The price set-back was expected, no concern here: 100 a day will be a big amount & good for me. I'm in, thank you for the great idea!

Yes, it seems we aren't going to get the easy straight up run to $100K we're all hoping for that are doing this challenge.  It would have been great to see $100K pre-halving, but that was a long shot.  Now that it's looking like closer to the end of the year before $100K breaks, we may have a bit of a marathon ahead of us.  I'll be honest, I have my doubts as to whether I'll be able to keep it up until then or not as I can feel my body needs a day of rest, but I'm going to keep at it and give it the old college try.  This is my day 47.  Hitting 50 days will be quite the accomplishment and maybe if I can hit 100 days I'll earn a day off.
Nothing good comes easy. I knew the challenge wasn't going to be an easy ride or one way way something because $100k is not a small something that can be achieved overnight. But persistence is what's going to keep us going. But one thing am certain is that we are going to see the $100k in the upcoming bullrun. This is a collective efforts challenge and as a team, we have to continue with it when others feel tired and want to rest. Those that are still fit and able to continue should carry on the challenge till others regain their fitness and join back. I know there will be some level of doubts along the way but, let's just look beyond the bitcoin profit and also consider the benefits the push up is adding to our body and use it as a motivation to continue the challenge.

Well, my fitness is awful. I hardly did 30 (10x3) push-ups. Hopefully, by the time BTC hits $100k, I will be doing a lot better than this.

That's great, is good you participated in this 100 push-up challenge, as a started in this challenge it will take you little time to gain fitness only if you put your mind in it, if you see that you hardly hit 30 you can bring it down a little bit like 25 gradually like that you will start gaining more fitness that can enble you hit even 50 and above without getting tired easily believe me you won't stop doing this exercise because of the good divident you will gain doing this exercise, my self am a living testimony this push-up exercise has given my whole body a nice stretch my neck, my hips, arms, shoulders and it has also relief pains on my back I now feel active and healthy, so don't not let the pain in this exercise discourage you from not achieving a healthy life and also gain enough fitness before BTC hit $100k.

I am still focused on quantity over quality, and it remains my view that my quality is also improving with the mere fact that I am doing the pushups every day and 5 sets per day.

I am less sore, more push-ups per set, get through the push ups faster and with less pain, less rest time between sets and perhaps some other noticeable improvements.  I am probably around 1 second per pushup, and there still might be some point that I am willing to slow down and reduce my quantity by 1/2 or 2/3 or even more, just to start to focus on something else, but right now I am still increasing my quantity per day.. and my last three sets were 50, 45, 50.. .. so that is more than I had been able to do in the past, and so I have two more sessions for today.. ..and so it could end up going higher than my so far 205 daily maximum... which I feel really go about that, since my first several days I could not even do 100 pushups without being very sore.. .. and yeah, today I am still planning on going for a walk so sometimes other exercises can affect subsequent push-up sets.. but I still have quite a few more hours left in the day.
Oh wow, 5 sets and you’ve been able to archive 205 for a day at some point, that’s a whole lot of push-ups and sets.

Yeah.  Part of the reason that I am sticking to what I had been doing - in order to focus on quantity over quality is partially because I believe that even focusing on quantity helps to improve quality, and I still think that my form is good, it is just a matter of my doing my pushups quickly rather than slowly... but still able to feel certain breaking points, so yesterday I ended up having 5 sets that added up to 235, so it was 50, 45, 50, 40, 50, and then this morning I was able to do 55 for my first set of the day and 45 for my second set... and yeah, I am breaking at the ends of each of these sets, even though the first half of the sets is getting easier and easier.. and I remember how difficult it was to do 25 or 30 pushups, especially in the first couple of weeks, and I was sore all of the time.. and sure I am still sore all of the time, but seemingly a different kind of sore... a kind of sore that seems to have more (or seemingly deeper) muscle tone involved.

So, yeah, I am on day 45 right now, and there are articles that proclaim that sedentary folks start to lose muscle mass starting from their mid-30s, yet even elderly folks can regain muscle mass through resistance training, even though it could take a couple of months to really experience meaningful results... but then the above-linked article suggests resistance training at minimum of twice per week, and with these pushups, many of us are doing them daily.. which surely should help with the progress as long as we do not injure ourselves and/or over do it..

