Tottenham 2 - 3 Aston Villa

Tottenham were playing at home, while Aston Villa arrived on a four-game winless streak. It was a prime opportunity for Tottenham to secure their first victory, but instead, they suffered another defeat. This loss extends their winless run to five games meaning Tottenham have yet to win a single match in the Premier League. I find myself wondering if this will be yet another season where Tottenham fans have to watch their team fight to avoid relegation.It seems the manager hasn't learned from last season, he failed to make good signings, and as a result, Tottenham are in a bad state this season

They really needed to maintain that strategic discipline before signing any player. You know, the committee made strict, the SCR rule which limits a club's spending to 70% of their total revenue so even if the club needed to sign more, they couldn't afford to make mistakes or go for players that were originally not part of their target list. That being said, it looks like this season will be no better than the previous one for them.

Brighton 3 - 0 Arsenal

This is the match that cost me my bet; I had wagered on an Arsenal win or draw, thinking it was a safe bet, so I sat down to watch the game. But I have to admit, it was one of the worst Arsenal performances I’ve seen in their last 20 matches. The players didn't seem motivated; they barely attacked, and the defense was constantly making errors.

Perhaps I knew something like this could also happen to Arsenal. Chelsea lost 3 points by a huge margin, same with Tottenham but the goals can count. If United loses against Fulham tomorrow, then this is obviously a losing streak for the 'big boys'

The results of this round were disastrous for some teams and managers. I’ll start with Tottenham; even though I’ve discussed them a lot already, there is still more to say and unfortunately, it’s not good news.

This is the match that cost me my bet; I had wagered on an Arsenal win or draw, thinking it was a safe bet, so I sat down to watch the game. Pretty surprising results today in the premier league. I didnt expect that Arsenal and Tottenham would both lose today. Arsenal got hammered by Brighton and everyone lost their bets who picked Arsenal to win,good thing for me is that i picked over 2.5 goals and got that easily in the end.

Tottenham on the other hand is in a really bad shape and they play good but once they concede the first goal its over for them.

Arsenal won 4 of their matches we know, but loosing a match that everyone thought they will win is crazy, Arsenal.lost against Brighton with 3 gaols without them scoring anyone is crazy, I just hope this is not a sign of slump from Arsenal they shoild better wakeup amd do the needful in the league.

We all know football is full of surprises but how can they loose to Brighton with 3 gaols, that is what keep surprising me, I expected them to win this match honestly and they fail me.

Oh man, nothing gave me joy today as much as Arsenal losing 3 nothing. I first assumed they would do a miraculous come back, I don't know but I was expecting it at some point, maybe the players would adjust after the first goal or the second but Arsenal's defence just kept leaking. It genuinely felt like Raya lost his confidence mid game and he struggled throughout to get it back. To be fairs I'm not going to judge their season based on just 1 matc, let's see how they perform going forward and as for Tottenham, I don't think that club has it anymore, I mean Tottenham is usually part of the big 6, I know it's not just them but Tottenham losing to a struggling team on home turf is just crazy honestly

I'm not sure why so many people dislike Arsenal; I don't know what we've done wrong, and there's no way we're going to win every game. Sometimes we'll lose, and that's exactly what happened with Brighton. I wasn't happy, but that doesn't mean I'm not proud of the club, so there's a difference. I know a lot of people are upset because they lost their wagers on Arsenal to win, but they don't realize that I'm proud of my boys and hope for a better game the next time. When it comes to arsenal they should allow us breath we are trying our best and it is better that way.

I thought that Brighton to win Arsenal was the craziest game I played today, All may games was going well until I had to rethink my decisions on betting on Hull city to win Newcastle I knew that game was fishy, but based on Hull City's recent performance I tough they could pull up some miracle but they couldn't and I lost money 

I bet on Brighton to win Arsenal because I believe Brighton are one of the best in possession games in the whole of Primer League, and for some reason I don't like Arsenal so I was kind of biased in the bet and that one went well.

