Another good win with 1.5 odds and that shows you're getting better at predicting the outcome of the matches. To be honest, I always try to see your bets because those bets are quite entertaining and one could really learn from those bets. By the way, when you place bets, do you conduct any research or it's purely based on the match and teams?

Yes, that’s most likely the case. That’s exactly why I don’t put much stock in review platforms like Trustpilot—because anyone can post a review there about something that might not even be true. It could be a competitor or someone who wants to get back at the casino because they lost a lot of money.

I much prefer other review platforms where you at least have to prove that you’ve actually used the platform.

I first came across Trustpilot during a very unpleasant situation when the platform Trustee Plus froze my USDC last year. Their support was working very poorly, so I ended up using every possible communication channel, including Trustpilot. I have to say that Trustee Plus responded to my reviews there much faster and more effectively than in their in-app support chat. But I also provided a lot of proof that my case was real and that I had genuinely encountered this issue.

At the same time, I understand exactly what you mean. Literally a few hours after I posted my negative review, a huge number of positive reviews suddenly appeared on their Trustpilot profile. It was obvious they were one-liners, some without any text at all, just 5-star ratings. It was pretty clear these were paid or bot reviews rather than real users, especially since before my review they had very few reviews overall.

So yes, you definitely shouldn’t rely on platforms like that. You can take them into account, but you shouldn’t form your entire opinion about a service based solely on Trustpilot or similar sites.

Thanks for the insight, @etranger. It’s really interesting to read how Trustpilot responds when someone wants to leave a bad review. Just out of curiosity… what kind of proof did you have to provide? Looking at the whale case, it would be pretty hard for a customer to prove that the incident actually happened that way. You’d have to provide detailed logs of communications with support, etc.—which, in turn, is quite difficult when accounts are suspended.

But I’ve seen the behavior you described quite often: a bad rating, followed shortly after by a slew of positive ratings to smooth over the negative one.

Of course, there’s no secret here, I already wrote about it in my thread that I created specifically for that situation. I provided a screenshot of my conversation with the client who paid for my work. The payment that Trustee Plus froze was for linguistic work I had completed. I had proof of that in the chat, including the transaction amount, the coin and network, as well as confirmation from the client that he had sent the funds. It clearly stated what the payment was for. I uploaded the same screenshots to Trustpilot as well.


However, since he sent it from a wallet address on a casino website, my payment was flagged and blocked, and they demanded explanations, marking the transaction as high-risk. By the way, I checked Trustee Plus’s Terms of Service to find a clear definition of what “high risk” actually means, and it was all very vague, basically saying they reserve the right to decide what falls under that category. It didn’t even explicitly state that all transactions from casinos are considered high-risk.

From what I can see on Flashscore, a -3.5 Asian Handicap on Barcelona was 8.00, so a -4.5 AH was maybe 11 or 12. If such high handicaps were even on offer. Even results such as 4:0 paid out serious money (a four-goal difference). Flashscore shows odds of 25-26 on a few bookies. The highest odds on results were for the final scores 4:2 and 4:3.

P.S. Etranger, gaming is a blanket high-risk industry when it comes to some jurisdictions of financial compliance, unfortunately. You might be surprised to learn that even crypto (in some of its various definitions) itself is considered a blanket high-risk by some FIs. Just a way for lazy compliance to de-risk.

I regularly wipe out my Whale balance because I go all-in on games where I think the outcome is a foregone conclusion... but I’m usually way off the mark That said, I’m usually only betting amounts in the low single-digit dollar range per bet, so I see the whole thing more as a form of entertainment—like going to the movies—which is why I don’t care at all about losing.


What surprises me, though, is your second paragraph... I actually thought crypto was viewed and classified as a high-risk asset worldwide. At least in Europe, I don’t know of any country that sees it differently! Do you have any examples where that isn’t the case?

Cryptocurrencies especially alternate cryptocurrencies aka altcoins are considered as very high risky assets. It's quite understandable if we know that altcoins are very scam and many altcoin projects died already.

This report from Coingecko can give some information to prove that. It's not shock at all if we know how low or zero value altcoin projects are.

Welp. I just came in to self-report that I wiped my Whale balance on a very ill-advised all-in on Liverpool today. Maybe something inside me wants me to take a proper break (haha).

Not only you but many others like me too. Liverpool wiped gamblers bet yesterday. I took it as part of gambling loss so it was not tok painful and I gambled with little amount so it was like a normal thing for me. In Chelsea game, I chose double chance so I won the game. Now the technic I am using in those famous weak team is double chance or I pick one team or draw.

Basic knowledge about injuries and missing players can help you make the right bets, but it in no way guarantees a win. As we remember from the recent Champions League match between Real Madrid and Manchester City, the Cityzens were considered favorites because Real had many key players out injured. However, that didn't stop Madrid from winning both legs and knocking City out of the tournament. So, you should always keep in mind that the element of surprise can completely ruin your bet.

I always use the log in with Metamask, a few months back i ask if i can add a email and log in with that and a password and they said me it was not possible i have to keep using my meta account since it was with what i create the account.

Well yesterday i saw they added the option to add my email and a password to log-in into my account, so i made it and i receive the email with the confirmation.

Today i tried to open my account via the ussual log-in with my email and password set up yesterday and it open...... but it wasnt my account  it was like a new account with 0 balance..... i close it and open again with Metamask and there it was my acount i go to settings and it was the email set up correctly, so i dont know maybe is some bug or problem with the database. Maybe they still need to cross it or i dont know, but i hope it help to fix it.

Whale.io probably has the most horrendous login system among all the crypto gambling sites that I have personally used so far which is primarily why I lost interest in playing here. Am not at all surprised about the issue that you faced which makes their login system worse.

I suggest sticking to what works which is metamask in your case. Don't fix what ain't broken basically.

In your case, it's something about synchronizing the accounts. It tends to take up to 24 hours when it's not instant. If that doesn't work, you'll have to log out everywhere ( brujería)  try cookie wizardry, etc. Ah, also, go to Metamask and resend verification (although I would wait for it to synchronize; after all, the money's there)

The good news is that there's a solution. Maybe everything will be working fine for you now. By the way, these are the cases where support sees everything as fine

I think you just created new account when you added email address, and you cant combine metamask with email.
It is so quick and easy to create new whale accounts that it happened to me before by mistake when I entered wrong email address.

I think you just created new account when you added email address, and you cant combine metamask with email.
It is so quick and easy to create new whale accounts that it happened to me before by mistake when I entered wrong email address.

I believe at the very start they dont have the email option available or maybe i just register with meta to avoid having one more password in the list to remember, the problem comes when sometimes when i click on the log in button for meta the sincro never worked and for that i wanted to change it to the email one.

I dont create a new one that is impossible i was on the log in not at the register pop up and plus i enter my ussername so if the things works like it have to be they ahve to said to me it was already used.... and that doesnt happen so that proves they dont have the BD syncronized.
