I don't used any apps though to track, I just write it down in my notebook and go back and update.
I'm not using notebook, I write my push-up activities in Excel sheet. I think, When 1 month is complete I can show you. I have entered day 14, the quantity of push-up increasing day by day it's today also 55 push-up . Continue to take per day 3 sessions because I have office ...In the midst of so much busyness, I am continuing push-up. Colleagues want to know the secret of my physical change... I also said that I am facing a challenge and I'm doing it. I wish I could open my t-shirt and show you how much my body has improved.
Just finished my 37th day.. and I had a "friend" who had visited me within the last days, and she had not visited me since before I began doing the pushups.  So, I was hoping that she might say something about noticing some kind of a change, but she did not say anything... so maybe the physical change is still not sufficiently noticeable - even though I can see and feel the difference, but it might not be enough of an obvious physical difference for another person to really notice.. unless she noticed but she just did not want to say anything..   I am not going to push the topic.. so I just have to wait for some other person who might not have seen me recently.. but then there could some that notice even if they are seeing you on a daily basis... and at some point they start to notice..
Seems you started just as soon as you this thread because in an hours 4 minutes would make it 37 days since this thread was created.

I started about two days before this thread started, and the topic was already being discussed at various places around the forum for several days and maybe even a week before I started, and then this thread came a couple days later (after I had already started).

You have shown some sort of dedicated to a worthy course, I must admit. Maybe you were already involved in some kinds of exercise, the reason you did not blink an eye before jumping in on this one.

I have always had some kind of exercise in my life, but I think that in the last 5-6 years I had been doing a lot of walking-kinds of activities, and maybe only the past 9 months, I started lifting weights and stretching more, instead of walking so much.. so when the pushup challenge came, I had not been doing pushups or any other kind of body resistant exercise, but I thought that it was a good idea to try it out.. even though I was really not that excited about pushups until I started to really think about it more seriously.. then I began to warm up to the idea... so yeah I was not able to do 100 push ups in my first several days, and I had not been doing pushups for many years..  maybe close to 20 years. I cannot even remember the last time I was really doing body weight type exercises. even though I have had some other kinds of exercises that were more cardio in nature, even though I did have periods of time around 2017, 2018, 2019 of going to the gym to lift weights and swimming too.

I am still in my 29th day, probably lagging behind but I am sure I will catch up eventually  because bitcoin still have some days to hit $100k.

Of course, go at your own pace... Since I started a system, I will probably continue to do pushups even if BTC reaches $100k soon.  I am not sure how long.  I will have to consider the matter once we get there... could be right around the corner, or it could take a bit longer to get there..I am thinking that $100k could be in less than a few months... perhaps even prior to the halvening.. but who knows?

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Yeah, we have our own way to keep track, maybe I'm just used to it because I did this challenge already and I still have my old notes. So I'm just going back at it and see how it goes for me. Re-starting though is a mental game, but if I have my old notes saying that I did it before, then it could motivate me again to do again and again and push myself.

Later, (as we have different timezones), I might have to cross and touch 100 push ups already, so wish me luck  Smiley. Listen soreness in my chest, but it could be sign that it is effective. It might take some time to notice some physical change but doesn't matter as long as I know that I did 100 push up and getting stronger by the day, it will be enough to drive me and make it until bitcoin reaches $100k.

I have been coming across this thread very often, sometimes I go through the thread and see people who are and has remained willing to get into this challenge. I'm quite a bit disappointed in myself for not picking up the challenge from the very beginning, when now it seems like this challenge is just part of the reason why Bitcoin is hitting new mile stones all of a sudden  Cheesy

Watching Bitcoin grow in value is something we ought to be happy about, and I am interested and love to join the challenge till we get to the $100k value. For me doing a hundred (100) pushup is not certain but I believe I can do a good amount.

Just part of the reason? This challenge has more influence on the Bitcoin price than the ETFs! OK, maybe not. Still though, it is a great distraction to keep you from selling off your BTC too early and instead focus on your health and building strength so that you can handle the things in life that money can’t take care of for you.
It's a good one to keep me distracted, even if I have never felt like selling off my portfolio  Smiley this early, I feel there is more to expect from the market than just giving out too early. My body currently needs this challenge to help burn out some fats and excess weight . I have been very reluctant to burn out some  and this is just  the perfect opportunity to keep myself once more fit and healthy while watching my investment grow.