I would say that I am not quite surprised about the results that came from this two matches. For Tottenham, there game was against the fellow struggler Aston Villa who had never won a premier league game this season but I had my prediction for Aston Villa win or draw because their previous games they were much better than Tottenham. Personally I think De Zerbi had to actually change any playing style he should currently exploring options because to be sincere because this current one are not working

Arsenal were very poor today in play, and It happens like that in football, once in a while, where a top team that performs on a normal, goes on to under perform below expectations. The good thing for Arsenal is that this their poor performance is not at a point in the season where they cannot recover or at the title defining position in the league table because as it stands at the moment they still are the favorites to win the Premier league again. Brighton are a very good attacking side and they showed it again, A lot of respect to the scouting team of Brighton because the way they manage to sell off players and then replace them back while still playing good football is remarkable.

There are a lot to talk about, but I must first blame the manager for changing the formation he used before this match, he don’t trust Miles Lewiskeley to play this match for him, he decided to play Declan Rice and Burno Gumeress; that combination wasn’t good because their communication wasn’t fine and that’s how Brighton got chances and make the match difficult for Arsenal to control, and they used the opportunities they got to win the match. Arteta need to wake up and set his team well if he wants to win the league this season because there are lapses to solve.

Arsenal misjudged Brighton potential. The Arsenal coach make the game look easy for Brighton. A game full of less physicality and more of tactical brilliancy. The Brighton coach outsmart the Arsenal coach. It got to the point where the Arsenal coach got confused. Yes, Skelly and Rice paring is strong. The two of them understand each other. Rice know when to progress the ball and when to fall back. Skelly know when to progress and when to fall back. The Rice-Guimares pairing wasn't working for Arsenal. Brighton control the game and won.

Arsenal fans never saw it coming, the loss came as a surprise. But I don’t understand why people are feeling disappointed with Arsenal for losing to Brighton yesterday, because things like this do happen in football sometimes. I know arsenal ruined many people’s tickets but that’s not the end of the world , provided you gambled with an amount of money you could afford to lose. There is also not point blaming Arteta, arsenal just lost for the first time since the season started. It seems the corner kick strategy isn't working for Arsenal this season, nothing really worked for Arsenal today against Brighton who were by car the best team amongst all English premier League teams that played today.

The worst of the round until now is between the Chelsea team who lose badly against Brentford and, the Spurs, they spend a ton of money for nothing they are again more close to relegation fight than any other place, is crazy to see them again there and it seems that they cant improve.

How else do you describe a bad side in a soccer game. A team that conceded three non penalty goals and you still say they were not that bad? I have watched several football analysis online and all attested to the fact that arsenal never came prepared for the game. Look the attack, a single shot on target and only a total of few shots. I think Arsenal should be described as awful. The Brighton keeper was not very tested because the attack was bad on arsenal side. It's not about huddling ball at the midfield, how well did you go past the opponents defence? Brighton came prepared and their defence was stronger compared to that of Arsenal yesterday. This weekend is interesting and that's why I like premier league, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all received the 3 shares. There's no team to be written off in Premier League this time.

This still seems unbelievable to some Arsenal's fan till date,but you know football outcomes can't be predicted, because don't be surprised that a team in relegation standardngs can still perform better than some big teams on top 5 or Midtables. The yesterday's results would definitely be seen as an imagination to Arsenal's team, Brighton was actually not among the top 5 on the table before the mat h,they were at top Midtable and after this defeat they lifted to top 3. And Arsenal dropped points, which I know was the happiest moment for the Manchester City, so they can used the advantages and be maintaining the top table throughout the season. Tottenham is like some strange cult that’s allergic to winning anything, I don’t understand how they won the Europa League recently. That was completely out of character for them. You mentioned Mourinho, and it immediately reminded me of how they fired him right before the cup final, a match where I think he would have delivered the title for them. This season, Tottenham seems to be aiming for a third consecutive 17th place, but by the way, since the other clubs (except for the leading two) are also all bad, the season is not yet lost.

Arsenal got a bad setback, it was supposed to be a fairly easy game to win, instead I think a lot of the players who placed the bet on Arsenal to win were disappointed (myself included).
The thing that makes me think the most is the amount of goals conceded, I can understand receiving a goal for an error, but when it's 3 goals, it's no longer just a single error.
Obviously whoever plays better wins, Arsenal in this match seem to have lost all their attacking ability.
