Man United have released a statement that Marcus Rashford is available for sale for £40 million (~$54m) but not to Liverpool or City, which Man United consider to be their archrivals. So looks like Rashford is unlikely to be back to play for his old team. The club want him gone and he himself has said that he's not keen on returning to the Premier League. I think the price is reasonable enough to attract buyers, but the main problem could be Rashford's current salary. He is said to make £325,000 ($436,500) a week, so not many clubs will be able and ready to match that. That's probably one of the reasons Man United don't want to keep him. The media are saying that Michael Carrick is a fan of Rashford but he doesn't have the final say. The other factor for selling him is that Man United are trying to start a new era and build something new from scratch. Taking back a former star doesn't fit into that vision.
Even if Marcus Rashford is to be sold i don't think that condition excluding Liverpool and Manchester city is a good option as i in particular dislike that decision. In as much as football is concerned all teams may likely buy players from each other, so if there is any player willing to leave i don't think it is advisable to prevent him from going to any team of his choice. As for him staying at Manchester United, I don't think it is of any importance because there is no position left vacant for now that he can fit in because Manchester United have excellent players that can fit in to all those positions. Manchester United took the decision not to sell Marcus Rashford to Liverpool and Manchester United because these two clubs are their rivals and they do not want Marcus Rashford to hurt them in the future, plenty of clubs do this and it is not a new thing in football, so you should stop blaming Manchester United for putting such condition on Marcus Rashford transfer. If no club signs Marcus Rashford this season and he remains at Manchester United, i think there is vacant for him at Manchester United even with the excellent players that can fit in to his position because Michael Carrick wants to keep him. I don't see anything bad with Manchester United decisions most teams are reluctant to strengthen direct rivals especially when the players still has the quality to make a difference against in the future that's a common practice in football match not something unique to Manchester United as for Rashford if a suitable transfer doesn't happen he cancan still be useful to Manchester United squad.

Quality-wise he has good individual skills to help the team develop and what he needs now is to develop discipline and continue to improve himself so he can be part of the Manchester United squad. Michael Carrick will certainly give him a chance because next season Manchester United will have a much more congested match schedule, so adequate squad depth is needed to help the team. Now it's up to Marcus Rashford himself whether he tries to earn trust or continues to get involved in problems that will only end up on the bench next season because his contract at Manchester United is still running.

Chelsea will just focus on the premier league next season without playing champions league or Europa League competition. Let just see what xabi Alonso will be cooking after the World Cup is over.
Chelsea was a strong team and it seems always like they want to be on their previous and strong position . The new coach xabi Alonso will try to get the team in their back era and make them to perform strongly and efficiently. And I think if Chelsea team will sign new and talented players it will be very beneficial for the team as they can stand in top positions. And it will be a good decision if they focused on only one goal because in this way they can fully concentrate and bring improvements in the team. And xabi Alonso is a reliable coach he is very experienced and i how he will manage to do the great with team. They very firstly need to overcome such main factors which are responsible their decline in the performance because without doing this maybe things not get easier

Even if Marcus Rashford stays at Manchester United, he's a player who can be useful to this squad. We all saw how well he performed with Barcelona. He can do the same with Manchester United. He gained different experiences in the challenging atmosphere of Spain and will return to the Premier League as a more technically gifted player.
Despite playing descent at Barca and on loan, they let the buy-option expire. No trigger at all. As far as I'm concerned they've moved on to other targets. In fact, no matter how well he plays, his huge salary of £325,000 a week plus his current form is tough for the maximum club. All say United are pushing to sell him to rebuild the squad. But his huge salary is the real blocker. I also heard that there is a release clause of 40 million. It would be wrong for anyone to think that Xabi can just automatically change things overnight. Xabi has potentials there's no doubt about that but might be faced with a lot of challenges in building the team and bringing them back to what they used to be. Let's see what he would be able to achieve within the first few months of managing the team.
You said right. No miracle will happen overnight. Cucurella's move to Real has created a big hole on the left side. Plus the squad still needs depth. Alonso's system requires a player with the perfect profile. And if they can make a smart transfer, Chelsea have a chance to move into the top 6, but the top 4 looks a bit more difficult early on.

Chelsea will just focus on the premier league next season without playing champions league or Europa League competition. Let just see what xabi Alonso will be cooking after the World Cup is over.
This is one of the things that excites me the most, because things are very different now for Chelsea. I think Xabi Alonso is one of the main attractions that the new seasons in European football will have. There are many changes that have taken place, I think the whole global sphere will now be much more attentive to these matches, to the leagues, everything. This is getting exciting and spreading. Now the Premier League will have another bit of spice: Chelsea with a new coach, City with a new coach. Yes, without European competition they might be able to focus more on the Premier League. And they will have time to rebuild the team better under Alonso. But the problem is that the left side has suffered a lot since Cucurella left. Also, the squad still looks quite weak in key positions. In fact, the real picture will only become clear once the transfer window ended Man United have released a statement that Marcus Rashford is available for sale for £40 million (~$54m) but not to Liverpool or City, which Man United consider to be their archrivals.
As for him staying at Manchester United, I don't think it is of any importance because there is no position left vacant for now that he can fit in because Manchester United have excellent players that can fit in to all those positions. £40m price tag seems reasonable. His huge salary is the real deal. No maximum club will touch him because of this salary. United's decision to rebuild is a smart one. But selling their academy player in this condition is proof of how messed up the club is They have yo yo performances over the last two seasons. So, there are better values in other teams until the squad is fully settled.

