The EPL teams are getting eliminated out of international competitions by the day. Yesterday it was Arsenal and Manchester City out of the UCL, today it’s West Ham United and Liverpool out of the Europa by Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen. What’s become of EPL teams in internal competitions.

West Ham weren’t so good today, they didn’t do much to be more offensive and even so, they let loose some unbelievable chances like the ball that was sent flying by the eventually equalizing goal scorer for Bayer Leverkusen, that was a terrible chance to have been given away and he couldn’t take it but, still came back for a redemption mood and got his goal eventually.

Now Italy and Germany will retain the first two places in the UEFA club rankings and will receive 5 tickets to the Champions League, while the Premier League will remain with 4. Few people believed that all English clubs would reach the finals, but probably even fewer believed that they would all be knocked out in two days.

Bayer broke Juventus' record and I think it will stand for many years, if not decades - 44 games without defeat is incredibly difficult to repeat at the level of the top 5 leagues in Europe.

That's insane and I enjoyed following them this season a lot. This crazy mentality to not stop playing and pressing until the referee ends the game brought them so many wins in the last few minutes that what was supposedly luck ultimately turned into a reliable skill. The best part about it is that they play great football. It is not some overly strategic "score 1 goal and then defend" approach. It is pure power until the end.

But now their streak is really going through another test. Next games are against Dortmund in the Signal Iduna Park and Dortmund needs those points. Then against Stuttgart and then they can take revenge against Roma, followed by another away from home game against Frankfurt and then again against Roma.

If after all those games they are still unbeaten, I'd be speechless.

This is definitely a heavy blow to the EPL who have at least four clubs battling the last four place and the fifth place was suppose to be a gift for them but right now it’s Ovey for them. Clubs like Manchester United and Newcastle were actually looking towards snatching that place off and qualifying to the Champions League. Not only that the last place in the club World Cup has been handed over to RB Salsburg after Arsenal who were deemed to fill the last place failed to make it to the last 4 of the champions league.

Bayer Leverkusen once again showed resilience to actually got a draw in the game to keep their unbeaten alive. As the clock was wining down I thought maybe it was going to be broken but as always Leverkusen find a way in the last minutes to create history

After seeing the result of the first meeting between Liverpool and Atlanta in Anfield, I knew Liverpool will not survive it. Many people believed that Liverpool will make a miraculous comeback back as they did against Barcelona in the past, but everyday is not Xmas. I can confidently say that Klopp messed with his chances and it is very clear to him that he made wrong decisions by not taking the first leg in Anfield so seriously.

Exactly, even though Klopp made that statemen after the loss in the fist leg, that they would be able to do epic comeback. I personally doubted it. for, it's 3 goals. It's surely, difficult to pass, moreover it's in Atalanta stadium. Only a few clubs are capable of making an epic comeback of up to 4 goals, and Liverpool is not capable at the moment. not only because their opponents strengthened their defense, but also because Liverpool's attacks were less sharp. So, it's time for Liverpool to return to focusing on their rivals in the EPL, namely Arsenal and Man City, who were also eliminated from the UCL.

It's again. Xabi really could make certain surprise to anyone. But early, most people also wouldn't see Leverkusen to lose the game, at least, being drawn. And this strengthens the unbeaten record of Leverkusen.

The enxt big game will be in the semi-final between AS Roma vs Leverkusen, this will be tough enough. But, I do think that Leverkusen will also pass this semi-final. I really hoped that Leverkusen will be at final with Roma, but it'll be at semi-final.

Again, this was surprising, Liverpool managed to qualify after getting a draw against West Ham while Liverpool lost 3-1 on aggregate to Atalanta so it was official again that the club from the EPL was eliminated and did not make it to the semifinals. 

i predict that the match between Atalanta vs Marseille will be tight, Atalanta who managed to beat Liverpool is not a team that gives up easily, meanwhile for Leverkusen vs Roma, it will also be a great match, Alonso's success is in sight.

