It's not a real test for Manchester City. Coventry is newly promoted team and they are just experiencing the EPL lol ! The real test will start when they face Manchester United and then on the next match day week Liverpool pool and in the same week they are facing the European gaint PSG in UCL. Then everyone belive Manchester City under Enzo Maresca are working otherwise it will be flops project this season they sell all their experience player so do you think the new players will give you glory I don't think soo they need to adopt the system and all of that Enzo Maresca tactics is very important they have a big media pressure to be the next Pep replacement and that's thr big question but we will get the answer very soon.

The first few minutes of the game have been all about Coventry City, Manchester City seems to be making numerous mistakes in this game, Coventry Should be leading in this game if they had taken their opportunities, Taiwo Awoniyi have missed a glorious chance that he is expected to convert considering the caliber of play that he was for Nothingham Forest, unfortunately he missed the opportunity, I’m expecting Manchester City to win the game, because Coventry City isn’t a match for City, Haaland is also expected to score, but I don’t know about Haaland scoring a hatrick, let’s see if Haaland gets a hatrick in the game like you have just predicted, so far after 15 minutes Manchester City haven’t had an opportunity on goal.

It would have not prevented the wining for Manchester City if Taiwo Awoniyi had scored from the opportunity because it was this match I have seen the possession percentage I have not seen in other match since the beginning of the season, Manchester City literally have full control of the match and the one goal of Manchester city wasn't enough to equate there control against Coventry, and it was Haaland that scored the goal, so if you are thinking about his possibility of hard trick in the match, of course he could do it if Manchester City control and chances increases on the second half.

Man City had dominant possession in this match, but unfortunately did not make many final attempts. Now the second half has reached the 60th minute, they need to create more chances and accurate finishing. I think they should have been able to score more than 3 goals in this match.

I never doubted Manchester City, I knew they are going to win the match because they dominated the game from the beginning as they dominated the match, their main problem is that their new signings are yet to be used to the team, they need some time to adapt to the new players because I saw Enzo in the match, he is doing really well in the match, but the Coventry City defense is also strong, and Frank Lampard is trying to get their first premier league win, and it seems difficult for them because they are already losing the match, if the lose the match, it will make it three consecutive defeats in the premier league, they will struggle to survive because they don’t look ready for the premier league.

Newcastle United managed to secure a draw with a last-minute goal, but in my opinion, they should have come away with a win from this match. After all, Newcastle United was playing at home, but they didn’t play as if they were at home throughout the game. They should be grateful to have earned a point from this match. At least they secured a draw with the goal they scored in the 88th minute and remain unbeaten for three straight matches. In my opinion, Bournemouth deserved to win this match. They were very close to securing their first win today, but it didn’t happen. They’re still playing pretty well following the coaching change.

What a horrible Manchester City we have today! It's still 1-0 against one of the worst teams in the league now and the match is even at Etihad!  Tongue

I can't say the number of chances they've found is satisfying enough... They also let Coventry come more than it needs to be despite the huge ball possession gap.

In short Maresca is still trying to apply his game plan properly so there are ups and downs. Let's see how much it'll take him to be more consistent.

I still can’t get it with Tottenham, how can you have such quality on your side and still struggle to win games. They have been horrible all afternoon and at the end I won’t be surprised to see Nottingham forest pick all three points. My question remains is it that they are struggling to digest what the manager is teaching them or the problem is from the manager itself.

So far, if they can get a point in this game it would be one point in 3 games for them, which is very bad, considering the amount of money they have spent this summer. Aside just them being unable to win games, they even struggle to create chances. Well I won’t be too quick to judge but I don’t think they will get all 3 points in this game.

No one would argue that Tottenham played poorly today, but it’s a bit hasty to pin the entire picture on the head coach based on just three games. A new system, new signings, and a new playing style don’t click overnight.

What really matters is not just the score, but how the team develops. If, in a few weeks, they’re still struggling to create scoring opportunities, link up in attack, and control matches, then the head coach will need to be seriously questioned.

Your predictions about this match was correct. Tottenham draw 0-0,so the match played exactly as you predicted earlier. Tottenham performance is in shambled, they're aren't playing like a team who has been through alot and want to improve this season. They have splash millions on players alone yet they performance is still low. It seems the coach doesn't know why he was hired, perhaps he is simply incompetent, maybe he lack the managerial ability to mange his players. Because if he can't manage his players then it means Tottenham is about to experience the worst season in their history.

The withdrawal syndrome is gonna take a while for Man City. I was very surprised when someone in here wrote that the current Man City is as strong as ever today...

