Without us realizing that our focus is now on Leverkusen, they have become a hot topic of conversation and are always the main topic. This is normal because they are truly extraordinary and deserve to be appreciated. They are a very strong team this season, not a single team has managed to beat them, that is a very extraordinary record for Xabi Alonso's men.

I also do get surprised on the way they don't accept defeat, and must work out something to make sure that the goal is equalized. It shows how passionate they are not to be defeated, I will say that they are extra ordinary. If they have being like this since the beginning of this season, it means that they have the fighting back spirit, and that will be difficult for any club to win them.

Their match with Roma might end in a Penalty, if Roma can be able to score them first, because they will be struggling to equalize the game and it to be defeated which will be an advantage for Roma. But if Leverkusen scores first, that is where the problem lies.

Leverkusen unbeaten record continues as if it were full of miracles, and that is not easy for any team other than them to achieve. Several draws were achieved dramatically in extra time, indicating that Leverkusen luck never runs out, Xabi Alonso is like a wizard who is able to conjure match results according to expectations. In common sense, sometimes we never thought Leverkusen would be as consistent as they are now, and would be saved from a number of defeats which I think is difficult to achieve. Atalanta's odds is also very close to the marseille. So, im thinking atalanta gonna win the first leg.

Atalanta weren't definitely superior. Most people were expecting Liverpool to get past them and reach the finale later on too. But a Liverpool - Leverkusen finale which so many people dreamed of won't happen unfortunately.

Yeah nothing guaranteed. But if Atalanta play with the same ambition I will still see them one step ahead.

Just like you rightly said, Bayer Leverkusen on paper have is easily the favorite team to win their UEFA Europa League semi final tie against AS Roma because of their superior performance in all competitions this season but because of how impressive the Italian club have been since Daniele De Rossi took over the managerial position at the club, I don think it'll be good idea not to give the the German team a chance of pulling a surprise in the two legged tie. Leverkusen are stronger than Roma and create more impression in this season than Roma. They also have better preparation for the first semi final match because they don't have to spend their best resources for their match in Bundesliga. Roma oppositely had to use their best players for Serie A match with Napoli and they still need to fight in Serie A for a fourth or fifth position. Roma's current position means they still have risk to lose a fifth position to Atalanta and Lazio so they will need to keep their eyes on two competitions, Europa League and Serie A.

Leverkusen will have big advantage against Roma in both two semi final matches because the schedule of Roma is very terrible. They have two matches with Napoli and Juventus before two semi finals with Leverkusen.

Bayer leverkusen performance is better than AS Roma, but what we are supposed to put into consideration is that AS Roma are struggling in two leagues because in serie A they are struggling to get more than 4 points to make it to the 4th place, while at the same time they are trying to struggle to the final in the Europa League. which we know will be hard for them, but still, I don't think it will be surprising that AS Roma win Bayer Leverkusen in the semi-final. I also know it will be hard due to Bayer Leverkusen's record this season. But what I am putting into consideration is that Bayer Leverkusen are in any way in threat while AS Roma are fully in threat in both leagues, but I still have hope that AS Roma will do better in this season, but to be sincere, AS Roma are going through a hard time.

Leverkusen really surprised us, not because of their ability to beat opponents, but the comebacks they continue to create this season certainly look beyond our reason as football spectators, every time their play and almost lose it is very visible if Leverkusen seems to refuse to lose and continue to be able to surprise by equalizing the score when the game  less than 1 minute before the game ends,  the unyielding mentality possessed by Leverkusen this season deserves our hats off and in my opinion it is indeed quite worthy for Leverkusen to be a team that is indeed unbeaten in the Europa League and also the Bundesliga this season.

Honestly it's hard not to make Leverkusen this season the favourites to win the Europa League, because I think they have all the things needed to win the game against Roma in the semi-finals to reach the Europa League final, I personally predict if Leverkusen will meet Atlanta in the final round later, and for sure we will see the match run exciting and quite fierce later.

Bayer Leverkusen is a great team that is doing well every where, in Bundesliga they are considered as the best team in the league no doubt about that and in the Europa League they are seeing as one of the best team that is fit of winning the league.  I really want Bayer Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga and europa league because they deserves it . The inconsistency has got to be one in a billion. It's already cleared up now, all the need do is go unbeaten in Bundesliga until the last days of the competition. They've already won the Bundesliga, all that's needed is for the league to be rounded up.
Xabi Alonso and the rest of the squad has done well. They have off course written down themz names in the history books as of the best sides to go unbeaten to this point.

I feel like As Roma despite whatever form they're in would hold down Bayern Leverkusen to a full-time draw game and I'm eighty percent sure and certain bout it.

Don't underestimate As Roma, they won against them last season to move to the finals. This season without Jose Mourinho would be totally different and I'm gonna see that happening.
It could be a Bayern Leverkusen and Marseille finals.

