So this is what I like Inoue vs Casimero, biggest fight next year.

Inoue has not option now. Only Casimero the remaining Filipino fighter that he has not beaten yet. As per his record, he already beat 7 Filipino boxers, that includes Tapales on their last ifght, so if he wants to slay more, he need to add Casimero in the list.

I'm wondering what will be the betting odds when this two will face, I'm sure Inoue is still heavily favored, but I doubt he'll be -800 same with the odds we can get againts Tapales.

Tapales survived the first round, it was very slow, but we can see the speed and power of Inoue already.

Marlon is very cautious in the first round and I think he slip just one left counter, so I give the first round to Inoue obviously.

More movement in round 2, I think both are settling down, Tapales though slip. Just observed the feet.

Edit: Tapales down in round 4.

All Inoue show for now, hope it will last 8 rounds. Seems the punches of Tapales never hurt Inoue so I think in the third quarter, Inoue will throw all he got to knockout Tapales here.

Edit: round 10 KO win for Inoue, he was just too powerful for Tapales' defense. The consolation here is that i won my bet of over 7.5.
excited now about what's next for Inoue, will he move up again to the featherweight division and conquer the 130-pound category.

Congrats to your bet, but yes it was all Inoue show, Tapales didn't offer that much resistance, but at least going 10 rounds against the Monster is the best that he can do. Featherweight division? yes, I think he can go there without any problems whatsoever. Vargas will be happy to give him a fight and but his belt on the line to test Naoya Inoue.

I'm not sure 130 lbs, currently we can only hope that he will be boxing for many years and conquer at least 1 or 2 divisions north of his current weight class. I think he should target about Filipino in Casimero. We want to test and see how Casimero's power will do against the iron chin of Inoue.

But what can he got from Casimero? Nothing right so for sure he will not be on list because Inoue camp and promoters always going after for big fight and maybe we can see him go up rather than fighting Casimero. If Casimero can get something from him then provably they will make it happen since I believe Inoue is also want to destroy Casimero since he is angry on his noise and taunting on social media. But Inoue's camp is smart and they always think what best for their fighter.

But if the fight against Inoue and Casimero will really happen I think Casimero don't have match on Inoue since first the main problem with this guys is lack of stamina and for sure Inoue's speed and power will be huge advantage with that.

Inoue would not be getting anything as he is already the undisputed champion, if he win, that's just him successfully depending his belt. Although Akhmadaliev now has the better ranking as he is considered the mandatory challenger, but if you will compared Akhmadaliev fights to Casimero, the latter obviously has more quality fights, so that alone is enough reason on why fans would love to see the fight.

Then Inoue has a more easier way of winning the fight. When Casimero beat Tete, Inoue didn't fight him, and now that his performance has declined, maybe he'll grab the chance of fighting him so the speculation will stop about him and Casimero.

excited now about what's next for Inoue, will he move up again to the featherweight division and conquer the 130-pound category.

According to Inoue during his interview in the ring after the fight, super bantamweight will be his weight division for now. He also mentioned that there was a rumor he cannot confirm because the fight is still being negotiated. However, the rumors are his next opponent might be Luis Nery in Las Vegas. Another rumor is saying that it will be John Riel Casimero.

I am wishing for this to be John Riel Casimero hehehehe but I speculate that this will Luis Nery to prepare Inoue's entry for boxing in Las Vegas.

The closest match up to happen is Luis Nerry since he is more valuable opponent to defeat unlike any other so I believe he will be the next target to defeat by Inoue next year. If we talk about rumor regarding on Casimero and Inoue fight I guess this is far to happen since there are so many chance that they could make this fight to happen but it seems there's people influential people doesn't make this fight to happen since there's nothing to get from that fight on side of Inoue. But same as other fans I really want the match up between Inoue and Casimero to happen since this could stop the speculation of many fans if Casimero could really defeat Inoue and they could stop anything heated argument regarding on who's more stronger among them.

I don't think though that Nery is the man that can defeat Inoue. But he is more of a complete fighter as let's say compare to Casimero. But I think Casimero has more power and he bring his brandish style that can make Inoue wanted to fight him more. Bring the best of Casimero against Inoue and for sure it is going to be a war inside the ring. Nery though is not likely going to fight in Japan as he is ban but if the fight is going to happen it should be US. But the question though is Inoue willing to go and fight outside of his Japan? But any of the 3 boxers will be a great fight for Inoue at 122 lbs.

^^ And just imagine the trash talk by Casimero, I mean he has been calling Inoue since the bantamweight division unfortunately, they haven't face in the ring yet. We don't need to discuss it though, we all know what the reason is.

