No way! I refused to believe your first paragraph. It's like you are saying rich people goes into business because they don't like money but because they just want to make the money, that's not true. Gambling is place primary for making money, any one can change their opinion but that's the truth and nothing but then truth. However, a rich person might be playing for fun and less motivation for money like the way a poor person would have in the first place.

If the casino are doing it for free, I'm sure they would by now be out of the he business, they are there to make money because they spend money on marketing to get your attention, they pay you when you win and they get paid when you lose and that's how it work continuesly until you either win them or you lose everything to them.

Huppercase gambling is a business venture for the operators but in this context of discussion what the above statement means is gambling in the aspects of the gambler and not the casino Operator, so for the gambler, gambling shouldn't be taken as a place to make money, but where to have fun because the casino system is developed in a way that most games outcome is to favour the house that is the reason there is house edge so any gambler that takes gambling winnings as means to make money will be disappointed in the end since the outcome will always favour the casino and not the gambler.

First how do you take gambling as? Some people take gambling as a fun and entertaining to them, why some people take gambling as a mins of earning money while you stake your's. The major part if you're among of the ones that gambles cause you want to earn from it, then you are actually gambling cause you're running out of money.

But for me I gamble cause it feels like fun and exciting to me betting on my club, so I don't bother much if I lose cause I'm not gambling to earn for a living. I know how some countries are battling cause of their economy and their financial stability, it makes people go in more into gamblings it seems like their mins of living with the economy.

So I won't blame people who gambles cause they don't have sufficient money, I rather blame their country and economy but if gambling is your hobby then you are also gambling for an sufficient money.

I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?

People don't gamble because what they have is not enough for them, gambling is not only about sufficiency as the person that your engaged in the argument said, it is all about what people want, this is just a behaviour, although there are greedy gamblers who already have money and feels that they can make more money through gambling.
There are rich gamblers and they don't come open to tell us that they are gambling thats why it looks as if they are few.

 sincerely many rich people we see today are gamblers, they donate money to charity and also do other meaningful things but they gamble, why thing we should know is that rich people have a high stake on a small odd, they even understand gambling more than poor and average people is just that their approach towards gambling is different.