I actually do not think they are underestimating Roma at all. I think they are even giving the Europa League competition a lot more importance than The matches that they have left in the Bundesliga. Because they have already won the Bundesliga title. And I don't think it makes much sense to play a good team so that they can keep the unbeaten streak going off trying to win the Europa League competition. of course, there is no chance for them to underestimate Roma. Has been proved to be a big mistake even for really big clubs as well. And they are the ones with the story of an underdog beating everyone else. So I think they understand it very well more than anyone else about what could happen if they underestimate an opponent. But I still think Leverkusen is winning the Europa League title.

The fate of Bayern this season is more to do with the remarkable campaign of Leverkusen, It's not fair to say Tuchel is not competent for the job, because no guarantee for any other manager would be able to keep up with what Leverkusen have been doing. Tuchel may be unpopular among the fans because Bayern play less attractive football than how Bayern used to play, and Bayern experienced unexpected lost to teams that supposed to beat easily.

Leverkusen's brilliant performance have put big pressure on Bayern, because Bayern's slow start of the season makes them left behind with significant gap. Bayern have themself to blame for that situation, and Tuchel surely took the biggest responsible for it. The fact that they are reaching the Champions League semi-final is a proof that Tuchel has capability to lead Bayern.

I Notice the good performance from them in the beginning of this season, that make me to believed that Bayer Leverkusen have a mission to lift this season trophy, and they have manifest it to be among the teams people are expecting to win this trophy because their coach is still ready to improve his players to reach the final game to make it happen.

They have beaten many teams to get to this position, and they will not give up In this stage base on some strong teams they are going to meet in their remaining games, which they need to win those games to clear the doubt from people minds.

I don't think they will allow anything to distract them again because they need to break this record to lift the trophy to promote their coach career because he has done a great work to ensure Bayer Leverkusen remain in a good position till the end of the tournament.

If you look at these two teams by comparing their performance in the domestic league I don't think it's fair because we don't know how tough the competition is in the league, it will definitely have a difference in the tension of the competition. I agree that Bayern Leverkusen have been amazing this season both in the domestic league and in other leagues, likewise Roma haven't really given their best performance in the league, but overall I think they are pretty evenly matched and both have their own style of play so maybe they won't be too aggressive and pay attention to each other's matches first.

It can't be like that, but maybe what can be different is the mentality will definitely be affected if Roma have a losing streak.

I would say that while it is not possible to calculate the league difficulty difference, we could say that a team that has been unbeaten for 40+ games and won the league above Bayern Munich is still by far better than a team that failed to beat out Bologna in the serie A to be in the top four.

If we had like Inter winning the title but Roma being second or something like that then we could maybe argue, then we would say if Inter is better or Bayern (even in that case Bayern is better for me) but we are talking about fifth of Serie A versus the team that did not lose for 40+ games in a row now, including their domestic cup, their league and europa all together. So they could end up with three titles in a single season and already guaranteed one, the other seems quite easy and all they have left is this one.

It seems you have not been following Roma recently. Roma have been in a pretty good form and win games where people thought they would lose. You see how they won AC Milan home and away even though they got a red car early on in the first half. Why Roma are at that position in the league is because they started the season in bad form. When Mourinho was their coach they performed badly earlier on and got to around 9th on the table, now they're 5th and have a chance to qualify for the UCL next season, which shows how better they have become.

Roma may not be the favourites of the tie but they have a very big chance of winning that tie. Bayer Leverkusen is a good team, obviously the better team, but they can lose even though they haven't lost this season.

According to my understanding, no matter how strong a team is, and how far they go to maintain its consistency. In the end, defeat cannot be avoided regardless of the opposing team. yeah, we know and are very aware of how Leverkusen has performed this season. In fact, at the start of this thread, Leverkusen was the only team I favored. But, as the competition progresses and so do the opposing teams. In fact, I don't dare speculate too far, especially before I get a lot of the information I need.

Well, we agree that Leverkusen is the team that has the greatest chance of winning the Europa League trophy. However, the opposing team will not let them be slaughtered easily, that's why maybe De Rossi will prepare something related to strategy, tactics and system when playing the match against Leverkusen. Moreover, the first leg match was held at home to AS Roma. Plus, both teams have attractive odds based on the betting exchange for these two teams. For now, I speculate that AS Roma has a chance of overthrowing Leverkusen in the first leg. yeah, this is only temporary. The time has come before the match will be held, I will try to research and analyze these two teams and choose the right option if it is worth betting on.

Xabi Alonso is doing fascinating things with Leverkusen this season. He put an end to Bayern Munich's huge championship streak in the Bundesliga and brought the first ever Bundesliga title to Leverkusen.  

This performance deserves to win all competitions available. The Bundesliga, most probably DFB Pokal and the Europa League... Roma and Atalanta are toughest opponents left for Leverkusen imho. Even if Leverkusen face both of them I think it shouldn't matter. At least for a this strong team I mean. The players are all focused on winning everything they can. I believe in Leverkusen 100% to do this. I don't think they will end up like Liverpool.