Basically, I reserve exercises for a morning and evening session when I can. I say when I can because, I skip days when I over sleep or just don’t feel like doing it for that day but, I still try though.

There have been many times that I have felt like skipping, but since push-ups can be done really quickly, I just decide to do as many pushups as I can, and then I end up either doing close to my full set, or maybe I just end up doing 70% of what might have had been able to do. .and so that keeps the progress going, even maybe if I ended up doing 30% to 50%, that would probably be better than skipping sessions, yet once I start doing the pushups, I usually cannot stop at 50%, so I usually will want to do more than 70%, and so I will find if I get to 70% and I am continuing to have energy and the pain is not that bad, I just keep going and in the end, I feel good about the session, even though I started out by not wanting to do it.. and even dreading getting started.

Meanwhile, I don’t know what 5 sets of push ups might be like. Like how do you split it within the day… it must come with ease but, you must have a lot of free time to session these exercises.

My first few days I was ONLY doing 2-3 sets per day, and then I started to add a 4th set to my days, and I thought that 4 sets was going to be my maximum for the day, but then after about 3 weeks, I was starting to feel as if I could do one more set each day, so I added in the 5th set.  I have not gone beyond 5 sets per day, and I have been doing 5 sets per day for about 3 weeks now.

I try to do my first set between 8am and 10am.. and then I do another set every 2-3 hours, and there may be some extra gaps in there too.

I don't think that it takes a lot of time to do them. .You just have to dedicate a few minutes every few hours, so maybe the whole day it is only 15-20 minutes dedicated to doing the pushups and writing them down.

And yeah, 205 is possible with that much session, takes a great deal of discipline too as you have to remind yourself and push yourself to doing the task at hand, not to mention, the pains that would be on your shoulders. Surely you are building endurance as you’ve noted with the numbers your able to achieve which wasn’t the case before.
Even I with a history of push ups haven’t achieved 205 in any particular day. The most I have done and that was in the past was around 170 push ups. Now, I stick around 125 push ups and below. Haven’t really being pushing for more but, I guess the sessions helps and that comes at a great deal of discipline.

Yeah, maybe your quantity depends on what you might be trying to achieve, and maybe balancing your other activities.  I am o.k. with increasing my number of pushups per day and even my number of pushups per set.. and it could be possible that I might be able to get into the neighborhood of 75 to 100 pushups in one set.. even though I question if I am going to be able to do that, since I had shared an article about young, in-shape military guys who gets stuck at 75 push ups, and not being able to do more in one set.. so maybe it might be more difficult for me to get up to or past that level, but I am still willing to continue to work at it and to find out if I might plateau at some given number, and then maybe if I plateau, then maybe I will change what I am doing after that.. . .but so far this seems to be working, and I am continuing to feel (and see) improvement.. and may be the main disadvantage is having some soreness and some tiredness and having to spend 15-20 minutes per day in the activity... and maybe will end up adding some more activities, which will take more time to carry out... but so far, it seems to be working out for me.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

It was a shocken experience that I had today, I wasn't expecting it because I have been long down doing push ups for quite some time now, the experience I had was that while I was actually doing my morning routine of push ups a friend Walk up to me and introduce a more reliable way of doing push-ups that will be challenging enough to booster muscle enlargement, which is to sustain and become more slower in your pushups, I gave it a try and all my body system changed instantly and vibrating like it was my first time such that am even  managing to type right now hence I see the need of prioritizing a more quality push ups than quantity if actually any one will want to experience muscles enlargement, the 100 pushups challenge can be done in different pacing, sessions and sets while striving to achieve it. Am very certain that if I could continue with this new method introduced to me by my friend trust me my muscles can never remain the same.
That means you have been doing the wrong push-ups since you started this challenge. This is the reason why some people don't see good results in workouts; they will be doing the wrong thing, thinking they are doing the right thing. It is better to do 10 push-ups in the right way than to do 100 push-ups in the wrong way because the 10 push-ups you are doing in the right way will be more effective for your body than the wrong 100 push-ups. I will advise you to watch the gym instructors do push-ups to know how to do the right push-up that makes your body develop.

