The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Yes, it seems we aren't going to get the easy straight up run to $100K we're all hoping for that are doing this challenge.  It would have been great to see $100K pre-halving, but that was a long shot.  Now that it's looking like closer to the end of the year before $100K breaks, we may have a bit of a marathon ahead of us.  I'll be honest, I have my doubts as to whether I'll be able to keep it up until then or not as I can feel my body needs a day of rest, but I'm going to keep at it and give it the old college try.  This is my day 47.  Hitting 50 days will be quite the accomplishment and maybe if I can hit 100 days I'll earn a day off.

I don't care about merit, but I think it's great that people are joining in on this challenge and keeping this thread alive.  If it wasn't so popular I for sure would have given up or taken a day off by now.  It isn't me who is keeping this challenge alive.  It's all of you!

I've watched a lot of those videos about the benefits of having 100 push ups a day and that doesn't include Bitcoin becoming $100k. Hehehe..
We can then say that this is then another way of doing the same thing and achieving the same result, this time a passionately one motivated by bitcoin getting to $100k. Not bad for the people that believe in bitcoin I guess.

I’m actually surprised at how good it feels. Doing only 2 sets lets me get my 100 push-ups in before noon. That gives my body twice as much time to recover as when I was doing 25 right before bed and then 25 more when I wake up. I’m barely getting through 50 at a time so 100 is still a long ways off, but I’m hoping to continue seeing improvement.
Keep on doing your push-ups. With time, you will build up the muscles and strength that will allow you to do 50 push-ups without finding it hard to complete. I adopted another strategy to complete my 100 push-ups a day, which is 4 sets of 30, 30, and 40 push-ups. This strategy makes my body feel good, and it will help to develop my body faster than the 5 sets of 20 reps I was doing before.
Why doing 30, 30 and 40 push-ups instead of 40, 30 and 30 push-ups? From my personal experience, the first round is a little bit easier and less painful and the pain increases as you go deep into the exercise. I can even put it at 50-30-20 and still achieve the same result. The very first period of starting this exercise is the only time it will be painful for the start but when the body become accustomed to it, the reverse will then become the case.
In my experience I realized that at first I started with great interest but a lot of pain spread all over the body. In fact, it is better to start with low push-ups first. By doing this, physical strength gradually increases and pain can be felt less. After a break for a few days, I started again but could not do push-ups like before. I've done 2 toe push-ups in 2 sessions which was 23 before...I think 30 or 40 push-ups per day is possible if I can keep up with 3 or 4 sessions. It is not impossible to do it...I have overcome the pain in my body and the challenges that I will conquer.
As a beginner in push-up, you need to do what your body can handle so that you will not be in so much pain that it will make you quit your push-up. When you notice that you have gained strength and the number of push-ups you are doing in a set cannot help build your body faster, you can increase the number of push-ups you do in a set to get what will make your body develop faster.

I was never worried with the market correction, even if it keeps decreasing I saw it as a perfect opportunity to fit into accumulating more Bitcoin at a lower price until I realize I got my self involved into doing credible amount of push-ups till we hit a $100k price value, seems like a long way to go from here  Wink but I surely will end up what I started even if I get to compromise a bit.

You deserve an accolades for bringing this idea of push ups to the forum, it has really helped majority of us to build our body, yes it is hasn't been easy keeping up with the challenge and thread till date, I appreciate each and every one of us thus this far and cheers, yeah considering some rest might not be a bad idea it will help to regain some energy.  Since am not pretty much occupied this days I will still keep up with the challenge I really love the vibes i get from this challenge.

It was a shocken experience that I had today, I wasn't expecting it because I have been long down doing push ups for quite some time now, the experience I had was that while I was actually doing my morning routine of push ups a friend Walk up to me and introduce a more reliable way of doing push-ups that will be challenging enough to booster muscle enlargement, which is to sustain and become more slower in your pushups, I gave it a try and all my body system changed instantly and vibrating like it was my first time such that am even  managing to type right now hence I see the need of prioritizing a more quality push ups than quantity if actually any one will want to experience muscles enlargement, the 100 pushups challenge can be done in different pacing, sessions and sets while striving to achieve it. Am very certain that if I could continue with this new method introduced to me by my friend trust me my muscles can never remain the same.

