Yan Diomande is a talented player, no doubt. But I don’t think he worth the amount Liverpool are paying to sign him. Leipzig rejected the first offer from Liverpool, they rejected €100m for a player who has played only one season for Leipzig. Liverpool should learn a lesson from last season after signing Wirtz from Leverkusen €120m, Yan Diomande might struggle to adapt to the pressure of the Premier League.

It' is incredible that Liverpool can spent 120 millions for wirtz and this season another 100 millions for Diomande. I watch a match with diomande on the pitch and it is a very fast and dribbler player, but it is a incredible amount of money for a player with only 40 matches with Leipzig. In this years for the top team buy a young player it is a blood splash and not all of this player become the new messi.

To me Liverpool has been careless in their spending in the last two seasons, spending over two hundred millions on only two players if this Diomande deal goes through. Liver to me is missing something fundamental and that, is building a team from already what they have including the youth team they should promote some of their youth players and blend with the present squad, instead of wasting money buying more player when the already existing players have not been utilized to their full potential.


Liverpool spent a lot of money last season and only struggled to even qualified for the champions League. Liverpool should look inward and stop spending more money. This new coach should not make the mistake that Alot did by spending recklessly only to be sacked.

Chelsea hasn’t really been that team to have a lot of patience with a manager in order to build a project that can take 3 to 5 years.

If they were to be a bitcoin investor, I’m pretty sure they would touch their wallet to panic sell or buy when the market becomes volatile, they wouldn’t have the patience to hold for a long time.

They really need to build with Alonso. He’s young with prospect, considering what he has done at Leverkusen. He already has a history of winning, not just winning, but going unbeaten. But then, he will need time to bring in his own type of players who will play football in his own way, which cannot normally be achieved within a season, unless in a few cases.

Well so much has been said about Alonso, for sure there are expectations about him, a lot of people expect so much from him. So when it come to been patient it really a hard thing for Chelsea, you can’t blame them, they are really used to instant results.

The like of morihno, maresca, Tuchel and even conte came and made instant impact so it just a Chelsea kind of thing. I have this feeling that Alonso will also made an instant impact, I feel he will be able to win a trophy in his first season for Chelsea.

He begins his job by July 1st so let see how he handles the premier season and the big season ahead of him.

From my own opinion,  I dont think Manchester United needs to push for a left back because they have alot of defensive players with the  capability of giving the  strength required. Where the problem is now is that midfield,  I think all attention should be channelled to that midfield because since it have been confirmed that cassimero will be sold, I think it will be preferable to get a replacement that can be capable to do that controlling job that he has been doing.

Alonso is a good coach and is growth has been progressive, my issue is not that the management may not give him enough time but rather they might not give him t o support or allow him make the managerial decisions fully.

Although, while we understand the aspect of waiting it's important that a structure or a level of growth and identity will be seen on the team in general and individual players (even if it's not all but in a higher positive percentage).

Of course, they can build, but there are other ways to go about it in terms of buying players without spending that much. The problem with them at the moment is that they're desperately/urgently trying to get a replacement at all cost, and I could remember telling some Liverpool fans that the money they spent on Isak was literally a waste, because I expected them to get a proper RW replacement even before the departure of Salah. Maybe not even as expensive or as good as Diomande, but purchasing the player about one seasons ago would have unlocked certain potentials. At this point, they're now forced to get a player that had one incredible season in the bundesliga, and a zero premier league experience. If you ask me, I think this is a gamble, and who knows how many months it's going to take for things to click/workout. I can only wish them the very best, and wait for the season to start.

Playing the promotion team with league champions on the first game is not an easy start of the season for Coventry without a doubt.

But what Coventry needs to remember is that roughly 40 points should be enough to stay, sometimes not even much, max 40 points is enough and you could get away with even less sometimes. So that comes out at 1 points per game, as long as they average out 1 point per game, there is a big chance they can stay.

And with at least 3-4 teams they could beat, that's already 20 or so points right there, so they just need to get some draws in other games or get some lucky wins.

Well they have made a move for Nottingham forest Anderson, they sent a 100miilion bid which was reject and now they are preparing to send 120 million for the England international. Anderson is a hot cake and every big team wants him, it will be a good replacement for Rodri who have been struggling since his injury. The deal is almost done and should be finalize on coming weeks.

A lot of players are still in Manchester city rader, they are thinking of bringing a left back also. Cucurella was on their list before Real Madrid snatched him. I believe during this World Cup they will get a player or two to the team.

Oh really? Elliot Anderson is one of the best midfielders in the PL right now. That would be a great move for Manchester City if he doesn't have any problem with adaptation to a much bigger team.

