Actually, it's not that difficult for Xabi Alonso because overall Chelsea's squad is already quite good since they have quality players in every line, especially with the many potential young players, it should actually make it easier for Xabi Alonso to build this team, although I also can't deny that Xabi Alonso still needs time to adapt. But at least there are positive progress signs; if not, it's not impossible that Xabi Alonso might end up having the same fate as previous Chelsea coaches.

I don't think Chelsea has a good squad. They have a big squad and a lot of players, but I can't call that a good squad. If you field the first eleven of Chelsea, there is really nothing else on the bench other than average players. Even the first eleven is not a very good one.
They have top players like Cole Palmer, who is no longer performing at the top level, and James, who is always injured. So that is not a good team in my opinion. They are a team that can be used to keep the team in the top 5 if the coach does well, but I don't see that as a team that can compete for the league.

This is what you get when you just buy every available player. This club had an opportunity to buy Osimhen, but they opted for Delap. Decisions like this are what tell you that the Chelsea management doesn't know what they're doing.
If Madrid are serious, they might buy Enzo this summer and that would make things more difficult for Alonso.

What will really help easy his job is what the board has done for him, they are supporting his project and they are giving him the players he his requesting for. Considering what he did at leverkusen we all have huge expectations about him. Let see if he his really the man for Chelsea and can bring them back to where they actually belong.

We see Chelsea already pushing to get the deal of Lacrioux done as soon as possible and are also to get another center back before the start of next season. For me I think it the right decision, chelsea really need a quality center back.

And at least they should have players with proven experience. I actually don't mind Chelsea focusing on developing young talent, but the squad should also include players with quality, skill, and enough experience. That way, the team would be much more balanced, with young players working alongside experienced ones. I'd also fully support Chelsea's management if they gave Alonso complete authority to sell players who aren't contributing enough and bring in new signings who are ready to compete in the EPL.

You should know that Chelsea management has not always being patient with their managers and need an instant change in the club. We saw that with Thomas Tuchell who won them the Champions League just few months after joining the club and other managers too, even with their very own Frank Lampard.

But we would have to watch out for Xabi Alonso's performance at Chelsea. He is a great manger both at Bayer Leverkusen and at Real Madrid too so it would not be any different with Chelsea. This is an illusion. If a team allows any player to join whatever team when they want to, they would lose all their big players and just be an average team.
A club needs to make sure its valuable players are happy at the club, if not, they would want to leave. This illusion of I want passionate" players is funny. No top player will want to be at a club that isn't able to compete at the top level. Only players that come from the acaemy or youth system of a club would be loyal enough to remain at a club no matter the situation.
The players Chelsea are siging now are not players that are "passionate" about playing for Chelsea, they are simply players that are going to differnt clubs the same way other clubs sign players. they may talk about hoe they love the club and always wanted to play there but the moment they are no longer happy in the team and are not competeting at the level they feel they are supposed to, they would prefer to leave.

Garnacho is the first name I had in mind immediately I saw the first statement. He is not good enough to play for Chelsea and I'm sure he'll most definitely leave soon enough.

So far, the two names linked are good players, even the player signed up completely seem to be a brilliant lad. The defender linked from Crystal Palace has also had an excellent season with the Eagles.  He will be of great use to them under Xabi Alonso's three at the back.

Yes Chelsea area actually very impatient with managers, in the past they actually were sacking managers but the reality check then was that Roman Abramovich was actually a better owner than Todd Bohely because actually gave the managers the freedom to do what they want to do and he also backed them with players they asked for and that was how Chelsea rose to its height today. But Bohely is totally opposite of that, he controls the entire affairs of the club and doesn’t give the managers that freedom and it’s the reason why most of these managers do not actually get successful.

For Xabi Alonso I think he would need lots of time because realistically this is a team full of teens and you don’t get instant success from them because they are usually inconsistent in performance until they grow with time and the right manager. Chelsea as a club doesn’t like to wait or patient but at this time I don’t think they have any choice at all other than to wait.

As for the left back saga, yes Palestra is actually a very good signing but they need another left back even if it’s a veteran player and a low budget option it will be good because sometimes you never know when injury might struck

I think something, if we really think about what they have to do at the club, it's to listen to everything Xabi Alonso is asking for. Right now, he's the one who has to get the Chelsea project off the ground, because if we really think about it, if a club changes coaches it's because there's a new project and it should be supported, you can't be half-hearted. That's what has happened in many clubs, that they don't do enough to please the players the coaches ask for and then they have to work miracles with the players they have, putting them in positions they don't play.

That can only come to pass only if they give him the time needed, because we have known Chelsea and it fans to be an impatient people, Xabi Alonso is a good coach no doubt but I don't expect him to start winning just this coming season, at least now that no good player is willing to come to the team, he should at least manage to get them back to the top four, then uper season he can get the players required to win the trophies, but don't be surprise if he fails to win them anything this season they might end up sacking him, and that is not really helping the team in any way.

I still fell like Chelsea can still sign another striker if the right opportunity comes up tho Joao Pedro is a also a good player when it comes to the forward game but he needs an assistant in the game of course he did well when he played for Brighton, Hove Albion F.C, Watford F.C and Fluminese F.C and he is also doing well in Chelsea but I think he need an assistant very good striker who can assist him in the midfield and if the club can add more good centre forward, like Osimhen would actually make sense. And as for Xabi Alonso, he is at Real Madrid, not Chelsea, so he wound nowt have any say over whatever Jao Pedro does.

Yes, Xabi Alonso has a lot of work to do but we can see that they are willing to sell one of their centre backs, Trevoh Chalobah, to the Italian club. You can see that although they have a few good players in their club, some players have already left the club which has reduced the quality of their squad even more, Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez were very valuable to Chelsea so I think if these players were able to play under Xabi Alonso in the upcoming season then maybe Chelsea would have become unstoppable in the upcoming season but it seems that those players are now joining other clubs, so this manager will have to take the responsibility of building a good team in the upcoming season.
