I got 4 sets of 30 in today. Felt good. I don’t think I’ve intentionally went over 100 in a day before but I feel like I’m back in a pretty good groove. I’m eyeballing hitting 6,000 on April first. I wonder how close this thread is now to a combined total of 100,000 push-ups. Maybe we should schedule a check-in date.
A check date won't be bad though. I know I have been consistent with my personal push up every day, even though am not constantly updating here I haven't stopped doing the challenge. This challenge is part of my daily routine and if I haven't done it, my body system is never the same anymore as i will be feeling restless.

I passed out last night and found myself waking up at 1:30am in a panic that I didn’t get my last set in. So I dropped and did 20 push-ups before making my way to bed. So I guess technically my streak is broken, but I still got my 100 push-ups in during a 24 hour period so I’m still counting it. I’m just going on pacific time minus 2 hours now.

One of the benefits of this challenge is that it has reminded majority of us of how we were in one way other into doing push-ups and stopped at some point of our life am really glad to be participating in this because it has brought out the guyman I use to be before Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes yes that is true to be honest, and there are things I do more easier now, I eat well and sleep very too more than how i uses to. Am really super excited to be participating in this challenge. Evening session done and pretty good.

Well give us some numbers then in order that we don't start to believe that you quit on us (and left us hanging).

So I guess technically my streak is broken, but I still got my 100 push-ups in during a 24 hour period so I’m still counting it. I’m just going on pacific time minus 2 hours now.

Do you know about the statement:  "it's 5 o'clock somewhere?"  Similar idea.

I will admit that I have had a few sets that were "technically" beyond midnight, and I don't even enter them into my own table with an after midnight time.. .. I will generally put them somewhere in the range of "23:56 and 23:59" so they would not be distinguishable from other sets that I actually in facts squeezed in right before midnight.

So far, my after mid-night pushup sets have been within about 20  minutes of midnight... but even if I were to do it within a few hours of midnight, I might have to consider them as being within a "prior to sun-rise" kind of framework... so maybe my own personal rule would be that the dates must all fall prior to midnight even though some of the actual sets were performed prior to sunrise..   I probably could not live with myself if I were to count a pushup set that happened after sunrise as being in the prior date.

Otherwise, I try to be fairly accurate about my documented times because I tend to want to be able peruse my list to see if there might be some issue with recovery times (so time-intervals between sets) whether during the day or the intervals between the last set of the prior day and the first set of the next day..

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

It was really an exciting moment at our picnic party today which normally hold every Easter Saturday for all undergraduate in our clan.

We all had fun, meet old friends for it was a different thing unlike before, there were different types sports and exercises competition, like swimming competition, table-tennis, snooker and push-up exercise which was also added, you can participate in which ever one you are good on so I gave it a thought that since we are still in a 100 push-up challenge till Bitcoin hit $100k that I will go for push-up though am also good at swimming but is been long I swim meanwhile push up has been my daily routine which I know am fit for it though it wasn't an easy one for I never knew some of my competitors were also good at push-up so I came out second position with a total of 48 push-up in a stretch while the guy that took 1st position made it at 51 push-up in a stretch and I congratulated him but took it as a challenge to push more which I know I will accomplish to hit above my limit before BTC will hit $100k and above.

That does not sound like very many push-ups for a competition - especially since I am an old fart, and I was able to get up to 55 pushups after 45 days of training...  and I surely do not consider myself to be competition material, when it comes to pushups..

Another thing is that maybe it would be good for you to describe if there were any rules for the pushups for the competition?  Did they tell you how fast to do them or how far up or down you needed to go with each one?  Did they tell you about a certain kind of posture that you needed to have.. such as keeping your body straight during the pushups?

That might teach us to find some kind of a groove.. even though you had said that you were doing the slower pushups.. so yeah they are likely more difficult than the ones that I am doing... . which still are right around 1 second per pushup.. and I am frequently tempted to go faster so that I can do more.. and no matter what they hurt since I end up pretty much pushing myself to failure.. and if I slow down then I end up doing fewer.. so I am thinking that a couple of weeks of my measuring my pushup speed will help to inform me whether I might want to make adjustments to either the speed or the quantity or just keep going more or less with what I am doing.

