Paris Basket pulled off a surprise. They defeated Real Madrid, who had won their last six games, 98-92 with a dominant performance from start to finish.
I thought Real Madrid would win the game at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but Paris Basket didn't let that happen.
Real Madrid only had the upper hand in the last quarter, but it wasn't enough to close the gap.
That's what I love most about the Euroleague. Even teams with no stakes fight with all their might. Paris Basket did that tonight.
Well I wouldn't really call it a dominant performance from start to finish, but it for sure was a strong win which was a bit surprising. Paris has been an around 6 points underdog in this one and after the 1st quarter where it went back and forth for a while has been cruising. They have had trouble in the final quarter though and Real even took the lead back for once, but Paris finished strong of course. So yeah, it was strong and commanding, but no "start to finish" since Real came back obviously.
Just another proof that in the Euroleague basically any team can win or lose at any given time.
