I have had similar situations several times, and I became so disappointed in multi-bets and in my ability to evaluate sports events that I decided to step away from it. I have never managed to win a multi-bet, even when it had only three outcomes and relatively low odds. Apparently, sports betting is simply not for me at all.

Yes, I always aim for a high multiplier, somewhere around 100x+. Even if I won this bet, I'd bet the entire amount won at least 3x. I don't see much point in winning $50-$100. My main goal is entertainment, so I want some kind of memorable milestone. I've won a couple of bets with a 100x multiplier, and that was worth about $2,000. This season, this task looks more difficult because the overwhelming majority of teams play randomly and inconsistently. And those which play consistently do not provide favorable odds.

Exactly, the odds are too low for teams that play consistently. And sometimes, more precisely this season, those "safe" matches are the ones that end up ruining my tickets. This season is, like you said, unpredictable, and it’s hard to hit a winning ticket. Here you lost on Atletico Madrid, specifically the handicap, but you did hit some good odds as well. Next time you play, leave some picks that you actually think have a chance of going through

Atlético Madrid is a team you can not trust. One day they are scoring so many goals, the other day they can't even score 1 goal. They are like Chelsea this season in the Premier League if you know what I mean  

But overall, your strategy for fun betting is awesome, if you win all, it will be massive

Have you been playing this way for a while, or just for the last four bets of your last free bet? I'd be interested to know whether the 1:4 odds will remain the same in the long term, or whether it was just “luck” this time.

In any case, I'm going to try a similar strategy for my next bet and not put everything on a “safe” multi bet. Unfortunately, that didn't work in either the English Premier League or the German Bundesliga, and I lost my entire stake every time.

That's indeed a good strategy but sometimes there's chance of losing all four bets but it's still better to place 4 bets on different matches than going all in on a single match with low odds. Winning even a single high odd bet is enough to cover most losses.

Why not to modify your strategy and instead of 4 bets you might place 7 bets on such high odds, in 7 bets the chance of risk gets reduced a little and also there's chance of winning multiple bets with a deposit sometimes.

Multi-bet works well for the ones who're very lucky but sometimes it hurts as well to lose some matches in a multi bet where chance of winning was higher.

To be honest, I would also be interested in that. I haven't withdrawn any money from Whale.io for a while now (you can see why in my multi-bets posted here ), but even the last time I did, I definitely paid fees for the withdrawal, albeit very few.

If that's actually true, Whale should definitely advertise it more, as it's a great feature for frequent players. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything about it on social media or in the FAQs!

To be honest, I'm surprised that the odds for Barcelona are so high here. Barca are playing excellently this season and have only lost one of their last five away games. They are also clear leaders in the table and have a very good chance of winning the championship, with a 13-point lead in third place. Newcastle, on the other hand, are playing a rather mixed game and have also lost a few of their last games clearly.

But that's fine with me, as it improves the overall odds considerably!
