Seeing the final score I was really shocked and surprised because who would have thought just a goal would come out of such game, regardless bettors would probably be more disappointed but the very least City got all three points and that's fair yet still questionable because can they keep winning like this?

I feel this season is just too difficult in someway and some big times haven't been able to find a balance especially after manager changes.

A first half goal from Manchester City was really a sign and convincing one that many goals will be coming out from this game, I am also surprised that the game ended in this manner without them adding another goal. Manchester City is really a very strong team and I feel they’re also still trying to put themselves together this season.

They have a very good squad and keeping up with this type of performance will really help them to be better than they are now. We have actually got to see a tougher challenge than this one for them and they always come out better, but I feel they also lack the conversion rate on goals which has really affected them to be ending the game like this. What a horrible Manchester City we have today! It's still 1-0 against one of the worst teams in the league now and the match is even at Etihad!  

I can't say the number of chances they've found is satisfying enough... They also let Coventry come more than it needs to be despite the huge ball possession gap.

In short Maresca is still trying to apply his game plan properly so there are ups and downs. Let's see how much it'll take him to be more consistent.

I think Enzo Maresca is waiting to Enzo Fernandez to adopt the system and the only guy is missing from the Maresca team is Enzo.When Enzo step in to the pitch and are gonna see totally different Manchester city and this Enzo is same role as kdb have and I have not doubt they can perfectly replace the KDB place they are versatile kinda player which can set in every position and maybe Maresca can use Enzo as a Rodri replacement because they are missing also the rodri place.

it's about few minutes into the end of the first half, And just as you said it, Erling Haaland did score, got an account opening goal for Manchester city, and I do see more goals pouring in this game. It will be interesting to see how many goals Coventry will be conceding in this game.

I knew you had in mind for goals to start pouring in after Erling Haaland scored early in the first half. Unfortunately, this is not the same Pep City you used to know. I judged them wrongly.

Still doubtful seeing hull city show this undisputed performance in there first three leg of this season, at first it was an unpredictable defeat to Manchester united and today its a draw against Aston Villa and know one knows what tomorrow would be because if they could continue with such consistency I would boldly say they will do perfectly well in this seasons campaign.
Honestly speaking am impressed by there performance this season and will not stop praising them for there good works. From what am seeing its clear this season will end well for them

If not for Haaland presence in Manchester City, I will doubt every move Maresca is going to make that will make the team to succeed. So unexpected but they are certainly killing it in the EPL even though they only recently got promoted. This was one team that I’m quite certain would have being taken for a ride by most of the elite teams in the EPL but, with this kind of performance, you’ve just got to bring your “A” game to the pitch because, Hull City ain’t playing. They are determined to keep this up for a long time and are actually doing it. There win against Manchester United was the start and I don’t think they would take a loss to any team that didn’t end in the top 4 or 5 last season, at least at this start of the season.

I supported them since the season started, after seeing what they can do, although they missed opportunities, which i felt a little disappointed in them. Hull City would have been on another three points if they had scored, still not a bad position after week three.

With the kind of attack Chelsea is having this season, no matter how strong their opponents defense could be, they going to concede goal. Chelsea is having a very strong attack which everyone is just kind of scared of, the only problem they having right now is their poor defense, which I know if they play against hull city, Chelsea is going to concede also in the match, but I don’t even think hull city defense can stop Chelsea from scoring in the match.

Though I expected Man city to win by a bigger margin since they faced a newly promoted side, but seeing them winning by a goal is not a surprise to me. Right from the time of Pep, Man city is known for playing possession game, they are ready to pass the ball for a whole half until they find space to attack. After looking at the stats, I knew City pulled up with this tactic. City played 770 passes, while Coventry only made 200. This stat only should tell you that City were no longer interested in scoring, they just held onto the ball till the final whistle. I would say, the Coventry defence was too strong I guess, that was why City preferred holding the ball instead of attacking.

City played well today, the new signings also turned up as well. It think Enzo Fernandez and Anderson will be a big boost in this City team, they were outstanding today. I know Maresca is still trying to balance the team, and by the time he's done,  Man City will be good as new.

€366m wasted on so many flop players, yet in result Spurs is not even winning a single game from their last three games. The thing that makes it sounds horrifying is that they're still goalless. Can you imagine a club that wasted almost €370m, but unable to score a single game against mid table teams as their opponent?
They are just repeating the same patter like when they competed for the relegation zone. So they will again compete for the relegation zone against the mediocre clubs.

The new coach and new players are not solving their porblems. Too many backpass, and most of players also have very low work rate by always standing over the ball instead of give some creativity. They also have no clue how to do break the line passes.

I hafta bet on them to be relegated at the end of season following how poor their performance. I'm not expecting their shitty performance to improve in the next games. No players on their side can play the ball. They won't save from being relegated this season. Is there someone else who also believe this awful club to be relegated?

Today the best player of that match should be donnarumma because of not for his spectacular saves that match would have been a different story, Manchester City was rather lucky today.

Enzo Fernandez didn't have a bad game today, but I don't have much to say about him, he tried, the person contaminating that attack has to be foden, his performance today was so bad, if he continues like this I hope they will benc him for straight 5 matches

This is exactly my thought. I had no doubts about Manchester's win and placed the bet on them, but with this 1-0 score they were treading on very dangerous ground, especially in the last 10-15 minutes of the match when Coventry City were attacking desperately. Nevertheless, win is a win and my bet paid off, slightly increasing my bankroll which was depleted over the World Cup.

Hull City are looking like a team that would stay up in the Premier League, but I doubt they’ll finish in the Top 10 of the Premier League, they have a very good defensive organization, sooner or later they’ll start conceding goals and loosing games for fun, it’s just an ordinary good game run they’re having, they made some good Premier League signings, which is why they’re having a good results at the moment.

Actually I was expecting them to beaten by Aston Villa, but fortunately for them, they had a good performance in the game and kept a clean sheet from playing a good game of football.

Honestly it’s really tough time for the spurs and their fans, after the transfer they did this summer, I was expecting a better version of them. but with the first three games they have played I don’t think this team is ready to challenge for anything at all this season. apart from the fact that they have failed to score at least a goal this season, it’s even more concerning because all the teams they have played against are not among the the top teams, and there was no any positive result from any of the match. Starting a sea with 2 losses in a row and following it up with another 0-0 draw is definitely a bad one for a team that spent so much on players during the summer transfer. I don’t know what is really wrong with the team, when you look at the players in the team you’ll realize they have individual quality but they are yet to link up to make a good team and that’s why I think they are struggling at the moment. I will not want to watch spur in the relegation, they have been part of the big six in the recent years but it’s looking like a different things now for them.

Unless the game exposes Chelsea's absolute inability to hold against Arsenal (which, imho, isn't happening) the match barely matters in the long run.