And it seems that Inoue is now the Filipino torn in this division, Donaire and now Tapales, and other Filipinos that he has face before.

Maybe Casimero is the now going to stop the bleeding and put him name on the top of the super bantamweight division again.

Casimero is once again trending at least in his native country because he is known to mock and challenge Naoya Inoue. But based on their previous performances, I wonder if Casimero can even survive 5 rounds. Casimero is already in his mid-30s and his lifestyle as an athlete is not that strict which is probably the reason why he is performing below world class level.

I am not calling Inoue a thorn in Ph boxing. He's just at a different level and he is even loved and has a lot of fans in Ph. He did beat a lot from the Ph but it's the same situation with his Japanese comrades trying to block his way to greatness. The first time I heard Inoue was when he dared a Ph national champion for his pro debut. I thought, he would lose and in my mind, I was like, how dare he fight someone at that level in his first fight. The rest is history.

IMHO, Casimero is in for the money. Imagine if he gets a contract to fight Inoue then that would be the biggest purse that he will get in his entire career. Casimero is on the downslide of his career, father time is catching up on him and like you've said, his lifestyle is not like that of an elite fighter.

Inoue is Pacman reborn at least for me hehe. If he could climb up two more weight divisions where the money is flowing, Uncle Bob will be more than happy to support on his cash cow.

We all know that, but at least Casimero would be a deserving challenger compared to the challengers that are lining up to fight Inoue, those that are in a higher standing, they are all the same. Casimero loves to take against Inoue and even against his fellow Filipino boxer, so I think once and for all, it's time for Inoue to accept the challenge and see if he can shut Casimero up.

Now, I'm pretty interested on what type of fighting style could beat Inoue.
I think that one fighting style could beat him are those with accuracy hooks and has foot work too. I can see his calmness while he's beating Tapales and have a lot of opens. While Tapales, he has to improve his foot works because that will help him to cope up with Inoue's speed. Some say that it should be Tank Davis that will be able to beat him but he won't go to the US and will only fight his title defenses on his main land, Japan. While many fans and countrymen say that it's going to be Casimero that will be able to beat him but with his style, I don't think that Casimero will survive and he might even get knocked on earlier rounds unlike what Tapales did and shown that he's too sturdy despite all of those pinch hooks that have been sent by Inoue.
but how easy to find a boxer with much accuracy like pacquiao and with speed as the Flash and a punch power like Tyson? because that will surely beat Inoue as this is a true example of being a Monster inside the ring.
he just make Tapales a punching bag.

At the current division and lower, there's no boxer that could match Inoue that's why he became an undisputed champion in bantamweight and now in super bantamweight division. His next stop will be at Featherweight, which I think he can still dominate since the champions in this division are not a big names in the boxing world.

WBC Rey Vargas, IBF Luis Lopez, and Rafael Espinoza for WBO.

And even in Jr. Lightweight , he can still move and beat the Champions, but he must take it one step at a time.

It is no doubt that Inoue is literally a monster in a human form. Speed, power, foot work, all of those combined are on him. I still congratulate Tapales for facing him and how he has shown his toughness on this match and even if there are a lot of Filipinos that are disappointed with the match and can't accept defeat for our fellow countrymen. That's how boxing and any other sport is, there are winners and there are losers but that's fine. I think that Tapales did a great job and his team made him a strategy but it just didn't work against Inoue. He'll come back stronger for sure.

Yes, I myself was completely shock to see Marlon going 10 rounds, as I have said previously, 7 might be the round that Tapales will be knockout. Nevertheless, how can anyone beat that version of Inoue? He is a complete fighter now, with speed, combine with power and that footwork.

He is comfortable facing a lefty, and that foot placement, we can see it throughout the fight. If Marlon could have more power or more more head movement, it might end up in the judges scorecard by I think the result will be the same.
All those features of Inoue are truly making him unbeatable and formidable. And those that are too aggressive are what he's liking more if ever someone is going to challenge him again. I don't think that a boxer that's too aggressive will work it out to beat his ass. He's just too good at his form right now but I think that when he becomes older, these are going to slowdown, his speed, power and IQ. But who knows if he'll retire undefeated and that's going to be in the books for real.

Maybe Casimero is the now going to stop the bleeding and put him name on the top of the super bantamweight division again.

From the previous performance of Casimero and the current Inoue, I think there is little chance for Casimero to win against Inoue.  Casimero often times becomes careless when he is engaging with his opponent.  If Inoue catches him off guard or opens, Casimero might probably kiss the canvas in their fight.

Anyway I also wanted to see these two boxers fight each other since I wanted to see if Casimero can walk his talk.