You keep going more not less probably increasing your count per each set You carry out (quantity) and also ensuring an equivalent speed not pushing yourself too much to avoid breakdown.
Those that tend to increase there speed during push-up only build  Endurance and do less when in a slower pace,while those doing slower push-up build strength. This is the difference between both, so it geared towards the individual which is favorable and appreciative to our general well-being.
For me, I do 20 push-up per each set, At 2 intervals I go fast and another 2 intervals I go slower  most at times it very much difficult pushing after a slower pace interval.

My next target now is increasing my count from 20 to 25 per each set, also doing 20 squats before my push-up.

We were never told how fast or far up or down but there where rules on how to go about it which is keeping the body straight and also doing it well, the competition was just for fun there were no intention for it not until we go there and it was announced.

100 pushups is an overkill for a normal person. I can do 1. I'll not be able to do such a challenge. But challenging ownself with something that helps our health relating to something that we desire but have no role to play in its achievement could be a good moral to do exercise. I too have a daily work out routine but I misses it often. From tomorrow, i.e. April 1, I'll challenge myself with 20 situps, 20 squats, 20 min plank, 20 pushups (on long run) and 20 dumb bell lifts. That makes 100. I'll post again to tell about my success when bitcoin reaches $100K

On a norm exercises keeps the body fit and makes us stay healthy especially when we eat healthy foods because we shouldn't just eat because we are hungry instead we should eat foods with high level of nutritional value and eating good food after an exercise is surely a good way to stay healthy.

I do pushups in the past but at some point I just stopped because my shoulder muscles were getting too large and my chest broadening so I was really trying not to be too muscular. Though those days I use to be attracted to some girls because they like guys with muscles, they believe any guy with huge muscles got a lot of strength lol. I use some of those girls as a way of doing pushups during coitus, what am I even saying. Lol

I will participate with this challenge. I will succeed in 100 push ups before Bitcoin reaches $100k. My challenge will start from today (20/03/2024).

I am 27 years old and surely I can win with this challenge.  I am already used to push ups. I can do like 50 pushups a day now.  If I can go with the challenge then surely I will win this challenge and succeed in 100 push ups before Bitcoin goes to $100k.

I am very careful about my health consciousness due to which I walk for minimum 45 to 50 minutes in the morning every day. I do push ups and bought some gym equipment and do gym with that equipment for 30 minutes every day. I am fairly healthy, I am not infected with any disease. If a person walks for 30 to 40 minutes every morning for his good health, he will surely be very healthy.

I participated in 100 push up challenge on 20/03/2024. When I first participated in the challenge I could do 50 push ups. I do push ups regularly with the 10 day challenge and now I can do 60 push ups.  But since I did the challenge, I must succeed in 100 push up challenges before I reach btc $100k. I am not willing to lose this challenge I will definitely win this challenge, I can work hard to succeed in any challenge.

Participating in the 100 push-up challenge gave me a toned body. My body is much healthier than before. If I do push ups regularly I think my health will be very good and diseases will not attack me. Health is a human resource. If this wealth is affected by disease, then there is nothing more painful. So everyone be aware of health awareness there are many users who can't do push ups atleast they should walk for one hour every morning. A person will be healthy even if he walks for one hour every morning and evening.

Today I started doing pushups in the morning and was only able to do three push ups. On the third attempt I was only able to do 17 push ups. I guess I need to improve the food to increase the push up, the more energy the body produces the more I can push up. Of course since I accepted the challenge I must be able to give 100 push ups before reaching 100 bitcoins.

My next target now is increasing my count from 20 to 25 per each set, also doing 20 squats before my push-up.

They can do up to 30 push-ups before they start feeling pain in their body because less strength is required when you increase your speed. Those who are slow during push-ups do fewer push-ups because they put in a lot of stamina during push-ups, and if you are not strong enough, you cannot do up to  20 push-ups in a set.

Today I started doing pushups in the morning and was only able to do three push ups. On the third attempt I was only able to do 17 push ups. I guess I need to improve the food to increase the push up, the more energy the body produces the more I can push up. Of course since I accepted the challenge I must be able to give 100 push ups before reaching 100 bitcoins.

Yes pushups can more difficult for a new starter, you need to take it easy by doing it one step at a time, however doing push-ups comes with pains but you have to endure it up to a certain point before having some rest, enduring the pains is more like building up stamina to break your limit.

