As per the official statement from Jake Paul, they said that they will announce a new date on June 7. So that will be tomorrow if I'm not mistaken so for sure fans and those who have bought the tickets already are looking forward to it so that they can adjust with the new date or just take the refund if they can't make it.

But it will be interesting to see if there will be a new replacement or it will still be Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul with a new date.

The postponement is of course disappointing tens of thousands of people who have bought tickets, but if we talk about health, of course we can't deny that this is probably the most realistic reason to give given Tyson current condition and age, but I think if Tyson health does not allow fighting, maybe later it will be delayed again and of course ticket refunds can be a solution for us finally, From the health aspect, of course, usually for those who are 50 years old, there are many complications that are likely to be suffered, so with the current postponement due to health reasons, of course I am inclined to see if the fight between Tyson and Jake Paul may be canceled later because indeed with Tyson current health factor, of course, it will be very risky for his safety.

This means, more preparation time for Tyson. If Tyson will get serious on this fight, I believe he can easily knock down Paul. Tyson has still juice on this sports so hopefully he won't fail his fans.  
Date has not yet been changed on Jake's X account though.

For now, Paul seems to be the favourite on this match. This may change as the fight goes near like in October. Also, the over 5.5 is more favoured for now. Can this match really go beyond 5 rounds? If these 2 will be very careful and try to avoid each other, yes, definitely this fight will go the distance. But if one of them run out of gas, this can easily finished early. For sure, a lot of boxing fans are anticipating on this fight because of Tyson. Promoters are also milking on this factor.

That's good news, true to his words, Jake Paul announced in June 7, and so there is no replacement fighter, but it will still be Iron Mike, we just have a new date of November so everything is good now. So hopefully, by now, Tyson is getting his body healed and be 100% ready in the fight because that's what they are aiming for here.

Maybe Jake Paul's beard will be large enough by November to just absorb any punch to his jaw and avoid the worst impacts of actual boxing taking place and having to handle that.

LOL, but he is gaining weight still, I'm not sure, but he could be close to 200 lbs or even more in this fight as this is a heavyweight fighter that he is facing. His beard will not help him if Tyson landed his power on that chin.

According to one of my old friend he said Mike is living under an old glory which I find that statement to be true.

He had already retired and it would really be not that much of an issue if ever he would really be losing this fight, and bare in mind that we are talking about exhibition fight on here on which simply means that this is really just that for fun and not something that you would really be that focusing yourself about trying out to protect your reputation or whatever it would be.

I don't believe they are unfounded, I am absolutely certain that they have a replacement for both of them. And if in doubt, there is a fight already prepared. An event of this magnitude should have had a backup fight from the beginning, and these most recent difficulties only proved that.

If, with all this, they didn't act on a replacement, they are very amateurish.

That was his plan though, to become to a professional boxer or at least some governing bodies will recognized his accomplished and then rank him up so that there will be a opportunity for him and who knows, maybe he will step up the plate and fight contenders next.

As for just having 1 fight for this year, it might be good for him though. He will make a lot of money here already and so it might offset everything instead of getting 2 fights with just meager money, at least here just 1 shot and it might be 8 figures for him.

I don't think people see Jake Paul as a villain who beats the elderly... they are just making money... after influencers and legends from the past of the sport form partnerships, it's like the infinite money cheat... these are things that people They want to watch and they will pay a lot for it.... I believe that even when Mike is sick, he will enter the ring, maybe just to pretend to fight... people want to see him...

What you wrote makes perfect sense... The sport has evolved a lot in all areas, especially in personalized training focused on getting the best out of the athlete... Waiting to see the Mike of the past will be a disappointment. Mike Tyson athlete from the past, he "died" in the 80s, this Mike is another, he is a man of almost 60 years old...

Everything that will happen in this fight is like going to a Madonna concert... you will see her live, but she doesn't even sing and there isn't even a band playing live... Whoever goes there has to be aware that it is just an act... like two actors.
