I really liked what I saw from Leverkusen there. They played a really great football and deserved to win by even a bigger goal difference. West Ham couldn't find a way out and I don't think they can do much against a this determined team in the second leg either.

Most people underestimate Atalanta against Liverpool, even Jurgen Klopp himself allegedly underestimated Atalanta from his decision to choose the main line-up in the first half. Maybe Klopp thought that Atalanta would not play that well, but everything he thought was ultimately wrong after Atalanta won 0-1 in the first half. Klopp clearly tried to fix everything in the second half, but his plan failed because Atalanta actually scored 2 additional goals for a score of 0-3.

I agree that this is an embarrassing and disappointing result for many parties, but this is a risk that has actually been said on many occasions where it is not possible for a team to win even though they are the favorites to win. Klopp will clearly try to come back in the second leg, but that is a super difficult mission.

Liverpool was expected to win the game just because of how solid their squad is this season when I see top teams in europa league I don't really expect much from them because most times big teams like Liverpool don't take the Europa League as their major target. I think last season when arsenal was in the Europa League many thought arsenal will be the team to win the league but along the line they started performing bad. Liverpool is good they may likely start playing poor I europa league because the europa league is not their main target, it is always like that in europa league. I won't be surprised if any of the strong teams fails not winning the league title this season.

This is one of the things that made Liverpool to lose woefully yesterday they already made conclusion that they are going to win because the book markers picked them to win and since they believed that they have a better squad than Atalanta and their performance generally is much better than their opponents they didn't believe the game could turn against them but at the end they were allowed by Atalanta to have more control of the ball, posses the ball more but Atalanta made it difficult for them to penetrate their goal post from the starting of the game until the full time.

No I don't think Liverpool didn't take the Europa league seriously because they don't have any trophy at hand now winning the Europa league will be one of the best thing that will happen to them this season because they are not sure of winning the league since they have strong matches left and with the way the Arsenal team is going, they may end up winning the league that is the more reason Liverpool needs to do everything to ensure trhey get back to the game in the second leg in Italy.

I didn't watch the Milan vs Roma match yesterday, so I don't know much about the atmosphere of the match until the end. Based on statistics, Milan basically really worked hard to win the first leg match by taking 25 kicks, but they only had 5 shots on target which indicates that Milan was really bad at finishing. Milan dominated, but Roma could compensate with their best game.

David moyes' cowardly and deep defence had more to do with the statistics against west ham than leverkusen's playing strength. Even the attackers were in the middle of their own half. I'm shocked that Liverpool is losing to Atlanta. I think it will be very difficult for Liverpool to win Atlanta at home, but anything can happen, but Atlanta are the favorites of winning the game next week. If Atlanta defeat Liverpool, they will have the opportunity to qualify to the final this season with Leverkusen because I know Xavi Alonso will definitely qualify to the final because they have not lost any matches since the beginning of this season, and this weekend th Liverpool will only focus on the league if they lose their match with Atlanta and battle with Arsenal in the league if they fucked up in the Europa League, I don't think they will even win the league when arsenal are leading by goal difference already. But I think arsenal match against Aston Villa will be pretty difficult because  Aston Villa will like to end in the 4th position in the league to get the opportunity and qualify to the Champions League next season.

One thing about this European night’s football is the fact that it always comes with surprises like under dogs piping the favourites. Atlanta although in this case were underdogs but in reality they too are one of the competition favorites. Many people have piped Liverpool to the game most especially because it was Anfield, a place which is more like a fortress for them, but it happened that Atlanta was just too good in and lucky In the match to get those goals. Does Liverpool still have a chance, I will say mathematically yes they do but realistically I don’t see them pulling a comeback on this one. Three or more goals at the Atlanta home is something I don’t think they could pull out, I see Liverpool already blew this one already