I was only able face it by just giving a little  try  with the though"just little" and gets  motivated  anytime I try the little to do more, thus achieving the daily sets  Smiley , from little to achieving  more than expected is a good  achievement for everyday fitness and there's  no fitness without pain IMO

Yeah thanks for the advice mean while the new method  introduced to me is so much intensified and am feeling the massive impact of it because It has been very difficult for me during taking shower my arms  are in severe pains but I believe is going to reduce with time. Am already bent on never given up this challenge hence when It becomes more sore I will take a day off in other to rest and regain some energy because am very well convinced that if I continue my muscles are going to pop out sooner than I expect.

You will never be able to match your body's performance with the potential for bitcoin prices to rise. Because Bitcoin has grown so much in just one month you will notice that in February the price of Bitcoin was close to $50K from where it had already touched $73.6 in mid-March. So how can you increase the pushup so much by keeping the pressure on the body?
I think you never can. Because your body is more likely to run out of energy, you find yourself right to compete with the price of Bitcoin but the effort is extensive. I've done pushups, but I've done pushups in the past but bitcoin price increased overnight like today from $61k to $67k, an average of $7k but it's never possible to pushup 7 in one night. So the competition is sure to go ahead with Bitcoin.

Your observation on comparing the rapid growth of Bitcoin prices to physical performance like pushups is intriguing. Indeed, while Bitcoin's value has surged significantly recently, matching such exponential growth with physical exertion presents its own set of challenges. This comparison sheds light on the unique dynamics of both financial markets and physical fitness.

I know the pain you are feeling now will want to make you give up on these 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is $100k. In push-ups, pain is a major thing we need to overcome so that we will still find the push-ups interesting and continue with it. Just continue with your daily push-ups, and you will get used to the pain.

For sure, I am not in good shape, so it can frequently be difficult to continue to do them and even to start to do them.

I understand that there are guys who are even in worse shape than me, so surely they should still attempt to do just what they can and to continue to increase it. .and some guys maybe should not be doing full body pushups in the very beginning in order that they can get in some reps and allow the pushups to be easier.. because even if modified pushups are being done, it is likely that guys who do not exercise very much are still going to feel very sore and maybe even feel like they are going to die from doing 3-5 sets per day.. even if small number of sets of pushups from the knees or push ups standing against the wall but there likely would be some progress after a few weeks and even being able to do more and maybe even being able to progress into being able to do full body push-ups at some point.

I think that the fact that I am pushing my limits and increasing my quantity of pushups is continuing to cause me quite a bit of ongoing soreness and pain.

I am also thinking that some of the advantages can be that it is way easier to carry my groceries.. and so some of these pay-offs can really come in handy, from time to time.

I often encounter this and I see it as a challenge, it was hard for me to face it for months as I continue skipping  and procrastinating with the thought "i will do it tomorrow " and tomorrow started to feel like some endless loop Grin and i began to add weight Cheesy

I was only able face it by just giving a little  try  with the though"just little" and gets  motivated  anytime I try the little to do more, thus achieving the daily sets  Smiley , from little to achieving  more than expected is a good  achievement for everyday fitness and there's  no fitness without pain IMO

It's compulsory to feel pain, also maybe as a result of your age, your body is now getting weak to go hard on this exercise. Initially, it should get to a point where we are no longer expected to feel intense pain, we approach increasing the number we can do as time goes on starting from about 10 reps in a single move till our body gets used to that number and have to slightly increase it. I was once only able to do 10 push ups at an instant now I can bostfully do about 35 to 40 all at once.

Yes it kinda pays  off and you carrying  groceries some long distances  is part of it too Smiley
The pain Yeah! It will especially the push-ups  it gives lower arm and abdominal pain from burning the farts. Although,  I don't  know your age but  you can set some  days in a week maybe two to take a break from it or you can just do less maybe 5 pushups  or you can pick a particular  week to do this five pushups for a week maybe a week in a month .
Then from my experience  after pushups you try to extend  your chest by standing  between  maybe two pole , extending  your hands towards  the to poles with you in between , now go forth and backwards feeling  your chest expand and contract, you can do 10 to 15 of this as its  more easier and this way you should expand your chest .
You shouldn't  take it too far because  of age I think it makes the heart beats very much faster whenever you are doing the fitness  and you should eat more often to put up some little  farts not too much chunks, you should try  spicy food not before your pushups  but hours afyter your pushups (spicy food increase fitness faster from exp) o eat spicy noodles  alot  Grin not too much spicy though

If 100 a day is too much, maybe try to start with whatever "K" the Bitcoin price is at and work your way up to 100 along with Bitcoin.  Smiley

Who's in?!?!?