When I first saw this thread I actually thought it was a joke even when I saw the email of satoshi saying that 100 pushups daily would take bitcoin to 100k, I though It was all a joke but I decided to join in the challenge, I thought to myself I would be building my body anyway and I first saw this thread as a place of motivation to get my self to work out, but after a while bitcoin had hit 60k and first crossed the last ATH  I was like so it's actually working, so i decided to put more effort and be a little more consistent in my push ups and finally we are well above the last ATH and in at a new one.

On ethics I now believe that no matter how foolish it may sound but we are actually participating in bringing bitcoin to 100k and who knows if we continue we could even exceed it, so I think by now nobody need to be motivated by anyone again as in the beginning when we started, we are now sure that it's working and we need to continue.

Can't wait to write another post when we hit 80k  Cool

So, apparently, I've been in this challenge all along??😂
100 push ups a day has been my routine for quite a while now, and seeing this just tingles 😂...  Well for y'all who don't have this as a routine and 100 push ups sounds cumbersome, try doing 5 sets of 20 over the course of the day, or however you'd like to split it, I think the aim of a challenge is to hit the mark, and don't worry,  you won't have to do 100 pushups a day till the year runs out

Lol at when I saw the thread, I thought I won't be able to keep up because being long I actually do some workout. So at first was just looking on others replies till I saw one of ognasty reply about the number of pushups he has hitten back then, then also saw sir JGG reply with a GIFs (saying oh  come on Cheesy ) something like that, saying his as already started his pushups before the thread. Then more users was also showing interest, really got me excited and inspired. That if I do it , it would be a win win better body, Better money (really love that line) . So I decided to give it try , though at first wasn't aiming for 100 pushups daily because at that them was like something I could not hit , so I started small then I stopped for a while due to having body aches. But as time goes I saw my stamina and strength increasing as I hit those pushups got to a point wasn't feeling the effects anymore, then decided to try 100 pushups with 20 pushups 5 set daily.

Many may joking..... that how is it possible? It is impossible for you to do so many pushups together! He looks askance or criticizes me because of the tightness of my walk and muscles, because I am a little looking different...no matter what he says. It is great that my body has improved a lot. I want to continue the effort to take the price of BTC to $100k even with so much difficulty. Maybe we can not do in this session but in 2nd session or 3rd session... our goal is to strive until the price of BTC reaches $100k. It will have your fitness and beauty along with the price of BTC.

I even do Bruce Lee push-ups for Bitcoin, I actually want to do them but I can't, was he doing it with his fingers right? Anyway, Mike Tyson's Push Up variation is quite difficult, I'm sure I've never seen it before, I'll try it, but I can do it a limited number of times. I will try to do 100 push-ups per day as a priority, as there is only a little time left for bitcoin to reach the target, bitcoin will reach the target faster than me. Struggling will at least put me on this path.

To me I am already becoming tired of the push up. I don't know what is wrong with me, I am just being lazy this days to meet up to my daily target per day, but each time I come to this thread I see that people are very much active on the push up challenge, it gives me the impression to still further more because it is good for the health. If it where not for the motivation of people a lazy fellow like me could have quited lolz.100 push up all the way!

You are right! because when you start something painful like push-ups you will feel a lot of pain in your body which is excruciating. In this case you can take some break, 1 or 2 days it can be very good for you, the next days start push-up. as me.
You can continue doing morning and evening push-ups in 2 steps, I pumped in the morning and evening and was able to complete 26 push-ups today. It's great improvement for me. And physical improvement will take 2 or 3 months, first it will have negative effect on your body and when you continue daily then you will see your improvement. Even the people around you will see your physical improvement. But in this case you have to stay on push-ups for 2 or 3 months every day.

At most times it doesn't matter how long but the intensity of your push ups will give a better results regardless of the duration you have done it, someone should not be doing same number of push ups without a comparative increase intensity that will be sufficient enough to challenge the growth of your muscles. however, taken some  good dietary measures and having some good rest can as well help in achieving significant muscle growths.

In the last few days, my number of pushups per day have been coming down and also the number that I do per set is coming down, and I still feel very sore, so I am just trying to adjust to a period in which my total number of push ups is going to be lower until I might start to feel more energy to do more pushups... I still have a daily average of 135 push-ups per day, so I do not feel that I am short-changing myself, even if my average also ends up coming down.

So other guys who might be doing 40 or 50 pushups per day, it would be difficult to consider that number to be too small, even though sometimes guys might have to split their pushups into more sets per day.. and I am not sure if it would be a good idea to have more than 5 sets in a day.. even though guys could differ in that kind of a judgment, so we can consider 3-5 sets per day as a reasonable goal... with my own continuing to be 5 sets per day, but I could see that if I might feel busy on some days I might want to do fewer sets and so even 3 sets in a day seems acceptable.. especially for any of us who are continuing to do the pushups daily even if our quantity might not be at exactly 100, we are doing an amount that feels reasonable and/or meaningful to our own situation.