As expected, Inoue had dominated the fight against Tapales, but I am surprised Tapales is able to last 10 rounds before he give in to the punches of Inoue.

Totally surprising on what Tapales had shown and i could still say that he do able to bring up a good fight despite of being the underdog. I dont know if its just me or what but it seems that
Inoue's speed is really that becomes that less compared into that  lower division? Well, it is really that normal considering that whenever you do gain up some weight then it would really be
affecting out overall speed but not really that much. Its really always impressive on how those punches of Inoue were so solid and compact. Later rounds then
it do starts on showing about having that stamina is going down but its normal but still could be able to land up those huge blows even into those later  rounds.
What surprises me is that Tapales could be able to handle it out until 10 rounds until he hadnt been able to get up. A good fight i should say which is way more than against Fulton.

With the way he's showing his greatness, it's a tough call for anyone to challenge him, I think on his division right now after unifying
all the belts, challenger might think twice.

Though we can't remove that fact fighters always love the challenge so either top rank fighter will negotiate, or promoters will bring names
to Inoue's camp and see if which fighter will be the next one to try Inoue's greatness.

For now, let him enjoy another achievement, unifying all the belts after moving up that's really something that will remembered.

He is still at his prime years, so he can stay at super bantam and best everyone, or go to Featherweight with the likes of Vargas, a tall lanky 126 lbs champion. So that will a big test for him and let's see if he can also be as dominant as the 2 other weight class that he reign.
Right, at least 2-3 defending title fights (in 1-2 years) before he decide move a new weight division.

It's not that it will take training and conditioning, he has that already, it's more of him facing a natural bigger fighter as he moves up in division.
You know that without these 2 you can't stay long in the ring and can't stay on bigger fighters so it's really necessary. With proper training/conditioning and strategy, bigger fighter will be easier to cope. Look MP, too many fights with bigger opponents but end up dominating the fights because it all depends on conditioning. If you listen his post-interview after fighting margarito which he even amazed that he last long in the fight.

I am wishing for this to be John Riel Casimero hehehehe but I speculate that this will Luis Nery to prepare Inoue's entry for boxing in Las Vegas.

he can choose to fight Casimero first, in Japan, and if he wins again, he could proceed with his last fight in the division with Luis Nerry in Las Vegas. This Casimero fight has been long due, their trashtalking started when the fight was cancelled due to covid restrictions, but it didn't resume when everything was back to normal.

I also saw an interview from Casimero saying that Tapales knows he has no chance of winning after round one, so all he does is  just tighten his defense because that's the only way to survive longer. Casimero even mentioned that if he was there, he would be able to give Inoue a fight, he even beat one of the best bantamweight which was Tete in just 3 rounds, so he is the only Filipino who can beat Inoue.

So this is what I like Inoue vs Casimero, biggest fight next year.

Casimero was wrong, however. Marlon Tapales was trying to win the fight and had a better performance than expected. There was only 2 rounds where Tapales became more defensive. Those rounds was when he was using a philly shell and did not throw much punches. But for much of the fight Tapales tried to punch Inoue. It also appeared that Tapales could reach the decision until he was knocked out which was shocking because Tapales did not appear tired or weak.

In any case, do you know what would be better than fighting Casimero in Japan? It would be fighting Casimero in Las Vegas hehehehehe.

It's sad to think that our stony Filipino boxing fighter lost to the opponent via TKo. That means his opponent is really strong. Just kidding, I watched the fight; it was good in the first round.

That's why, when he felt the opponent's hit, his confidence to actually defeat his opponent seemed to decrease. Maybe that was the reason he reduced his momentum to beat it. But a boxing career is really not an easy sport. Many Filipino bettors must have lost in that match; this is just what I thought.

I'm not one of those bettors who lost in that fight between Inoue and Tapales as i betted for the fight to go beyond 8 rounds. There were many options on how to bet on that fight, i even posted some of it, you can see if you scroll upward.

Tapales has a good game plan but everything changed when he was hit by those solid shots of Inoue. The Japanese Monster was just in another level than that of Tapales. Casimero is again taunting him to a fight but i don't think taunting on social media won't work anymore as his latest fights were not impressive.

I do agree though, I mean after the first knockdown on round 4, we thought that Tapales is done, but look at what he did, he go toe to toe and he had some good shots, like the upper cut and that straight right hand if I'm not mistaken.

Unlike other boxers that Inoue face, when they felt the power, they just want to survived but they can't run the full 12 rounds.

12 rounds could be what Tapales wanted, but he gets tired and because he has soften up by Inoue already.