I am still focused on quantity over quality, and it remains my view that my quality is also improving with the mere fact that I am doing the pushups every day and 5 sets per day.

I am less sore, more push-ups per set, get through the push ups faster and with less pain, less rest time between sets and perhaps some other noticeable improvements.  I am probably around 1 second per pushup, and there still might be some point that I am willing to slow down and reduce my quantity by 1/2 or 2/3 or even more, just to start to focus on something else, but right now I am still increasing my quantity per day.. and my last three sets were 50, 45, 50.. .. so that is more than I had been able to do in the past, and so I have two more sessions for today.. ..and so it could end up going higher than my so far 205 daily maximum... which I feel really go about that, since my first several days I could not even do 100 pushups without being very sore.. .. and yeah, today I am still planning on going for a walk so sometimes other exercises can affect subsequent push-up sets.. but I still have quite a few more hours left in the day.

I think that my point is that as long as I am able to measure various kinds of pretty solid improvements, and I am not getting bored with what I am doing, then I am going to continue to push in the direction that I have been going... and at some point I might change from quantity to something else.. I still had tried some clapping pushups and truly there needs to be a lot more power in the pushups to be able to try to successfully achieve something like that.

The price set-back was expected, no concern here: 100 a day will be a big amount & good for me. I'm in, thank you for the great idea!

Oh gawd.. that is pretty tacky, OgNasty.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Doesn't a bit of "tacky" eventually help Bitcoin grow more mainstream? If people have a wide variety of honest ways to make Bitcoin then more people participate, and have less motive to jump on endless altcoins.

I will participate with this challenge. I will succeed in 100 push ups before Bitcoin reaches $100k. My challenge will start from today (20/03/2024).

I am 27 years old and surely I can win with this challenge.  I am already used to push ups. I can do like 50 pushups a day now.  If I can go with the challenge then surely I will win this challenge and succeed in 100 push ups before Bitcoin goes to $100k.

I am very careful about my health consciousness due to which I walk for minimum 45 to 50 minutes in the morning every day. I do push ups and bought some gym equipment and do gym with that equipment for 30 minutes every day. I am fairly healthy, I am not infected with any disease. If a person walks for 30 to 40 minutes every morning for his good health, he will surely be very healthy.

I will be a little twisty here, but first, I have the belief that Bitcoin will hit $100,000 late this year or early next year and I will not shy from boldly saying it ever.

But instead of doing the 100 push-ups a day when the coin has not reached $100,000 yet, I prefer to limit it to what it has achieved already and review it upwards and downwards depending on its further behaviours to reflect the prevailing market price. With this, I can only encourage myself to do daily every divisible by $1000 that Bitcoin achieve. For instance, if the price of Bitcoin is $43,000, I would do 43 push-ups on that day. As you can see, it will tally the $100,000 with 100 push-ups on the day it eventually hits the level, and this will also reflect the gist and fun in the OP more practicably.

This must also go with my palms on the ground and not the knuckles, that's what I'm used to.
Alright!! I really can do the 100 push ups, as its a sort of show of faith, but I like this idea too, sounds like a journey I'm willing to embark on.
66 push ups for today!
Whenever the price drops, I'll stick to the last price it was at, I'll never drop with the price.

While most people would want to jump on this challenge, forgetting that it's a daily challenge, how do you handle the consistency required? The fatigue, the inner motivation, the sore muscles and all that. A challenge that you can't consistently pull through is a challenge you should not take. But if you can and youve got a firm resolve,( like my humble self😂) then see you at $100k, all bulked up

Finally! This.
Everybody here has been enthusiastic, and nobody remembered to be mention their health consciousness or  the status of it.
Not everybody is healthy enough to embark on this journey, forget enthusiasms, they may not even know it, because of lack of health awareness. Same way people have a big disease and don't know.
Nice one, friend.

