Previous days report.
It escaped me I haven't posted them since.

3 days to Bitcoin halving
I'm planning on doing 150 a day till on the 20th
Would have loved 200, but doing 130 yesterday despite my busy schedule is my current limit.

@Dirtykeyboard it seems you still dabble in BB code
Can you recommend any Grid paper apps or platform that makes use of ASCII.
Recently downloaded Character pad and Unicode app but they don't seem like what am looking for
I need something I can use in creating images via BB code.
An intermediate noon is BB code and am interested in improving.
Thanks in advance

For those who are having difficulty maintaining a certain number of push-ups in each set, such as doing 15 push-ups each in 5 sets, when you are doing your push-up, do not be in a rush to complete your push-up. Always take a minimum of 20 minutes to rest before you can start another set so that you will have enough strength to do the same number of push-ups you did in your first set.

It is not possible for any person to do continuous push ups, of course rest is required. It's been about a month since I took this challenge and I've made some progress and my wardrobe is almost 40, the halving is very close. I intended to complete 100 push-ups prior to the halving, but I failed to complete the one that must be used after the halving. As far as possible I am eating nutritious food to save body energy and try to build myself strong through more exercises regularly to increase push up speed. But I will complete my challenge before I reach 100 bitcoins, and because of taking this challenge my physique and my body are much fresher than before, I am getting great benefits and my diabetes is under control.

5 days ago was the first time I saw this thread  and I  decided to engage in it, because I’m a grassroot footballer who wish to go Pro someday, so for me it like killing 2 bird with one stone. Ever since I started the push up journey it has not been easy, I feel pains from my shoulder down to my abs, I thought of using pain killer but my friends told me that how it suppose to be for now that with time the pain wil go away. I’m not giving up on my push-up journey so will endure the pain till it goes away.

So I started my push up journey with 20 in the morning and 20 in the night, and ever since I have been increasing the numbers and this morning is the first time I’m trying out 30 push-ups and I’m really excited, tho my arms feel so heavy and weak but I endured it, I really hope I can do 30 push up in the night too, that will be a total of 60 push ups. I’m making progress and I’m really excited about it. My target will be before the end of this week I should be on 35 or 40 push ups.
It is normal for you to feel pain because you are new to push-up or this is the first time you are serious about doing push-ups. Since you are feeling pain in your body, it is not wise for you to level up the number you do in a set to 30 push-ups so that the pain will not stop you from achieving it. You can reduce your push-up to 15 or maintain the 20 push-ups you do in a set so that you can endure the pain and gain stamina that will allow you to hit 30 push-ups in a set without feeling much pain.

I think 20mins is too much to take a rest, when you feel that tiredness while doing the push up and you don't stop that's when you get the effects more and 30secs is enough for a rest. Whenever you rest for long like up to 20mins like you said, it might discourage you from continuing the task for the day, for me I do 100 every morning with some other fitness exercises, 30secs rest and I go again, like 2 to 3 times repeating same process even at night and whenever you do your exercise take a lot of water,  it helps.

This challenge made some people do push-ups for the first time in their lives. If they adopt this 30-second rest before they start another set, they may want to quit this challenge because they will not have enough strength to even do up to five push-ups in the second set. If I adopt this strategy, I will not maintain my 50 push-ups in a set because my body will not get enough rest that will allow me to endure pain and still push until I reach 50 push-ups in my second set. Taking enough rest when working out is important for our bodies.

I agree with you but you must know that it all depends on the individual and if you're use to it you won't feel like having that 20mins rest, you'll continue going on with the push up and it will be more fun, just like a child eating chocolate, you won't want like to stop but continue doing it because your body has adapted to it. Well, I'd say you should continue with whatever strategy that suit you, let's hope the upcoming days will be on the positive side with Bitcoin price going higher and also giving us that motivation to continue the challenge.

I know what you are talking about because I used this type of strategy when I did a chest workout with my friend, and I must say it requires a lot of strength to keep up with it. Since we are not in competition here, we need a strategy that will allow us to have enough rest. We can even take some days off from this challenge just to get enough rest if our bodies are stressed out so much.

This is very important, we don't have to take the challenge as a military work. Yes we have to be committed to the challenge, but it shouldn't come to you as a burden. If you make it looks like a burden to you, you won't enjoy the challenge. You should spread out your sets, so don't be much of a stress to you. Moreover nobody is punishing you for not doing all sets at a stretch.

If our bodies are not necessarily young, and so if we do pushups throughout the day, there may be 3-6 hours between sets.. and depending on if there are 3 or 5 sets in a day, or maybe even more, but I have personally found  5 sets in a day scattered through the whole day to be helpful to be able to carry out the task, including that there continues to be a lot of soreness when adding this kind of activity to a routine and maybe either we had not been doing this kind of activity or that some of us are not very young, so there can be issues with recuperation time.. some older folks might have to start with just a couple sets per day, but then it probably still could be good to try to do something like 5 sets throughout the day, and just trying to figure out how many pushups per set are manageable to balance the soreness, the recuperation time and strength to do more pushups without injuring oneself or overly exhausting ones whole system (including psychology).

