Ajax sells a lot of players every off-season and it is difficult for them to constantly be at the top of the Eurocups. Brighton are also playing poorly in this group stage, but they are not only in decline in the EL, their results have also worsened in the Premier League. The match between Ajax and Athens ended a draw which I want expecting, I felt ajax was better as compared to Athens going by their H2H but then they couldn't secure complete point from them . Athens in their local league are trying but they are not in their best of form to have challenged ajax to a draw although they were at home, maybe it was the morale boost for them to make sure to secure a draw if a win isn't possible

Would Liverpool be able to maintain the lead in their group in today's game with Union Saint-Gilloise, Yes I strongly believe that Liverpool will pick a maximum of points out of this group,  and I see no team capable of stopping them, though they lost to Tottenham during their weekend clash, But I don't see that as much affecting their performance in tonight's game.

That Tottenham game is more or less a draw so I wouldn't use that as a good metric to predict Liverpool's match today with Union Saint-G. If I know Klopp, he would want to win this game especially when we have an ambitious crowd at anfield.

Money is not the motivation for the players and the coaching staff. They want to be on the continental stage and get an opportunity to shine. Besides the money from European competitions does not stop the one they get from the domestic league and with winning the Europa league thay are already guaranteed millions for just qualifying to the champions league.

There is so much at stake meaning that, any club not performing well is not for want of trying.

Gravenberch broke the deadlock for Liverpool on the 44th minutes of the game after so much effort that the players have put in to score a goal in the first half. There will be more goals in the second half from Liverpool because the the way that they played in the first half, Liverpool took possession of the game and had more chances of scoring than their visitor. It will not be a big deal if Liverpool win this match but if they loss, it will be a shameful thing for them.

After a draw in France against Marseille and a defeat at home against AEK Athens, it is impossible for Roberto De Zerbi to ignore the Europa League because this is the result of their hard work last season in the premier league. For me Brighton is not ready to play in the Europa League.

Even though Brighton is a club that plays very well in their domestic league, the atmosphere of playing in the European League will not be the same as the Premier League. Only able to get 1 point against Marseille, shows that their performance has declined since the last two matches when they were defeated by Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Although one English team that has been impressive in the Europa league has to be westham, the are the defending champions of the Europa conference league now they are actually setting their target on the UEFA Europa league .

The English team still has one more team that is impressive apart from West Ham, namely Liverpool, which is the favourite. West Ham managed to win the second match in Group A and topped the group.
Now Liverpool is playing the second match of group e and now they are leading 1-0.

This is Liverpool chance to thrashed such an average team but they've missed crucial goal scoring opportunities, perhaps it's not an easy game to humiliate an average side. Liverpool dominates all areas on the pitch in the first halve, Jurgen Klopp will not give room for doubts as he have instructed his team to punish their opponents really good. Union Saint-Gill are no match for the Reds because they're in Anfield to play a defensive game which leads to the advantage of the home team, inflicted more pressures on the visitors, I hoped they would survived this game.

Liverpool is currently leading the match with a temporary score of 1-0 until the 69th minute of the match. I see Liverpool starting this match quite well, they are able to dominate the course of this match. Playing at Anfield Stadium gave Liverpool extraordinary support from the fans present at the stadium. The course of the match was predictable, Liverpool were able to control possession of the ball and were able to fire off many shots. For the guests, they were quite under pressure in this match because Liverpool continued to put quite strong pressure in attacking which made the Royale Union players overwhelmed in maintaining their defense.
In another match, Roma appeared quite impressive in this match where they were leading 4-0 until the match entered the 68th minute. I think Roma will win this match with a big score because their opponents really weren't able to provide much resistance in this match. Victory seems to be Roma's in this match because it is impossible to turn things around for Servette in this match.

Seriously, Royale Union is giving Liverpool a tough time because I didn't expect them to end up only with a goal in Anfield in the first half because it is their home game and they always look very strong whenever they play at home. I was expecting Liverpool to finish the game for their fans in the first half by scoring many goals and substituting many of their great players in the field with an average onse against their next match in their domestic league. But in the second half, I expected Liverpool to add more goals because they were pressuring the opponent and creating some great chances.

Even before the match started, I was not expecting much from Ajax due to their current form. Ajax is a little bit weak currently, especially in their domestic league. In fact, I don't think Ajax can go far in this on-going competition, but let's see, maybe they will improve, but with that, they will even end up in this group stage.

The second half of the game is in favor of Roma, as Belloti scored an early goal in the first minutes of the second half with a shot inside the box of their opponent. Belloti also scored the 4th goal with a good header after the ball was cross out from the corner kick. Belloti scored two goals and Roma scored three goals withing 15 minutes to give Roma three points in the match. Pellegrini was the one that scored the second goal for Roma. This is a good result for Roma in UEL.
The game ended 4-1 in favour of Roma.

Yes, even though Brighton's performance can usually be better than this. Maybe the players are still not able to optimize themselves in this UEFA Eurole League match. Indeed, sometimes a club's performance can change easily and is not very consistent here. especially at the start of the match, they really weren't solid, they were even 2-0 behind Marseille. Luckily, they were able to catch up and get the final kick so the score was a 2-2 draw.
This time, the two were fairly evenly matched, but to be honest, Brighton could have been better than this. They must be more relaxed and focused in the future, so that they are more optimal for competing.

Brighton is a team with a scientific and practical playing style. But their problem is that their force is thin, with some pillars injured. The midfield, their most crucial point, has become the biggest concern. The possibility that the attacking side will have to bear the burden of defense is very high. Attacking duo Lukaku and Belotti  played well in today's match Mourinho did not use one of his weapons Dybala. Perhaps Roma's performance would have been stronger had Dybala been with the squad. On the other hand, midfielder Pellegrini came on in the second half and played brilliantly. He scored an assist and a goal in just 6 minutes.

All things considered, I'll say they tried to come from behind and get a point. Losing 2-0 at halftime away from home can be demoralizing, but they still fought hard.
Brighton plays well, they create chances and a team like that will find their footing. They're not a top table club so let's not expect them to be at the top of the table but they will surely find themselves.

They were also cautious w bit today because they play Liverpool this weekend. After being humiliated by Aston Villa, they'll want to bounce back against Liverpool, which is an even more difficult fixture.

Speaking of Liverpool, it's obvious they don't underrate Brighton that's why you can see how their squad was rotated today. They fought hard and got a goal from a rebound last in the first half and got a second late in the second half as well.
Liverpool didn't play particularly convincing, but that's because of the heavy rotation of the squad.

Roma are doing really well in the Europa League at least. Because their start to the Serie A has been really worrying so far. But they are expected to make improvement no matter what. Therefore the Europa League is also very important for them. Mourinho must be still having nightmares about the finale in the previous season.

So far they have started the group stage really strongly. I think they would finish as the leader as well. The most difficult part will be after the group stage. We don't know what teams will be coming from the Champions League too. No matter what they must be aiming the title once again.

I think one of the problems affecting the poor performance of Brighton team is lack of experience,I watch them play good football in the EPL but when it comes to the European competition they have always find it difficult to win matches, I think them coach needs to work on the performance of his team regardless of their performance in the league I think it's time they put things together since they always find it difficult to win in the European punting.
