I believe the same disaster that happened at Real Madrid may happen at Chelsea too. I don't think Xabi Alonso is the kind of coach who can handle the pressure at Chelsea or, on a broader aspect, the Premier League, like he did in the Bundesliga while at Bayer Leverkusen. So I would urge Chelsea fans not to get too excited.

Xabi is a good coach, he just didn’t get support when he was at Madrid. If Chelsea gave him 100 percent authority, I think Chelsea could become a great team. Management support should also be a tool for him to get players that match his preferences. We understand that the difference is quite big; Chelsea seems easier to manage than Madrid, which has a lot of star players. Xabi should be able to make Chelsea like Leverkusen. Hard work and team cohesion can make them great and dominate the EPL again. Unfortunately, Pep has left. I see that Pep’s and Xabi’s styles are similar they prioritize team collectivity.

We don’t really knows how xabi Alonso will play is role in Chelsea next season so we can’t predict if he can handle the club well or not we just knows that any coach that come to new club will always do is best to perform Nice on is first season and that is what I just get believe on, that xabi Alonso can contribute very good in Chelsea next season. Now that is not in a big competition they will always focus on the premier league that will give him hope and the players won’t be over stress and they can contribute very good in the league competition next season, let just watch which players he will sigh before next season started.

I feel Chelsea just needs to open their purse and get new players that will be hungry, this issue of not wanting to sign credible players because they don't want to pay heavy on wage is another problem Xabi Alonso has to deal with. Since they are Concentrated on the premier league alone, it will be an ample time for Alonso to rebuild the Chelsea team, they've not really been themselves, but management should understand that it will take a little longer for the Chelsea team to stand on her feet, although Alonso will as well hit the ground running.

He is one of the best young managers in the world now undoubtedly. The only thing needs to be done is to let him free on signings and strategies all. Then I believe he can handle it.

They're a big side and also a competitive side but with the nonchalant management of owners can we even think of such a thing?!  I can not say that right now, but I can say that when I see the incoming who will be joining the project of Xabi Alonso this season. It does seem like few players are ready to stay though.

Xabi Alonso is a good coach and i think now his joining as the new coach of the team Chelsea is a big responsibility of Alonso. Because the team is also facing a disturbing situation or in fact they are not in the stable condition so in this situation there is a lot of things xabi has to do with the tram to make them strong. And the good thing is that he can sign new players of his interests and for the team's  favour before the next season and i think this is really a good thing and he should take all the signings with deep thoughts so he can bring those players which has the potential to make the team stand in authentic positions. I don’t think the situation at Chelsea will be the same as at Real Madrid. Chelsea’s management doesn’t pamper its players, unlike Real Madrid, which tends to support its players more than its coach. That’s why Xabi lost his job at Real Madrid. Xabi Alonso is a good coach, and he’s the type who can handle pressure as long as management is willing to support him. Of course, fans shouldn’t put too much pressure on Xabi in his first season because he needs time to adapt. Xabi needs time to improve Chelsea’s performance, so let him work with the ideas he’s brought to Chelsea.

I have so much confidence on xavi Alonso that he will resurrect Chelsea because currently I considered Chelsea as a dead club, because after spending so much on them we still don't see any results but I hope this time around we will be able to see their impact since xavi Alonso is in charge. Xabi Alonso is a demanding manager. Chelsea cannot sign a top manager without giving him all the necessary players at least in less than two to three years to win a major trophy. In his contract, there will be agreement that says if he doesn't win a major trophy within a specific period his contract will terminate. Chelsea has enough money to get good players. I just don't know why the owners are interested in making profit only.

You say "easy" but I'm not that sure as for the first round matches... They are the most dangerous ones to make a bet on as well. Because these are the opening matches.

Even top contenders might not be fully ready and concentrated yet. I will be interested in the matches of newcomers on the 1st week. Maybe one of them would have a good start. Ipswich is the most likely one for that.

My agreement to this statement is to an extent cause it's dangerous in the sense that they'll be playing against a team coming to the league with an unfamiliar strategy, lots of people could pick Manchester United to win and might end up drawing. But on a normal day Hull City is the underdog and shouldn't be a threat to Manchester United, likewise Coventry to Arsenal.

 I'm not expecting anything much from the newcomers, my only worry is that most import players from top teams might sustain injuries or be less ready for the first few weeks due to fatigue from playing in the Champions League, coaches might even give them time to rest and not participate in preseason games.

A game both Manchester United and Arsenal can win comfortably but you will see one of them will not on that opening game. Frank Lampard has done quite well in the Championship, he has been a manager with a small club in the Premier League Competition before, so he better stick to whatever works for him.
That will be a tough fixture  but Liverpool should beat them. Andoni Iraola did beat the last season with Bournemouth did he not?!

Exactly, I was also looking at the fixtures and I saw these two fixtures which makes me think it will not be an easy match for them, both Arsenal and Manchester United needs to be very careful because these are newly promoted teams that have did really well in the championship, and I believe they will sign more players to prepare for new challenge just as Sunderland did when they get promoted last season.

There is still high chance of Arsenal and Manchester United to win these matches, they have experience players that played really well last season in the premier league, and considering it to be new season, new challenge and new title race, I am sure all effort will be put in the game to make sure they both win their opening matches.

It's not just about opening the purse. Chelsea have already spent a massive amount of money in recent years, but unfortunately, most of it was spent on young talents rather than experienced players. Now the big question is whether Chelsea's management will give Alonso the freedom to spend heavily and bring in the players he believes the team needs.

Another issue is time. Alonso will need time to build the team and implement his ideas. Some fans are still skeptical about his future because they're worried that if Chelsea fail to achieve good results quickly, the club could end up sacking him just like they did with several managers before him.

I agree with you Chelsea player are not actually bad are untalented the problem with that club is just consistency because that club has so many talented players right from their start till now and their problem is just the management issues and it’s serious making them lack behind. As for Alonso i thing he is good and capable enough to manage the squad and if he is given enough time he could gradually change Chelsea back and bring them back to their prime and they can actually become one of the best again.