[edited out]

Another thing is doing pushups every single day for 100 days or more. The strategy needs to be more careful in order to not wear ourselves out and to be able to keep doing them day after day after day, and if we overdo how many pushups at a time or put them all together in quick sessions, we may well cause ourselves to become too sore, even though sure maybe some younger members are going to be able to accomplish those quick short sessions without having problems in being able to continue to do them day after day after day.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

I am so proud to say am glad participating in this challenge, yes at a point in life I was doing push-ups back then in the college but after college life took me to another dimension and I forget about pushups  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes but this challenge has given me the opportunity of taken in to consideration of doing push-ups once again in my life, yeah am still very young and energetic to be hitting up pushups, most of my clothes are becoming body tight as a significant of the ongoing challenge. Yes am happy doing it pretty much easily in different sessions and sets, and I don't think I will be stopping even seeing Bitcoin getting to $100k and above. Hey, doing push-ups is another way of increasing your stamina and lasting longer during sex.

Bitcoin is headed to $100,000 and that's not speculation. OK, maybe it is, but the 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K challenge is real and has been echoing throughout the community for a week now, so I thought I would make a thread here for those of us who want to try and hold ourselves accountable.

The first video that comes up when you do a quick search for this is Jae from Proof of Work Fitness, so I'll give him credit for kicking off this trend until someone corrects me with better information.  You can see his video about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPrsA7gBc3U

I myself started this challenge on 2/2/24 and hope to inspire other Bitcoiners to take this step to help build some muscle in the community.

Here's a video showing you what happens to your body after doing 100 push-ups a day for a month and gives some tips on proper form: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euPXf2hqU3s

My only real tips would be to not worry about trying to do 100 push-ups at once.  Break them down into as small of sets as you need to keep from hurting yourself.  I also prefer doing push-ups on my knuckles as I think it saves my wrists from a lot of stress.

If 100 a day is too much, maybe try to start with whatever "K" the Bitcoin price is at and work your way up to 100 along with Bitcoin.  Smiley

Who's in?!?!?

Want to be included on the spreadsheet tracking everyone's push-ups?  Below is the format to post your progress in order to be added to the spreadsheet.
My example: 100k,OgNasty,69,6900,2024-04-10

[Format(notice no spaces): "100k,UserName,DaysDoingPushups,TotalPushupsDone,yyyy-mm-dd"
This would be the first 3 posts of a new participant named Pushupper who completed 20 pushups on day 1, 30 pushups on day 2, and 30 pushups again on day 3.

Day 1 post include = "100k,Pushupper,1,20,2024-03-15"
Day 2 post include = "100k,Pushupper,2,50,2024-03-16"
Day 3 post include = "100k,Pushupper,3,80,2024-03-17"]

The quotes won't matter to the script and might help emphasize the no spaces rule?
I regretted not joining this100 Push-up a day on time but am still happy because its never too late to start. Before now I usually struggle to do 50 push-up a day but with the way people of this group are to determine over it,I started going 150 push-up a day and am so sorry happy over my improvement and if I continue this way,in  month time I will be going 200 push-up a day.

This challenge came quite a while ago, but unfortunately the price of Bitcoin has dropped again, I think this challenge is going to last for quite some time, because the price of Bitcoin is currently $66,738.23. But I decided that I will keep doing Push-Ups until Bitcoin goes above 100K, I completed the challenge of 100 Push-Ups in three days, the day after I completed 100 Push-Ups in three days I did 20 Push-Ups and I increase the 1push-ups per day, ie the day after I finish the challenge I do 20 push-ups, the second day I do 21 push-ups, the third day I do 22 push-ups, the fourth day I do 23 push-ups. -Doing Ups, this way I increase Push-Ups by one per day, today is my 41st day after completing the challenge, in these 41 days I have done a total of 1640 Push-Ups. And on this 41st day I had to do a total of 60 Push-Ups. I have decided that I will continue with this challenge until Bitcoin crosses 100K. Since I do Increase 1 Push-Ups every day, I hope that before the day I do 100 Push-Ups, the value of Bitcoin will cross 100K.

That has turned out to be a good method Ricardo11, even though maybe it is a bit whimpy on the amount of pushup increases, since your body gets used to pushups and it can probably increase more than 1 push up per day, but hey whatever, you do you.

Regarding getting to $100k by the time you get to 100 pushups (that is in 40-ish days), it does not seem to be very likely to be expecting that.

Never say never, but that seems to be a bit of wishful-thinking - even though I am still anticipating decently good chances that sometime this year (2024) we will get BTC prices between $120k and $180k.. yet I am thinking that if BTC prices get into that range at some point in 2024, then there would potentially be some balancing in that price range prior to figuring out if the price might go higher or not, a .. including decently good chances of having some kind of a higher ATH price in 2025 as compared to whatever ATH ends up being reached in 2024 - and hopefully the $73,794 that we already reached in this year is not the ONLY ATH for this year.  We cannot know, except we know that there seems to be a quite a bit of ongoing buying pressure.