WOW! This is the real shit! I just like this idea and I'm tagging along ASAP.

I will be working with every Ks Bitcoin attains in the different days this push ups will last and I'm hoping by doing this it brings back my long forgotten fitness routine back on board.

Keeping the body fit is a necessity we shouldn't neglect regardless of how busy our schedules are and I'm jumping right into doing my first 70 pushups for a start to mark the movement from the current $67k to 70k.

Well, my fitness is awful. I hardly did 30 (10x3) push-ups. Hopefully, by the time BTC hits $100k, I will be doing a lot better than this.

Do not be worried about your fitness. The most important thing is that you are actively taking part in this challenge. With time, you will see improvements in your fitness. I like the strategy of 3 sets of 10 reps you adopted because it will make you not find it too hard to do your push-ups. If you are consistent with it and also do the right push-ups before bitcoin is $100k, you will do better in your push-ups.

I don't think anyone's push-ups can do anything to help Bitcoin rise. It doesn’t matter how many push-ups you do - 100 or 1000 per day, it does not affect the price of Bitcoin. Even if you are Satoshi Nakamoto and you do 1000 push-ups a day, the price will still not increase from this alone.
Yea for sure for me I don't think the numbers of push-up we do in this challenge we help increase or decrease the price of Bitcoin.
I see it as a personal way for one to gain fitness and also enjoy the benefit of exercise which at some point is been recommended by doctors to some sick patient to do exercise if not almost all the day but once in a while too that exercise is also a major way for one to enjoy a healthy life, for exercise is very essential to human body system.

I think Jay already got that figured out for himself, from his recent comments he even talked about spreading out the excerise between the days to reduce the effect of pain for age ones or those that can't well endure the rigorous excerise.

Yeah those quick meals to rehain strength isn't such a bad idea especially when you going far distance for your work out, maybe a gym or somewhere more convenient that your house with a lot of motivators, I enjoy doing my work out in the gym with lots of neighbour hood friends, it's fun lots of talking and it's easy to push myself since many of friends have been I to pushups quite longer than me so It's just easier to do up to that 100 push ups.

With less than a month to go until the halving it seems like Bitcoin is ready to make another push upwards in an attempt to get to $100K before then.  I have my fingers crossed, but am prepared to continue on with this challenge for longer than that if necessary.  It's become pretty easy for me to get through the push-ups, but my lingering elbow pain is still there and more present now that I'm doing sets of 50 every now and again.  I'm sure a couple days off would make a world of difference pain wise for me, but that's what makes it a challenge.  On days like yesterday when I'm doing a lot of manual labor it would be very easy for me to skip a day, but I'm proud to report that I have done 100 push-ups per day every day going on 49 days now. The consistency is the hard part.

So that 62k is the floor? I do still expect that there would really be some drop as we fast approach before halving period but well if that was the last then $100k isnt really that too far off.
In regarding about the exercise or push-ups then im not really just doing solely push-ups but also with curl-ups and with some jumping ropes on day to day until we do hit 100k.
Even myself do set about $150k on which it might be that too far but i dont mind because having these exercises doesnt really give out a bad effect to body but rather the opposite.
You arent really just that making yourself on waiting for you to profit but also you are making yourself that healthy on which we know that health is wealth as always.
So keep pushing and grinding before i would be able to hit up that damn hard 100 push ups per day.

I would give you credit for your consistency before I say anything else. I don't think someone would continue doing 100 push-ups every day if they have pain in the elbow or around any area that takes the load when doing the exercise. However, if you are continuously doing that while having pain, that's commendable.
I would suggest that you split the 100 into sets of 20 or maybe 25 and do it 4 times a day to avoid putting too much burden on your elbow, this will ease the pain while you can keep your consistency intact.

It's really not easy to maintain a regular 100 push ups every day because the more consistent you are in doing pushups every day, that's how the muscles develop very huge and thereby continues extreme pushups tends to be very painful as sometimes it requires some painkiller drugs before the pains can subside a bit.

Honestly, after I did 100 pushups for a couple of days, I couldn't go 100 anymore because of severe pains and my muscles becoming larger and I don't want to look like a super man lol, so I've made a reduction to between 65-70 pushups a day.

For me I don't share my pushups so basically, I just do a round and try as much as possible to meet my target afterwhich I stop and focus on other necessary activities for the day.
