At the end of first half, both teams were not able to score a goal. On points table both teams are very close to each other and that is why this game is important for both teams to improve their ranking on points table. Man City and Gunners have already started the season with 4 straight wins and if any other club want to join them then the only way is by winning the upcoming matches. I will wait till week 10 before I will pick top 3 or 4 teams that have chances of winning this season.

And at the moment, it's obvious that Brentford have won this game, because i doubt if Chelsea will be able to score a single for this remaining few minutes till the end of the game with the way they are playing. However, Brentforf have just skyrocked to the 3rd place on the league table right now by scoring this goals.

I don’t know why Alonso isn’t recognizing the potential of Estevao in that Chelsea squad. I get it that, his got to prioritize Neto in this regard but, he really should let results dictate here. Even Vini’s position in Real Madrid now is in contest with the arrival of Diomande, that’s what results can do and you don’t need a whole season to come to terms with that.

Estevao knows how to break into the oppositions defense line, more than we can say for Neto that depends on his pace which Estevao has hit too and hasn’t really hit what it takes to dribble his way through. He’s just the man that can help supply those balls to the trio in front.

I am not sure if you watched the match, but the result was actually the opposite of what you think. Chelsea got thumped by 3 goals to 0. Their defending is so horrendous, and I don't think Alonso is going to provide any quick solution. I think you have noticed that even in the matches they win, they sort of concede so many goals. Emiliano Martinez is not helpful in between the posts. My guess is that Xabi Alonso is going to get sacked before the season even ends.

Chelsea suffered two defeats in the matches they played and did not get off to a good start in the league. I had expected a strong performance from them in this match, but Brentford gave Chelsea no chance on their home turf and secured a 3-0 victory. Brentford remains unbeaten in the league and is performing well. I had thought this match would end in a draw, but Chelsea is not playing well, and they aren't showing promising signs for upcoming matches.

Brentford has recorded three draws, and the points dropped in those games were not ideal for them. I believe they will continue to play well in the coming weeks.

Can't agree more. I think Alonso is intentionally letting Estevao sit out on the bench and not selecting based on results. We've all seen the fire in him, the qualities he posses and his capabilities, it's pretty certain he'd be more valuable and influencial than Neto so why is he not getting enough minutes. I pretty much agree that Neto hasn't been useful offensively and Chelsea isn't a small team to make defending top priority so I no reason why Estevao should always be left out when he could make the difference.

Honestly Alonso has a strong team and most of his problems are due to injuries and unavailability of certain players. Would've been a different outcome if Caicedo and James is available in the midfield and Joao Pedro as well. No excuses but this Alonso team is a still a work in progress and with several players absent I don't blame him much, I only blame him for leaving out Estevao from the squad. He was our brightest player last season and deserves better treatment. From seeing the lineup, I knew there was a problem for Chelsea.

At least Manchester United came started the season rolling on the pitch for the likes of Hull City. Chelsea came with padded shoulders as though, it was going to be their season and we wouldn’t find them nowhere except in the top 4 all season round and then this.
Holding out a first half draw only to come conceding 3 goals in the second half! What’s there to say of this Chelsea team though. They did all the signing and got what could have being the strongest attack in the premier league as it stands but, it’s being so unproductive as we have it.

There are some outgone players that shouldn't have left without a proper replacement and we are suffering from it and one is Andrey Santos while Enzo Fernades replace was an unfortunate one.

The fact that Moise Caceido is not ye t back is a serious issue and now we can see how difficult our frontline can be when one of our three star men are missing in a tight game. The game is an eye opener of how far behind we are still currently and needs to do more overall.

Not at all, I wasn't drunk or joking when I made that post, it was an error from the app I used. Few weeks ago, an ad popped up and automatically downloaded itself on my phone, just maybe I had mistakenly granted it that permission to download because I know I didn't download any match update app lately. Since it was all about football updates, I allowed it and even signed up to it. Last week I was watching a match and it an update came through, it was a match I was watching Liverpool but the score were different. Home team scored but the away team was awarded the goal but later on it was corrected. That's exactly what happened again in this very match. It has earlier updated me that Chelsea won 3 - 0 and since it's a match I wasn't watching, I couldn't have known it's actually the reverse. It's my bad though, later on they updated it again, I guess the app has lots of glitches, but regardless, I have uninstalled it from my phone. I will stick to the other match apps that I know.

The massive injuries happen to Chelsea makes them worsen. Look at the line up, they missed many of their players, which is their main problems. No solution for this because their B team is not that depth. The rotation won't help them a lot due to the lack of quality from their secondary team.
The most interesting fact is they're a club with most conceded goals this season. It's truly exposing how garabge their team is. They might get some luck because their attackers could score a lot in the last games, but it's not happening anymore when one of them face injury.

They played 4 backs last season, and they got bad result. So dropping it to the three backs is worsening it now. They have no midfielders the whole season nor defense. It's more like they're only relying upon their attackers to win the game.
Believe me, they won't step up until they get proper midfielders and defenders to play, and they need a lot of players in both positions.

Chelsea poor form against Brentford, I am not saying this too strongly because the team saw several attacking attempts in the first half and I thought they would compete in the match but Chelsea could not continue any attacking effort in the second half. On the contrary, Brentford's attacking players pressed Chelsea's defense hard. Chelsea have been conceding excessively since the beginning of the tournament, they have conceded a total of 12 goals in 5 matches. For any team to get good results, that team's defense has to be strong. I do not want to compare Chelsea's team with Manchester United right now, Xabi Alonso can probably take the team to a better position, give him more time to strengthen the team.

I totally agree on the argument Manchester United is as bad as Chelsea. However, Manchester United is still conceded less compared to Chelsea. They're quite good in defending, and it becomes the point they must be rated slightly better than Chelsea.

If MU only has its defense as their problem, but the complexity in Chelsea is far worsen than it. Chelsea has only their attackers who still exist while the rest totally disappear on the pitch.

The 3-0 lost against Brentford is the eveidence how Chelsea is regressing only in matter of days. I believe it won't be fixed shortly though Xabi aware about all problems in his club but he can't have good solution because lack of healthy and quality players in his squad.

I would be also feel so confusing if i were Xabi. It's because i have to survive with non quality players while all of quality players can't play.