In fact, according to the current situation of Bitcoin, it seems a bit impossible for me to get the price of Bitcoin to 100k in the next 38 days, in fact, according to the current situation of Bitcoin, it seems that Bitcoin will be pumping not very soon.

I am so optimistic about Bitcoin, I have decided that I will continue this challenge until the price of Bitcoin crosses 100K, even if I have to wait until the day I do 100 push-ups or 150 push-ups in one day. I agreed to wait and I will continue the challenge by increasing the push-ups by one each day. My body has become accustomed to giving push-ups like this every day.

Today is day 43 of my push-ups challenge, and I've done 62 push-ups today, and my total push-ups since the challenge started is 1,763push-ups.

Please pray for me, that I can continue the challenge well till the end, and that the value of Bitcoin will cross 100K very soon.

I think 20mins is too much to take a rest, when you feel that tiredness while doing the push up and you don't stop that's when you get the effects more, and 30 seconds is enough for a rest.

I quite agree with you on giving it a break but what's in you is in you and nothing can take it away from you. Doing this push up with friends is even more fun because at some point if you're the type that hardly exercise the body you use your friends as motivation to keep up and you find out that you're doing better than when you're doing it alone even if is not a competition but you take it as a challenge. Resting the body is good to avoid falling ill (to some), it ones happened to me but ever since it got used to me I don't feel that stress when doing it.

How frequent one keeps engaging in this push up exercises, the body gets to adjust and increases the number significantly, aswell in terms of stamina for other activities. Back then,  I would hardly do even as little as 10 pulls ups on a hanged iron bar but now I can confidently exceed that number. I love the way our body is programed, we quickly get adaptive to things we find difficult, once we keep it consistent it's much easier even strong enough to go through the pains at the very beginning.

You don't have to feel regret in any way and you are  welcome to the challenge. However, it is very important to know that in as much it is good to be committed or being serious about this challenge, it will be very unwise to over doing it probably as a result of you joining late, it is not a competition neither is  there any award to be given  at end to the winner, you don't have to be much aggressive or over aggressive about it with the fear that you have or are missing out to enable you not to be injured in the process, you have to see it as a fun to enable you enjoy the challenge, you can do as little as your body can carry in different sets and sessions, while you improve gradually as time goes on. Moreso, other people performance are only there to encourage you but shouldn't be seen as a competition.

Using the format, you are supposed to have something like this,

100k,Ricardo11,43,1763,2024-04-17

You don't have to make this challenge looks like a do or die, all you needed is to do as  much as you can at your convenient and you don't neee any one prayers about that neither does Bitcoin needs prayers to cross 100k very soon

I agree with you, JayJuanGee. Since we are doing this push-up every day, it is good for us not to be aggressive when carrying out our push-ups so that we can still be fit to keep doing this every day until Bitcoin reaches $100k. Everyone should examine any strategies shared here thoroughly to know if they will suit their body strength so that there will not be any shoulder injury in this challenge.

I started off the challenge spreading 5 sets of 20s throughout the day, but I've come to realize that by going 5 sets, I get exhausted and drained pretty fast and I'm unable to manage the soreness by trying to maintain 5 sets. I may not be that old but definitely not in my prime, so I'm assuming this is because ive not been doing this kind of activity in a long while, Hence the reason why I find it pretty challenging keeping up with 5 sets. so right now, I'm left with 2 options, reduce the number of push ups I go per set or increase the number of sets i go in order for me to keep up and also be able to balance the soreness.

I would've considered reducing the number of push ups per set (5) but that'll mean that I'll not be able to actualize the goal of hitting at least a 100 push ups per day.
So since I'm very enthusiastic about accomplishing the task and hitting the daily target, I've decided to increase the number of sets to 6 and reducing the number of push ups to 17 which should give me a total of 102 push ups per day.
I already concluded 4 sets and I've observed that spreading 6 sets of 17 push ups has helped me manage to balance the soreness.
And I've also chosen the the recuperation time between each sets to be at least 2 hours and it fits perfectly on my schedule so I shouldn't be having problems performing the task now.

You're right
Pacing oneself should be one of the most important things to be considered essential when performing a fitness challenge such as this one.
If one fails to maintain a good pace and get too carried away and push too hard and too quickly, they may end up getting sore and burned out very quickly before even lasting up to a week.

While it's important to have the objective of this challenge in mind, it's also very crucial to maintain a good pace, consistency and gradual progression should be our number one guide through the challenge. If you observe that your current technique isn't favourable for you, then there is no shame in making some adjustments, everyone must not use the same technique to achieve the same result.

If your body isn't able to manage going a 100 per day, then you can possibly reduce the number of push ups per day or you sort of a more easier technique to help you achieve your daily goals without wearing yourself out.