I accepted this challenge. Bitcoin is currently at $64k, $100k may take a long time, I will be able to give 100 push ups at this opportunity. I can do some push ups, but I don't push up because of laziness. Since you have given a challenge to do 100 push ups until the bitcoin is $100k. I woke up this morning and was able to do 12 push ups in a row. It is not possible for me to do 100 push ups at once, if I try a few times throughout the day then I will be able to do 100 push ups. I have to take time and try several times a day. People can do anything if they try, so can I. Your challenge will be good for me, if I push up every day my body will be healthy.

If you have taken up the challenge of 100 push-ups, you will definitely need a lot of time in the beginning. Although the Bitcoin core will continue to move downwards, the Bitcoin market is currently at $62k, so it may take a long time to enter the $100k mark. But if you try to do too many push-ups in the beginning then of course it will be painful for you, you will feel a lot of pain in your muscles. So you need to follow a routine every day so that your body does not suffer any damage, and you can do push-ups in a normal healthy state regularly. But you mentioned here that you don't do push-ups because of laziness, it is very bad for your body and can lead to diseases, so you need physical exercise to keep your body healthy. If you overcome laziness and do 20 to 25 push-ups regularly and keep increasing the number of push-ups daily, you can reach 100. If you keep doing push-ups every day, you will be in good health, and your 100 push up challenge will be completed, and bitcoin price will enter $100k at some point.

Oh wow, 5 sets and you’ve been able to archive 205 for a day at some point, that’s a whole lot of push-ups and sets.

Basically, I reserve exercises for a morning and evening session when I can. I say when I can because, I skip days when I over sleep or just don’t feel like doing it for that day but, I still try though.

Meanwhile, I don’t know what 5 sets of push ups might be like. Like how do you split it within the day… it must come with ease but, you must have a lot of free time to session these exercises.

And yeah, 205 is possible with that much session, takes a great deal of discipline too as you have to remind yourself and push yourself to doing the task at hand, not to mention, the pains that would be on your shoulders. Surely you are building endurance as you’ve noted with the numbers your able to achieve which wasn’t the case before.
Even I with a history of push ups haven’t achieved 205 in any particular day. The most I have done and that was in the past was around 170 push ups. Now, I stick around 125 push ups and below. Haven’t really being pushing for more but, I guess the sessions helps and that comes at a great deal of discipline.

The more I can do pushups the better my health will be, from today I accept this challenge. Surely I can face this challenge and win before the price of Bitcoin reaches 100. Because I do 17 to 25 pushups every morning but I will start increasing it from today after accepting this challenge. And I'll be level with the bitcoin price challenge in a month or so before the halving period. Currently bitcoin is up to 63k dollars so it will take me only a month to break even with that. And as soon as the bitcoin price reaches 100K, I will be able to push up to 100K. The more exercise the body will be calmer and the less sick it will be I think it is beneficial in any way.

Yeah same with me, but I mostly prefer the evening session and that is where I do much of the push ups because it relax my nerves and has been my sleeping tablet since we began this challenge whereas I do very fewer push ups in the morning session and when i become too sore I skip a day just to rest and regain energy.

I said yesterday that if you can complete 3-4 sets of push-ups, it will take less time to reach your goal. Today I did 32 push-ups in 3 sets. Each set is like a gap of minimum 5 minutes and again I start push-up. Now that the price of Bitcoin is undergoing a slight correction, I will take this opportunity. And I can drag myself until the price reaches $100k. At first it seemed that it might take a month to complete 100 push-ups but it is not that easy. But hopefully I can meet the challenge with the price of Bitcoin. Now it's a matter of whether I can finish 100 push-ups before the bitcoin hits $100k.