There is only 1 club left now for EPL clubs who are still competing in the biggest title and even then only in the Conference League where Aston Villa managed to qualify for the semi-finals.
Even though the EPL is quite favored but this season it seems that the bigger title is not a good season for EPL clubs after previously in the Chmapions League 2 EPL clubs were eliminated and today in the Europa League 2 other clubs are also the same fate as Arsenal and Liverpool yesterday.
Interesting now are clubs from the Bundesliga where in the Champions League there are still 2 representatives and in the Europa League of course Leverkusen who still have a record without losing where today's match even in the last minute they managed to keep their record to remain without defeat throughout this season.
In addition, if you look at the current conditions where there are 2 Serie A clubs in the Europa League, it seems that one of them is a finalist and I have a feeling that Atalanta will get that position.
Although the opponent is Benfica but their impressive and defensive strategy is quite stable for this competition.

Liverpool has lost it, this is why it is advisable for people to take their chances serious, Liverpool missed it the last  time, how would such a team like Liverpool allow their opponent to win them with such a goal gap, though it is possible for any team to be involved in such situation but it shouldn't be in a game thats crucial as that match, I expected Liverpool to close that gap that same fay but they failed to achieve and what do we expect from Atlanta, atlanta did there best to win the first leg with a comfortable goal and in this second leg they did as expected by their fans which is defending the existing goal, they qualification the qualification to the next stage and I think Liverpool should learn the next time.

The stats have been showing how strong atalanta's defensive. Liverpool could only score through penalty and im guessing that those who were betting on liverpool never be realitics. they keep being delusional by thinking liverpool could comeback like what happened against atalanta in 2020.
Atalanta was playing defensively here and it's successfully sent off liverpool to leave from the comeptition. Amazing performance from atalanta.

This is also helping atalanta to have same results as liverpool. Things are not going easy for liverpool considering the fact that if it's also in the bad position on PL. Unexpecting things to happen when liverpool's situation has been changing a lot and this brings new questions regarding how good the liverpool is.
I think that people are always over reacted with the short term good performance by liverpool. They are all bottling the chance to get the trophy again.

Here, lack of luckiness is for all Premier League clubs in Champions League and Europa League, from many matches. They must be realistic with their performances that contribute to their failures, and figure out weakness that they can improve to come back stronger next season.

Xabi Alonso and De Rossi are very young coaches and they are doing well with their clubs. A semi final meeting between two clubs and two young coaches, mean one of them will participate in Europa League final. It means a lot for such young coaches and this experience is different than final matches they played as players.

In a semi final with AC Milan hours ago, Xabi Alonso and De Rossi shown that they are very good with tactics and player substitutions to help their clubs secure advantage and go to semi finals. This will make their two semi final matches very promising for watching.

Roma delivered an incredible performance in the last game and it must be noted that if roma performed differently. Roma deserves it because Rossi implemented a defensive strategy that has greatly benefited the club and it was able beating acmilan again like the first leg and this is amazing result. Maybe people rarely talk about Roma, but this club has the potential to win the trophy this season since it was going to the final last season. The moment when Acmilan's defender goes one on one with Lukaku is funny about how acmilan's defender falling after he lost against lukaku.

No doubt, if people refer to Lukaku as a very strong guy because he has a very strong , I expect his physic to be even stronger than Haaland from Manchester City. Acmilan once again received a ba result and this may be signalling acmilan to sack pioli as soon as possible.

Time for Pioli to leave the club because he is a disaster for the club. Acmilan's performance is deteriorating even further, which is a completely unacceptable outcome.

Liverpool's elimination from the Europa League is quite shocking. Their performance was disappointing, but it's fair to say they brought it upon themselves. Losing 3-0 at home without scoring a single goal sets the stage for failure. Atalanta outperformed them in both legs, particularly in the first one. Congratulations to Atalanta for their victory.

Yeah we have guessed that Liverpool are unable to do it because Atalanta applies a super defensive game so Liverpool can't score more goals, even though we know Liverpool have tried to score until the last minute. Atalanta became the second team to take place in the semi-finals and previously AS Roma also defeated AC Milan with an aggregate 3-1 and concluded Serie A dominated the European League this season because leaving 2 teams there.

Of all the teams in the semi-finals that caught my attention is Bayer Leverkusen, this team is in the spotlight for its achievements in the Bundesliga and Europa League so the problem is whether they are able to beat AS Roma in the upcoming match? we will see the results in May and I hope Bayer Leverkusen will go to the final.