What is happening to you is very normal for a starter and not just because of food, yes of a truth good dietary is very good along side with exercise.

Keep doing the few you can and do it on different pacing and you will be surprised how you will gradually break your present limit.

This challenge is actually for people who have bought and hodl Bitcoin for a long time so I don't see any reason why someone that didn't accumulate Bitcoin will take part in the challenge because someone who have a good amount of Bitcoin would take this challenge seriously unlike someone who doesn't accumulate at all.
I don't think it is actually for people who has bought and hodl Bitcoin, any body can participate in this 100 push-up challenge there is this adage that says what is good for the goose is also good for the gander so I don't think there is anybody here in this forum who knows the benefits of exercise that will refuse to participate in this push-up challenge, exercise is very good for our health it keeps us fit and also gives the body a good relaxation at the end of the day after a better exercise done.

Understand me correctly, I didn't mean that it's only for those that has bought Bitcoin alone I was trying to emphasize that it is good to buy Bitcoin and hodl before taking part in the challenge so that it will give more energy to continue because you actually know that you have a target.

I know it is also a form of exercising our body while doing it but just take for instance you have some good amount of Bitcoin and the price of Bitcoin is pumping wouldn't you be so excited and even you can decide to go above the stipulated 100 push ups for the challenge because of over excitement lol

If someone doesn't have the money to buy and hodl Bitcoin he/she should at least also benefit from the good divident in this push-up exercise, so that one can't loss completely lossing for not accumulating Bitcoin and also lossing the benefits and a healthy life which also come from doing exercises.
One can also be motivated to continue on this push-up after seeing the benefits in it even with out accumulating BTC.

That might teach us to find some kind of a groove.. even though you had said that you were doing the slower pushups.. so yeah they are likely more difficult than the ones that I am doing... . which still are right around 1 second per pushup.. and I am frequently tempted to go faster so that I can do more.. and no matter what they hurt since I end up pretty much pushing myself to failure.. and if I slow down then I end up doing fewer.. so I am thinking that a couple of weeks of my measuring my pushup speed will help to inform me whether I might want to make adjustments to either the speed or the quantity or just keep going more or less with what I am doing.

When you do push-ups slowly, it puts a lot of stress on the muscles of your arms.There is a tendency to do fast push-ups at the beginning of each set but slow down over time. But if you can rest for 3-5 seconds on both hands in the middle of each set then you can increase more push-ups.The more tolerant you are of putting pressure on your entire body, the more you will benefit. The stronger your endurance level, and more you can push-up.
It's 20 days for me... I regularly complete 4 or 5 sets per day and do 40-45 push-ups at various times throughout the day. I even complete 2 sets in between work at the office. My body fat has started to melt and my weight has dropped by 5 kgs which is very pleasure for me.

My girlfriend visited me yesterday, and she noticed there was a change in my body. She was surprised and asked if I had started going to the gym to lift weights again. I told her it was the 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is a $100k challenge that has helped change my body to this new look. I even showed her this thread, and she was happy that everyone was sharing their experience with the challenge. I managed to convince her that she would be doing 100 squats anytime I'm doing my 100 push-ups, and she accepted.

You shouldn't be surprised that you were able to hit only 3 push-up at first and later completed 17 on your third attempt that is because you just started.
The journey of a thansand miles they say begin with a step so you are already on it don't allow the pains that you received during and after your push-up exercise discourage you not to continue with it for there are good benefits attached to it, but sometime it doesn't necessarily mean that one must eat plenty of food in other to increase your push-up limit sometimes doing your push-up continuously and regularly step after step can also help increase your push-up limit, though food is also an important tool that helps generate energy for the work to be done aswell because one will also need to eat some proteinous food after stressing up the body system to energized it inorder to be able to carry out another push-up exercise after having some rest.

I love to do push up since past time, I am 30 plus I love to exercise. I joined the gym around 2016, and I can do about 55 plus push ups. After getting this topic my competition increased from today, and I found the positive side because I can tackle this challenge with my post up. 30 March 2024 , my first push up- started & I managed to complete about 40 push ups that day but today I am amazed that just doing exercise and pushups can drastically change the body and become a habit.
40 Push up for stating day.
42 push up second day .
If I continue to increase my push-ups by two each day, I will soon reach 100 before the halving.  But Bitcoin may not be 100k before April halving but I want to continue practicing my push ups.
