Compared to Leverkusen and Liverpool, Liverpool will definitely be ahead because the English Premier League teams are stronger than the bundesliga teams and Liverpool have performed well against those stronger teams.

I think the two teams, namely Leverkusen and Liverpool, are strong candidates to win the UEFA Europa League. At the moment I can't choose between the two because only two matches have been played. They both have almost the same statistics. So maybe I will wait until all the matches in the group stage are finished and then we can compare the two.

Leverkusen and Liverpool are certainly the best teams in the Europa League, but if compared to these two teams, one of them will definitely be ahead and should be ahead. If we consider the performance of our league then two teams cannot be separated much but considering the quality of the league I think Liverpool should be ahead. Lukaku is familiar with both Jose Mourinho and Serie A. He did played very well for Inter Milan, won Capocannoniere personal player award years ago. He only got issues with Inter Milan when he failed in Chelsea (moved from Inter Milan to Chelsea) and moved back to Inter Milan in a loan transfer.

I believe he was not too ready since Euro 2020 that was hosted in 2021 because of pandemic. After that Euro tournament, Lukaku got problems with his fitness, got some injuries and issues with his clubs. Now in Roma, it seems he is happy and with good mentality, he is contributing well for them. Mourinho knows how to use strong strikers like Lukaku because he has worked with many similar strikers: Drogba, Eto'o, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic.

He got a good debut for Roma so far and actually helped them to improve their attacking power and ranking in Serie A. With Lukaku, Roma will have a good attacking partner for Dybala. Even Belotti and Azmoun can play together with Lukaku when Dybala is not ready but of course, with Dybala, Roma and Lukaku will get benefit from the Argentinian player's creativeness.

In defense they can relax with the return of captain Arsenic, but they have not been able to find stability in defense since the beginning of the season due to injuries. It all depends which big teams finish 3rd in the CL and drop down into the CL. Looking at this years CL though it is weak. I would only rate Man City, Bayern, Real as definitely better than Liverpool, potentially Barcelona too.

I think we are capable of winning the Europa League but it depends how serious Klopp takes it. He mixes up his selection a lot as it is not a priority. Nobody at the club is happy to be in it but it is punishment for a terrible season last season.

Tonight I expect a comfortable victory against Toulouse. The group stage is a bore, the teams we are playing are child's play. I guess this competition only gets interesting in the latter stages.
