, and he understands the premier league atmosphere. We see how his first season at manchester city goes, whether it meets expectations or whether he faces difficulties. To support the program he developed, he undoubtedly be Actively seeking to recruit one of his target players for next Season.

It’s so sad to see Manchester city lose a coach like Pep Guardiola, seriously Manchester City are just going to miss him, pep Guardiola is a legend at Manchester city, he really performed so well at Manchester city, and was able to win trophies for Manchester city, but now he has to step down for another person to take his position. I don’t know why people are underestimating Enzo Maresca which is going to be replacing Pep Guardiola, I just hope Maresca will be able to perform so well at Manchester city also, maybe his performance is going to be better than pep Guardiola’s performance at Manchester city.

They faced this difficulty every season, but these were the last few seasons, and everything has its time, and this year was that season for Arsenal. The club will increase the budget. They won the league championship and played in the Champions League final.

If the team would increase their budget or start going after the top elite players on the market during the transfer season, I doubt that. Arsenal is one team that relies more on developing players and getting young talents to aid them in their pursuit of the trophy.

About them having to win the trophy this season, it was really best that they did. I mean, there isn’t room for emotions in this game but, to have seen them have a good season only to fall behind severally, you’ll at some poly want them to win, this was there best chance and they took it.

It is the players who lost the loyalty mostly, not the fans. While I am sure there are some players who would be willing to play 20 years for the same club, that is not something common these days and only a few rare people would do something like that. Whereas if we are talking about fans?

Those people become a fan at five years old or maybe even earlier, and then they end up with 60+ or even 70+ years of supporting the same team, even on bad days, and even bad years, there are some that support their team even on bad decades.

They faced this difficulty every season, but these were the last few seasons, and everything has its time, and this year was that season for Arsenal. The club will increase the budget. They won the league championship and played in the Champions League final.

Arsenal has been spending money on transfer in recent transfer windows and I expect them to spend more this transfer season,  especially now that they just won the premier league title and they know they have a little edge above other team, so I am really expecting them to spend and bring in some quality players that will improve the team. Like Josh said when they won the premier,  he said this is just the beginning, so I believe they want more trophies,  so they are going to spend money to get what they want, also they are in a very good position to spend and it will not affect their finance. I expect Arsenal to sign at least 4 new players to improve the team in this transfer window.

Maresca worked as Guardiola's assistant for a long time at Manchester City, so he's familiar with Guardiola's tactics and movements. He knows very well what to tell the players and how to do it. Perhaps that's why the club made this choice. I think it would have been better if Guardiola had stayed with the team, but he must have decided to take a break for a while. It's hard to understand why a manager born for football would make such a decision.

Arsenal have invested  very very well in recent seasons, and if they want to compete for more league titles and european trophies, they should stay focus and stop feeling relaxed, I actually expected them to be active and sign in experienced players to improve their football sense cause even though they are with one throphy this season they still loose gaurd in the finals between them and psg so they need to improve, tho the issue is not all about just signing players, but signing in the right players who can immediately raise the team to a better level.

Enzo Maresca will carry a heavy burden since Pep Guardiola left and this will be a new step after Manchester City's success under Pep Guardiola's coaching.
No one knows what the fate of Manchester City will be next season because there will definitely be big expectations considering that this team was successfully built by Pep Guardiola.
Being a coach in a team that has achieved great success before will definitely be difficult because balance is needed so that Enzo Maresca does not make Manchester City worse and it is quite interesting how Enzo Maresca can become the next successor at Manchester City.

Guardiola is the man behind Manchester City’s success,  both domestically and on the European level. During his 10 years with Man City, he achieved remarkable milestones, and most impressively, he made Man City the second team to win the treble. So , given all the success Man City have enjoyed under Guardiola, it is entirely  understandable that people might have doubts about what Enzo Maresca can offer as Guardiola’s successor, as he does not yet have a great deal of experience and  he did not look particularly impressive during his time at Chelsea. I think the pressure on Maresca is immense , as he is undoubtedly expected to win at least one trophy in his first season

In terms of playing style, Maresca and Guardiola are indeed similar. However, Maresca lacks the ingenuity that Guardiola possesses when it comes to implementing various formations and adapting players to new positions. Now, even though Bernardo Silva has left, I don’t think Maresca is too concerned about it, and it seems he won’t be bringing in many new players either, since the Manchester City squad Guardiola left behind is already quite strong. However, Maresca will certainly need time to prove his abilities, and he certainly can’t make major changes right away, especially in his first season. But one thing is clear: we’ll see a different Manchester City under Maresca compared to the Guardiola era.

I dont feel like Maresca is gonna carry a heavy burden like someone said above im not saying is not a big task but i feel like the last season of Guardiola was not good and that made the things much more easy for the next, i mean youa re not arriving to a team who is the champion of everything, now he needs to fix some things since the City team was not near to what they was in the glory days of pep.

I am happy to find someone sharing the same point of view here and witnessing the past decades where the love of the club was like the love of the country for the soldier or the warrior. Back then, moving from your club to your rival is considered as treason and Luis Figo was the epic example in La Liga 26 years ago with a forced transfer record from Barcelona to Real Madrid.
Rooney and the others in Premier League are considered as the idol of the fans, it was hard to see them moving once they start to be famous there.
It is true nowadays that money is what it matters in the first place followed by titles. Harry Kane move to Bayern Munich was essentially to get any possible trophy in his career because in Spurs he will get only a statue in a random place at best.
Those were old days, today that doesn't mean anything to anyone anymore. Players can move from Barcelona to Real Madrid or vice versa and nobody will care, because at this point it's all a business.

There is no difference between supporting Man City vs Man United compared to supporting AMD vs Nvidia or something, or Mcdonalds vs Burger King, or Coca cola vs Pepsi. That's literally the same thing, it's like whenever one has a better quarter financially, you feel like you got a win. I know that sounds silly, but that's about how "business" football has become.
