I was very positive about Brighton to get a comfortable win over AEK to tell the truth. I don't know how they managed to play this bad. Joao Pedro was still very impressive by scoring 2 goals but there wasn't any other Brighton player performed as effective as him. It was like they weren't caring about the Europa League at all. Because they lost the match even home. They were favoured like @1.10 for the win. I can't imagine how many people lost their money because of Brighton.

Brighton were shown as one of the biggest title contenders here but after seeing this result I don't know about that. It was the easiest match of the group.

This looks like a different take on the PL game as although Brighton dominated the game, they couldn't muster much in the way of goals and ended up being embarrassed at home.
I didn't look at the betting market for this match but if the odds @1.10 offered by the bookies then it is clear that this will win on the ground, but it is different from what they expected while betting on Brighton.

This defeat will definitely be a self-introspection for them that this is also just the beginning I think Brighton in the future can correct some mistakes in its strategy.

I agree with you on this because most times the experience alone can help to win in some football matches, Brighton is a good team we have watched defeat so many big teams in the english premier league but going to the European championship they lack the experience and their opponents AEK Athens are more experienced than them because they are regular team when it comes to the Europa league.

Liverpool won 3-1 away against LASK Linz. After conceding an early goal in the first half, Liverpool managed to win with a different style of play in the second half.Liverpool equalized with Darwin Nunez's penalty goal and took the lead 2 minutes after the substitutions were made.Mohamed Salah scored the winner.Liverpool will easily come out of this group as the leader.
In the other match of the group, Toulouse managed to get a draw from a difficult away game. Toulouse, who took the lead with a penalty goal in the last minutes of the first half, could not keep the score. In minute 70, US Gilloise scored the equalizing goal.

That was a fantastic result from Liverpool's end, I had this confidence in Liverpool winning the game tonight even when they were losing 1:0 initially to their opponent, I knew they were going to come back to defeat their group contender, LASK Linz before the end of the match.  
Not only am I expecting Liverpool to top their group but also to be a team I'm looking forward to seeing in the final game of this season's Europa Cup compittion.

In these competitions seemingly weaker teams often surpass themselves and give the alleged favorites a hard time. I expect nothing but the same this time. Everyone at this point believes that Liverpool is the favorite above all others and last season everyone thought that Arsenal is the favorite above all others maybe with Juventus Turin and Manchester United. Not to forget that Barcelona was also in the competition. None of those teams made it to the final. Barcelona got kicked out in the play-offs, Arsenal got kicked out in the round of 16, Manchester United got kicked out in the quarterfinals and Juventus Turin got defeated in the semifinals. I think that is enough information as to who the favorite is this year.

I think Liverpool victory is not a fantastic victory because after all, Liverpool also only played against LASK. In addition, that LASK is also not the strongest team in Austria and thus, then Liverpool victory I think is a normal victory and not fantastic. Moreover, Liverpool conceded first in the 14th minute in the first half and I think, that result is also not a perfect result for Liverpool. You forget that there are other clubs that must also be taken into account in this competition, because there are teams that might be obstacles for Liverpool. not to mention, clubs that have dropped from the Champions League caste. In this competition, I favor Leverkusen, who will probably advance to the final round of this competition. However, on condition that their players remain fit without experiencing injury. So, Liverpool is not the only candidate to win the Europa League trophy.

In yesterday's match, Leverkusen successfully slaughtered Hacken with a score of 4-0. In the Bundesliga too, Leverkusen always wins its matches with a big score. Likewise with the figure of Leverkusen coach, Xabi Alonso, who is the architect behind the increasing performance of this Bundesliga club. So, it would be very natural if Leverkusen were also one of the challenging clubs in this competition. Except Liverpool would want to keep focus on being the champions of the Europa league they they will have to employ a strategy that will help them rest some players who would be used for that purpose while others will play In the premier league until they possibly crash out then they may have to then Channel all their focus on achieving this League title.

As far as we would like to look at the EPL as one (if not) the toughest league on the planet, I would like to add that it is so because of the type of teams that is present in the league of which, Liverpool is by far one of the very best. Now, coming to Europa which happens to be what they’ve got for now in the absence of the UCL, it’s only natural that we have a lot of expectations on them.

I expect of them to have easy games and easy wins in this Europa but, no. What we see is a struggling Liverpool, even with the top coach and world class players.
Put Manchester City in same situation and you would see a second 11 coming on the pitch yo make a huge difference. We aren’t placing expectations that is more than Liverpool can handle on them, we are simply asking them to show there worth and quality.

You are giving too much credit to Liverpool, I’m not sure why you say they are the most stable but if it was because of the comeback goals they made in the second half, I will say that I'm not impress because who is LASK Linz in the eye of Liverpool, they would have trash them in minutes of the first half but they used that to test LASK defense and work out their chances and took it in the second half until they lead with 3 goals. However, Leverkusen are the one that impress me so far since they finished groups round 1 with 4 goals lead over BK Haken.

I will still repeat it again, you are given too much hope for Liverpool, didn't Manchester United and Barcelona all here last season, did they made it to final match, I think you understood better because the recent record of Europa League favours more of underrated team in the league. I haven't seen more team that have impressed me like Leverkusen, they were here until the Semi finals before union Berlin took them out and now they are here again, don't be surprised if they make this season personal for the title because thats another tickets for free group in the Champions League next season.

I think that even though Liverpool are the favorites to win the European League this season, they will still face quite difficult matches in the future. The reason is that this is still the group stage and I'm sure Liverpool will definitely qualify, but when they reach the quarter-finals or beyond that, of course there will be difficult opponents who could stop them from winning the European League. Therefore, Liverpool must continue to prepare themselves, especially if they succeed in winning the title, they will automatically become participants again in the Champions League next season and will not need to bother thinking about the results in the domestic league to get that place. True. I remember when liverpool was winning europa league a few years ago. I think that if liverpool will repeat that moment again. My guess if liverpool was not targeting the trophy but liverpool will be trying to secure UCL spot easily once the club would be able to win europa league.
It's caused by the competition in EPL become very strict these days, Wnning europa league trophy has become the best choice for liverpool to get UCL spot easily.
Liverpool is the strongest team in europa league. There is also westham but as you can see how liverpool was able destroying westham in the last match. I don't even think liverpool will have a lot of competitors.