I am not interested in Liverpool vs Atalanta match. The Liverpool team was badly beaten in the home match. Liverpool lost by a big margin of 3-0. Liverpool will win 4-0 today seems very unlikely to me.

It's not about Liverpool having to make 4-0 to qualify, but atleast Liverpool can still try their best to at least be able to win with a score of 3-0 also in normal 90 minutes. If Liverpool can do this, then ofcourse the match will continue to extra time or maybe it will also continue until the penalty shootout. So yes, basically Liverpool still have a chance even though it will certainly be difficult but yes, Liverpool should be able to do it with the quality that Liverpool have because at least, Liverpool also have a good winning mentality. Therefore, this match between Atalanta v Liverpool in the second leg remains a very interesting match, because of course Liverpool will have great efforts to be able to turn things around.

Liverpool's main goal will be to draw today's match 3-3. And it is not an impossible task. Liverpool have the ability to score 3 goals against Atalanta. But since Atalanta had already won the first leg 3-0. So in today's match, Atalanta will play a completely defensive strategy. And if a team has 10 players playing the role of defender, it becomes more difficult for the opposing players to score. If Atalanta don't play defensively today, I think we will see a lot of goals in this match.

AC Milan vs Roma Both teams played well enough to enter the semi-finals. Roma in particular have been the most attacking, and they have made it through to the semi-finals with a lot of effort. Roma players were sent off after receiving a red card but they held their game strong and snatched away the win from the opposition.

West Ham vs Leverkusen saw plenty of attacks between the two teams and ended in a draw in the second leg. But Leverkusen took a two-goal lead in the first leg, which saw them draw the second leg and win by one goal to advance to the semi-finals.

Liverpool beat Atalanta in the away game thanks to a penalty from Mohamed Salah but that was the only goal Liverpool scored so it wasn't enough to get rid of Atalanta and take Liverpool to the semi-finals. Liverpool looked less enthusiastic after losing in the first leg by a big score and didn't have any effort. to play more aggressively in providing attacks so that Liverpool was unable to beat Atalanta with the same score that Atalanta did so they could not take a penalty, now Premier League clubs Liverpool and West Ham have been eliminated from the UEFA Europa League tournament and all of them were eliminated in the quarter-finals returned to the Premier League with deep disappointment.

Whereas Bayer Leverkusen qualified for the semifinals and eliminated West Ham, no one was able to stop Leverkusen's record in all competitions and in the next match Leverkusen will face Roma. We'll see if Roma is able to stop Leverkusen in the semifinals, but it looks like Leverkusen will continue their unbeaten record. Even though Roma had a good record in the Europa League last season, I don't think it was enough to stop Leverkusen who want to get the UEFA trophy for the first time in history.

They also got this victory with only 10 players. So I think Leverkusen will face a very worthy opponent.

Atalanta will be able to win the first two games mentioned here because they have always had a great competitive moment and participated in the semi-final match. But even if Marseille is strong, Atalanta will win if these two teams compete closely.

In such a competitive competition, you can not allow such a gap to happen and worst part about all this is that it all happened in their own backyard and they have themselves to blame as a 3goal difference was massive!!!

Many people believed that Liverpool will make a miraculous comeback back as they did against Barcelona in the past, but everyday is not Xmas.

Honestly, If they weren't so wasteful that comeback would have happened, and Salah for starters  threw away a good chance after he failed to find the target when he tried to lob the ball over the keeper in a one on one situation , ebut that's football and EPL teams haven't been at their best in this competition which sacks...

I can confidently say that Klopp messed with his chances and it is very clear to him that he made wrong decisions by not taking the first leg in Anfield so seriously.

Too over confident maybe, and unfortunately won't get a glorified sendoff either as he hasn't brought in some silverware in his last season as manager of LFC.

Btw, I think first leg his players lacked the fitness levels required as they were coming back from injuries and what not...but less see how he concludes the EPL season as he says his goodbyes.

Liverpool's previous goal score was low which resulted in them losing the match against Atalanta on aggregate score.  Although Liverpool was ahead by 1 goal in this match, they fell behind in the aggregate score. Liverpool's performance did not improve even in the quarter final match.  It is failure for them.  It is unacceptable that a team like Atalanta beat Liverpool in the semi-finals. Liverpool lost by 2 goals to Atalanta on AGG Method. It was a big gap