After Barcelona failed to sign him permanently and other clubs have not shown interest in signing him, Rashford will be part of the Man United squad next season, but there is no guarantee that he will fill a place in the first team. As reported in various media outlets, Man United are reluctant to loan him out for a third time and are prioritizing a permanent sale to reduce the salary burden that must be paid for him. He needs to perform at his best at the World Cup to change the club's attitude towards him, as well as attract interest from other clubs if Man United really don't want him anymore.

Officially Rashford is not known whether he will start or not, but it looks like he will play for Manchester United, which is good news anyway. A good player (although Manchester has no shortage of good players), I'd say he confirms that a great 2026/2027 season is on the horizon for Manchester United, I don't know if he can win the Championship, but the team will play an important role in this competition.

While many are interested in his services, I think it's better for him to return to Manchester United. Now might be the time especially since the manager understands how to improve the player's performance. Rashford has a good relationship with Michael Carrick. Therefore it's perfectly reasonable for Rashford to return to Old Trafford especially since Manchester United will be competing in the UCL next season. Having Rashford will at least provide some relief for the Red Devils when other players in the same position are injured. Indeed, every team must have a decision regarding the clarity of the future of its players especially Man United prefers to sell players rather than giving a loan period back to another team because currently Rashford has not been in the Man United camp for three seasons so it is natural for Man United management to prefer selling rather than borrowing because if selling there is an advantage for them to look for other players especially this is an opportunity for them to see the players needed by Carrick because currently the world cup is being held so the event to look for new players to be recruited seems very easy for the Man United camp.

Rashford has been in the premier league for a long time. We have not seen the expected good performance from Rashford. But in the last season we have seen a very good performance in the barcelona jersey. He has been able to adapt well to Barcelona. Even so, Rashford is still the property of manchester united. If Carrick is interested in rashford, then Rashford has no chance of staying in Barcelona. Carrick is a talented manager. I guess he will definitely add rashford to the squad.

Carrick most likely won't put Rashford to Manchester United main team and Manchester united too do not want to loan him anymore which mean they only considers to sell Rashford if there is a team who really want him but, in my opinion 30 million is not expensive which probably this summer Rashford will moved to other team. Besides that one of the biggest problem why Manchester United want to sell Raahford because his salary is too high however, currently Rashford playing at the world cup with England and yesterday he was score to help England won over Croatia and if he playing well for upcoming games it will increase his value on transfer window.

Let's see what he would be able to achieve within the first few months of managing the team. Well there are expectations on Alonso, Chelsea is a club that definitely expect much from their managers. For me I believe Xabi is a good coach and if given what he desires I think he will do well at Chelsea. He has lost cucurella already and I believe he will be losing Enzo Fernandes also, but Chelsea are already lining up replacements for both players, but no player will be signed without Xabi approving it. Xabi have proven in his past job that he his a very good manager, we all saw what he did at leverkusen and even at Real Madrid most people didn’t consider him a failure. So at Chelsea with these young players I believe it will work out for him.

I feel like clubs will come for him before the World Cup ends, Rashford is on the same league as most top average players that are being sold in the transfer market, and it is obvious that Manchester United barely have plans to retain him, I believe if club come for him, even though it is lower than their asking price, they will let the player go. So sad how a player like Rashford is not a priority signing for most clubs, disadvantage of a playing falling off.

Xabi Alonso is a good manager hope they solve the problem because Chelsea have alot of problems at the moment Cucurella's leave Chelsea the left back place is empty. The rumours arround joe Pedro and Enzo can cause alot of problems to xabi Alonso alot main star of this Chelsea squad cold Palmer are also linked to Manchester City if this happens xabi Alonso will be in big trouble to solve the problem. I know Chelsea have money and they sign new player but if the old and experience player is leaving then you should worry about it.

Chelsea have appointed a talented manager like Alonso. Now they should give Alonso the freedom to buy players and build the squad. Chelsea spent a lot of money last season on buying players. They may need to spend a big amount this season too. I think chelsea management will spend a lot this season. Alonso is talented and hardworking. We will definitely see an improvement in chelsea's performance next season.

The transfer market has been open for some time now and Chelsea have not started buying players in a hurry, as they normally does under this new owners, that shows that they have learnt their lessons, and what I heard was that xabi Alonso will have a major say in who goes in and out of the club, so it's because of that I believe that they are going to do well under the leadership of xabi Alonso. Xabi Alonso needs time to work with the team first before he will know where needs to be strengthened, so I believe that he is going take back Chelsea to their level in no distance time, only if he is given enough time to work on the team.

The board will give him that freedom indeed! At least that was we were told earlier in the news... Chelsea owners shouldn't act on their own anymore. Because they are just infamizing this team. They know nothing about football really. They are looking at it just like a business model that's it! If Xabi Alonso is given the control of signings at least they can get stronger for real.

I agree that no matter how good Rashford could be, he just doesn't want to be there and if he leaves and be sold to another team he could do a lot better. Barcelona wanted him, permanently, and United didn't sell him for a good price, so they have to be stuck with him instead now, a player that doesn't want them. This is why everyone says it is not about INEOS or Glazers, all of them are sucking at running this club, and someone else should buy it.
Because who would not turn a player into an asset that they can profit, when in reality they choose him staying unwantedly there? That makes no sense, if the player hates you, you sell them for whatever max you can get for them, keeping them instead of selling them gives zero, if you sell him and get underpaid for his value, you still at least get some money out of it instead of zero.
