As a father, my vision on situation is following: I would better explain, teach or show how good money are earned, but leave gambling for entertainment purposes only. I see no point from hiding gambling, as the kid will learn about it anyway. For me it is better that my kid dont gamble secretly somewhere outside the house, someone in suspicious places and etc. But instead know what it is and understand why I gamble sometimes (for fun). I am teaching my kid in a way, that knowledge is his best weapon, best key to success. With knowledge everything can be achieved. With knowledge my kid could earn good money. Maybe that gambler wants to show their winning to their kids and also show how much money they gets from gambling. But that will not a good idea because their kids can thinks that they can do the same thing to make money from gambling. That can attract that kids to try to playing gambling with their friends and if they wins, they can gives that money to their parents. That is not a good way to educate their kids because that can cause their kids doing the same things until their adults.

Their kids will thinks that they can make money from gambling and will not thinks that they have many ways to make money and not from gambling. My grandma played cards with me when I was a kid. My father explained me rules blackjack and poker rules when I was a kid. When I was a teenager, I remember we had a VHS cassette with comedy movie Maverick (movie about poker tournament).