Manchester City secure this Victory but not as easy as we all thought, yes the only thing that matters is for Manchester City to take is 3 points And which they did, immediately I'm noticed there open it and with the way the opponent play against arsenal, I was having confidence that Manchester City will score as many goals as Arsenal or even more, but unfortunately they found it very difficult to even score against them after scoring at about 26 minutes. We shouldn't underestimate any Premier League club because of how dangerous they are, no one expected that this match will end like this due to their previous matches.

Exactly, I expected them to struggle a little bit this season because of the changes in the team but after the first week game and that of last week, I had a second thought because it was looking like they also made good replacements for the players were sold, I think Ryan Cherki is a perfect replacement for Benardo silver and Enzo Maresca was an assistant coach at the Etihad before he got the job at Leicester city then Chelsea, so he’s quite familiar with the team and should not face many challenges as a total stranger. The only thing i think is missing is the perfect replacement for Rodri, and I don’t Think Manchester City did any signings to replace him. Enzo fendandez is definitely not a replacement for him. They will struggle with that position until that is being resolved, however you don’t expect a team to score many goals every week so I think the 1-0 is also not a bad result, the important think is getting the whole 3 point even in a tight match like this.

Barnes played brilliantly today and it was from his shot that was block that gave Ramsey the opportunity to net the post for that equalizer.

Honestly, I also thought that Bournemouth would win the game but that dying minute goal proved me wrong and prevented Bournemouth from getting all three points. A good one from Newcastle.

Manchester city controlled the ball to the end, yet they scored only 1goal, should we say it is hard luck maybe it is, the shorts on target was Manchester city 4, Coventry 3, which proved that Coventry also made almost equal atempt as the host did to score, but to to no avail, I was not expecting that match to end 1:0, Is expected more goals from Manchester city, as a bettor who placed a better on multiple goals, I thought more goals will come from the side of Manchester, the result of the match proved to that, if Manchester city was not able to score a goal in the first half, the match would have ended as a baren draw, no doubt Manchester city was better when compared to their visitors, the fact remain that, they did not find it easy to score more goals.

Tottenham Hotspur is a big mess, and I believe this goes beyond the management. They have tried to change managers a few times, and it hasn't worked to their wishes, has it?
I think they are going to continue struggling even in this season despite spending good sums of money on signings. Three games in, and they're already in a relegation battle. This doesn't look good at all!

They played at home but didn't play like the home team because they allowed Bournemouth all the chance and time to cause problems which they did so in my opinion Newcastle got lucky to get that draw and was due to the home advantage. Bournemouth played better in the first half but relaxed a bit in the second half and gave Newcastle room to equalize. A draw is not bad for both sides but Bournemouth would have preferred to not concede late and end up winning the game.

It was an interesting game, I was really impressed with Alex Scott and wished Chelsea succeeded in signing him. Kluivert did well also and Ramsey for Newcastle did well too. Wissa played fine but couldn't get a goal. Both teams are still struggling a bit because of some changes in the squad and coach.

Just watching Man City vs Coventry, still 0-0 at the moment but if there was one fixture this weekend you’d bet your house on (if you had to) then this is it.

Haaland will probably score 3 Cheesy
Mere looking at this fixture, it's one to easily predict how Manchester City will pour goals. The Manchester City of 3 - 4 years ago would have easily done this but things are way different now. After the first goal, I was actually expecting more even though it's not compulsorily from Haaland but from other players, I was disappointed to still see the scores the way I left it earlier on. This was supposed to be an easy win coupled with ov 2.5 but it is what it is. This match will definitely put a dent on some people's coupons because I'm not sure people will just play Manchester City to win alone considering their small odd.

Seeing the final score I was really shocked and surprised because who would have thought just a goal would come out of such game, regardless bettors would probably be more disappointed but the very least City got all three points and that's fair yet still questionable because can they keep winning like this?

I feel this season is just too difficult in someway and some big times haven't been able to find a balance especially after manager changes.

I still can’t get it with Tottenham, how can you have such quality on your side and still struggle to win games.
With the amount of money spent by Tottenham during the transfer window, I don’t even believe the season will start and Tottenham performance is going to be  terrible. Tottenham have played 3 matches already, but the funniest part is that they have not been able to get any win this season.

Tottenham is just having 1 points this season, it’s really a terrible performance from them, and I don’t even know if their performance is going to improve. Spending so much on player’s, and there is no improvement in the team, I just hope Tottenham are not going to relegate this season.

They have been horrible all afternoon and at the end I won’t be surprised to see Nottingham forest pick all three points.
I knew Tottenham won’t won’t be able to win Nottingham forest, I wasn’t even expecting draw in the match, I was thinking Nottingham forest will get a win, due to Tottenham’s performance in their previous matches, and Tottenham struggled to get a draw today. I just hope their performance is going to improve.