[edited out]
You are right! because when you start something painful like push-ups you will feel a lot of pain in your body which is excruciating.

If there is a goal to try to stay on track and to try to stick with the challenge, then I don't see any reason to completely skip push-up days, unless maybe you are injured.. but maybe just do 1 or 2 sets of push ups in the lower days.. just to push yourself in terms of continuing to make progress and building and to stay on schedule and in the spirit of the push-up challenge.

For example, there have been several mornings that I had tried to do my first set of pushups somewhere between 8am and 10am.... and so I was considering doing my first set today at 9am.. but I felt sore and I did not really feel like doing them, so I waited until 11am and then I did my second set at 12 am.. .. so I am feeling a bit better now, but I am still keeping a little bit lower quantity of push ups.. and I will see how this goes over the next few days and to see maybe if I might start to feel that I can start to increase again, or maybe I will just stay at a lower quantity of pushups per day.

By the way, reading some posts in this thread. also inspires me to make sure to keep doing pushups every day.. it is almost like having a work out partner that makes you go to the gym instead of skipping that day in the event that you did not have a work out partner.

I think you are right. I will need to readjust my pushup count. You know when you are overdoing anything it becomes a problem to you or you become lazy. By tomorrow morning I will reschedule my count from my previous count which I do upto 150 per day to maybe 135 or 130 sothat I will have a balance and eventually start improving again, like someone who is starting afresh. I think that will be great.

At this stage, it is only you who will notice there is a change in your body because of how easily and quickly you finish your daily activities. The 37th day of push-ups is not enough to develop your body for another person to notice it. If you are consistent enough and do the push-ups for three months, your body will start developing, and another person will see the physical change in your body.

It matters how long you have done your push-ups, and your consistency in doing them will determine when you will achieve physical body development. As a starter, if you do push-ups for a month, there will not be any change in your body, but you will get an inner improvement, which only you can notice because of how fast you are at getting things done. You must undergo a series of pains for months before you can get your body to take on a new shape, and in some cases, it can take six months. It took some people who were training all parts of their bodies in the gym years before they achieved the body shape they have now. Remember, no pain, no gain.

This thread is really active on this push_up exercise and the way am seeing how people's are testifying on how dey normally do it on daily basics I think is the high time for me to resume to my normal daily push _up exercise again, but the challenge that I was having before was anytime I finish my push _up exercise I always notice pain in my chest and in my muscle but going through this wonderful thread have make me realize that those pain is really making my muscle and chest to come up so I think I will start with 10 push_up tomorrow morning and see how it goes.

Don't get me wrong please, the point is that prioritizing longevity without quality might just be a total of waste time. I actually know some one who has been in this field for a long time whitout any visible significant  muscle growth and when i have a close look I observed it was lack of quality. To an extend we are both saying same thing, that is consistency and longevity should come along side with quality.

Mate, even if you do the right workout and don't do it for a long time, you will not see a good result. Your friend, who has been in this field for a long time without achieving a good result, might have carried out his push-ups in the wrong way, which were not adding anything to his body, or the person lacks protein in his body system that could have helped him build his body. If you do your workout in the wrong way, there is no way you will achieve anything. Tell your friend to watch push-up videos on social media so that he will know how to position his body to do the right push-ups that will make him improve his body.

I get your point. But experts say that 30 days of consecutive work out ( push ups in context here)is enough to cause obvious changes in your body, enough that any one would notice, although standard time for changes in the body due to work out is 2 weeks. It doesn't have to take three months to start 'developing', for example, it doesn't take three months for someone trying to loose weight to start  cutting down... Take it from me, I work out a lot, and I've spent my life around that kind of environment. These are muscles were talking about, they expand and contract. Push up does this: stretches your muscles to a point it doesn't revert to it's original size, and that doesn't take three months of consecutive routine to start happening. Infact , somebody who's done 100 push ups for 3 months, that's about 9000 push ups, will definitely not "start developing" if you know what I mean.

Bro your right, it shouldn't take up to three months to start seeing obvious changes in your body, especially if your quite aggressive at it or majorly consistent.

Just 3 weeks in, I've already started feeling pain around my upper chest and arm and few of my close friends are actually complimenting my muscle gain, so from my experience it should take that long.
