It's more exciting to watch a game with a bet, our emotions swing as the game goes on, because the outcome of the game will determine whether we lose or win.

I can remember a match that the winner won with 2 goals. In the first half, a goal was scored by the away team. There were many people watching the match and I was among them. A man was seen unhappy. Although we should not be happy because the away team was winning our country's team, but at least you can still see the energy in us. This man was helpless. At the second half, the away team scored the second goal and the man fainted. What caused it? He gambled the match with huge amount of money. If we are going to watch a match or not, we should avoid using too much amount to gamble. You are able to watch the match enjoyably because you used little amount of money to place bet on the match.

For me, I don't want to watch a match where I have bet because it gives me a mixed emotions and possibly I can't concentrate on watching. It's better for me to watch a normal game without my own bet so that I can watch and comment freely without thinking how's my money. sometime It's kinda disappointed if I didn't place a bet especially if my instincts about the winning team is right but yeah, that's how gambling works.

Losing a bet becomes stressful only if you lose consecutively. The feeling of being stressed was caused by the disappointment you have every after the game of your bet and you end up losing your every bet. The fun that you're looking for in gambling only happens when you win or if you enjoy every sport you bet even if you lose because you are truly a fan of sports. You must know as a gambler that not every bet is a win, we do betting to have more thrill on the sports we bet, and our expectation will increase to the highest level that we will get more hooked up. Disappointment will always be part of sports betting and any other games, and there's nothing we can do about that.

I understand you very well. I also feel stressful when I watch an event when I have placed a bet on it. And I know that very well little greedy guy inside me (and in everyone) that triggers me to place a bet. So to shut his mouth, I suggest to place a minimum bet on an a ridiculous event. For example if you watch football, place a bet on number of free kicks or corners. That is really hard to predict and fun to count, as with minimum bet you dont lose anything significant, yet still gamble.

Or just change your attitude to gambling. You watch the game because you have placed a bet. But you must watch the game, and make betting like an addition. Like popcorn and drink when you go to cinema. It isnt obligatory, but you still buy it, even though the price is x5 than regular popcorn and drink would cost.

Yeah its disappointing when we lose but somehow we enjoy once we are winning that's why its split thought regarding on this topic.
But somehow we can enjoy watching when theirs a bet since we could think about different type of methods we use then with that our focus is on the game and with that for sure we can enjoy gambling with using our bets.

But also we could enjoy watching especially if we are spectating on exciting rounds made by our favorite streamer or friends since every risky action we do is giving us a suspense feeling even if we are not betting since the atmosphere or the vibes can caught us up by each result shown since we are following that session which we enjoy to spectate.

Personally, I tend to bet with money that I can afford to lose, so when I lose a bet I won't feel that much disappointment, but when I bet, I don't watch the whole match only occasionally to make for posts, I don't have enough time to watch. In fact, watching matches while betting is a pleasure for those who like it, but the risk is that if the club you are betting on loses, you tend to get carried away by emotions. I bet not only on 1 match but also on other matches so I don't have time to watch all the matches I bet on. I only look at the final result in the hope of winning but if not I don't feel annoyed or emotional because of the money I spent betting not too big.

It's not gambling when you are not losing, losing is very much associated with gambling that is why it is called gambling, you can either lose or win it is 50/50 but if we're talking about online gambling platforms, the house has an edge so there's a big probability of losing than winning.
If you cannot cope with losing and you can only accept winning then gambling is not for you, it's a wrong mindset to gamble with the idea of making money, your focus should be on entertainment, and winning money is just a bonus for playing.

 For me, you kinda feel the thrill, excitement, and fun when you bet while watching because when you win your money can be doubled and it's very overwhelming to feel and want to bet more. But sad to say that nothing is permanent you win and you lose and then start to feel like you have to win your money back.


I believe that when it comes to gambling our fate relies on luck and if luck was not on your side, accept the fact that you lose, and when we lose we get stressed but then decided to bet again.  The reality is that gambling is very addicting, that when you started it there is no way to get out or there is no turning back.

Maybe others may prefer watching the games without any bet especially in sports as they can simply focus and at the same time enjoy watching the sports without overthinking with their money or any pressure and distraction.

I guess this depends on your preference. But as for me, it isn't counted as gambling if there's no money at stake. It will be much challenging and nerve-wracking when you are watching your own bet progress into something. It's exciting and at the same time you will feel some tense due to fund at stake when you mess up, but that's what makes it more fun and thrilling to some. Meanwhile, if you didn't place a bet like an actual money and just see how things will progress, it could lessen the burden on your heart because you have nothing to worry about, since you can't really lose if you didn't bet. So it's really depends on you which you enjoy more.

Betting large amounts is very painful compared to the lesser amount, and the gambler would have to remain uncomfortable until the game is over; 1hr 30mins. Slots could be more painful but in a short while. During the Arsenal game with Aston Villa, we all wanted Arsenal to win. The mind didn't rest, not until the last whistle was blown. I felt a sigh of relief, despite Arsenal losing the game. Watching the game and losing, isn't ok, as the gambler expects a magical goal. The fun is instantly recovered once our team scores.

The reason is that we are afraid to lose our money, we would like to make a risk in gambling but we are afraid to lose our money reason why other people get mad, angry, etc those negative emotions release because they cant handle it anymore, gambling is not just about fun because you are winning not as always this happens. If you want to play gambling make sure you know already that your funds deposited not as always win the game, if you already accepted this fact you can now free will with these negative emotions because you accepted the chance to win or not. When you lose a bet, it does not actually feel good irrespective of how much risk management you applied. But if this pain lingers for two long and even lead to anger and depression, then there is a problem with the risk you took. If you are actually well balanced in terms of bankroll management, it will not even make much difference if you are watching the game or not. Although your mind will be anticipated outcome inline with your selection, if it goes the other way, you accept it in good faith. Personally, I do enjoy watching games I played and I'm always willing to accept the outcome.

About the stressful loss, well, it's part of the game and I am thankful that with just one night of sleep, I can get over it. There's always another day, I always try to keep that in my mind to stay optimistic. Another option to relieve the stress is being happy with the other team who worked hard to win that game especially if they are a super underdog.
It's true that the feeling of loss is regretful and it could sometimes affect our mindset. But, we cannot remain thinking about that especially if there are more games that will come the next day. So, the solution would be, don't bet your whole capital. Try to budget it where you could win it all back in case of loss.