I think they almost always do the same thing at the start of the competition every season so this is nothing new for those who often follow the Premier League about what Arsenal does in their matches every season. Basically they always manage to achieve quite good results at the beginning of the season. Last season they did the same thing. They also almost lost the title because their points difference with Man City but in the end they were caught up by Pep Guardiola's team at that time so they finished first in Man City. Coincidentally in the same match Man City suffered a defeat so they finally managed to win the title after struggling for several seasons without winning the Premier League title.

Last season should have been quite an experience for Tottenham because they are a team with a history in the Premier League and used to be one of the teams that always dominated the top of the standings. Their lack of performance last season means they need to bounce back next season to become the team they were in previous seasons.

Really Madrid interst on rodri are still on. Manchester city give the renewal but the player want to only focus on WorldCup with Spain maybe the decision will come after the worldcup.  Whatever it will be Manchester city or maybe it will be new club Madrid. But I don't know hy Madrid want to sign him they already sign bernado silva and also have a good player in midfield.  Maybe it will be Mourinho's secret weapon for the next season or something else.

Elliot Anderson rumours are circulating arround Manchester City Transfer but I think it all depend on Liverpool new managers if he give them a role and so I don't think they can leave Liverpool. The strengths of the two teams are clearly different, as Arsenal are far superior, with both players possessing superior quality and mentality compared to Coventry.
The Premier League is highly competitive, despite this team's recent promotion to the Premier League. Usually, they can match the strengths of their opponents, even if they end up losing. Tottenham have already evaluated their team, and I'm sure they will be slightly better this season. However, mistakes last season almost led to their relegation, so the management must have made a major overhaul to improve the team.
The first match will provide an indication of the club's strength, although it won't be decisive. These matches will be interesting to watch.

The game will be played at Arsenal's home ground. And Arsenal always start the season very strongly at home. And their quality is much higher than newly promoted Coventry. From my experience newly promoted teams can be quite dangerous at beginning because they have nothing to lose, right? However the Gunners are heavy favorite due to squad depth and home advantage

On the other hand Tottenham vs Brentford match is a bit tough to predict. Although Spurs have talent but they often drop points against the established mid table teams.

I may bet on over 2.5 goal in these opening matches. But before that I will definitely check the confirmed lineup and injury news updates

Chelsea hasn’t really been that team to have a lot of patience with a manager in order to build a project that can take 3 to 5 years.

I will not also support their kind of hash decision taken process, sometimes we may not have to react the same way we see the situation of things going on, there are times that we need to give more patience in order to see maximum delivery from our manager, I'm also aware that they need delivery as always expected, for this may not be at the exact time way proposed than when we are able to exercise patience and leniency in seeing each team play along with the manager in a more coordinated manner that could drive results.

But it is very clear that expensive players who have come from Bundesliga to Premier League in most cases it usually take 6 to 12 month for them to adapt to the intensity and physicality of Premier League

Midfield and backup defense need to be strengthened. Otherwise it will not be possible to save this team from being unstable like last season. It is not possible to achieve the desired success by pursuing only attackers. In fact it is important to ensure squad balance first. Without this solely overpaying in transfer window does not secure UCL spot. Lets see how Iraola merges these young players with his experience

If Chelsea fails to keep Xabi Alonso by end of the season, then they’ve made another mistake which will cost them going forward. They have long time been wanting a good manager but now that they’ve gotten one with good records, I hope they don’t send him packing so early without yet to finish building the reputable team they’d wanted to build for them to stand a better chance in all competitions they’ll be participating in. Chelsea needs to exercise patient because if they continue like this, they’ll not end up winning anything again this season. For me I won’t say Liverpool spent recklessly last season, when you looked at all the players that bought, they are all quality players. Isak was tearing premier league  apart before he moved to Liverpool, Witz was also doing the same at bundesliga, same goes Ekitike. For sure these players are having a hard time to adapt but we can’t dispute that they are quality players.

With a new coach now coming in I believe these players will do so well. He just need to bring in a rhythm of play that suits the whole team. Bringing in Diomande to replace salah to me is not a reckless spending also, just that the fee is kinda much. But at the end some big player need to be brought to the team to replace the Egyptian kind. And is not gonna cost less in this current inflated transfer marrket.

Liverpool was playing very well in the beginning of the season and when reaching the middle of the season, it was very obvious that Liverpool clubs started struggling to be able to win and even with the money they spend in buying those players, and if actually Liverpool wants to go far in this coming champions League season, they really need to buy players that will eventually help in growing or pushing the club consistently into a better position both in premier League trophy and the champions League trophy, because it is very obvious that all clubs are really getting prepared for the next season.
