Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?

Of course, feeling disappointed is normal in betting when you lose even though we realize that this is just entertainment. For example, when I bet on football, I placed a double bet, and the last match ended in defeat, if the match had not yet ended, of course to finish it, I would not watch this match again until the end, I would sleep.

Because with sleep my feelings of disappointment will disappear, if I was still watching this match I would definitely bet again. Because I have principles in gambling, I always put enough money into gambling every week, if I lose I won't add any more money. I also apply this to avoid addiction.

It's generally going to be a lose lose situation, as bets are generally bound to losing more than they are to win...though you're not always going to be disappointed - Here are most of the possible scenarios (excluding draw scenario):

1. You are watching a bet - No bet on yourself - Bet wins
Result: You are disappointed that the bet loses.

2. You are participating in a bet - You put a bet on too - Bet loses
Result: You may regret that you put the bet on.

3. You are watching a bet - No bet on yourself - Bet loses
Result: You may be relieved that the bet loses and that you didn't bet too.

4. You are participating in a bet - You put a bet on too - Bet wins
Result: Best result.

Scenario 1/2 are negative, scenario 3 is neutral, scenario 4 is a positive one.

4 possibilities and only 1 is positive...that's some pretty average odds, I wouldn't take them.

Of course, this excludes any positive/negative emotions that you may have while the bet is finding its result.

It is fun when you watch when you bet, and also fun when you do not bet, It all depends on the person. For someone who is already used to betting on sport games after many years, and they are already  used to to the suspense and thrill of expecting their picks to enter, it will not be fun to watch a game if they do not bet on it. I think watching or enjoying a game of soccer without betting on it is probably best because it reduces the stress level that one would pass through because betting on a game and actually watching the game can cause someone big time stress especially when your team is at the losing end and not to talk of if the actual team is said to be a certain Manchester united  , imagine the stress you would go through watching Manchester united play their nonsense and actually spoils your bet.

Honestly both are really interesting, but then your preference on which actually gets you to feel less part of the game than the other or which makes you feel more part of the game than the other. But obviously when you stake and watch at the same time, you definitely tend to be part of the game than when you just staked or probably just watching the match.

The emotions that comes with you watching the game you did staked on is actually different with that when you are just watching the game to enjoy it or probably as a fan, personally I don't watch games I did staked on because I will be tensed all through, there will be so much of adrenaline rush in me and I may not enjoy the game much if it happens it's turning out against me so I'd prefer not to watch a game I stake on and not to stake on games I want to watch.

I say the fun factor is just the same, but with watching while you're betting there's a certain sense of excitement/nervousness that comes with it. When you're watching with no bets there's nothing in the line for you to be worried about, even though most games are predetermined by the initial conditions at which it finds itself anyway. And I think that's where the fun is, watching the games that you bet and maybe you can cheer for the teams that you have put money in. Definitely, it's going to be stressful for any bettors, but I guess it's better to watch and have some fun as well.

But I know some gamblers, who put a bet and then doesn't want to watch the games. I would downgrade my bankroll to a more affordable amount, similar to what I would spend if I went out and watched movies at the cinema.

Some bets become stressful because the amount you could win or lose still matters even though you can afford it. You have to lower it even further until you get to the sweet spot and feel less bad about losing regularly.

I'll even make the effort to switch gambling sites because some still set a minimum limit on their deposit.
