Considering that 13 of us had Barcelona, there isnt that any gaps in between us. Well its still better than not getting anything so yeah this time I"ll convert my free bets into cold hard cash. Managed to turn a BC Game voucher into around $200 but I blown it all away  

Hahaha yeah only two people suffers the pain in the ass of not having Barcelona as a selected team for this round. I hope you can make a good bet with the bonus code and win a good ammount of money, we have a super week of Champions League matches on wednesday.

Interesting, Barcelona acted as a wild card, several took it, but the respective combinations raised these two players to 21, congratulations to both and I think if I'm not mistaken arallmuus finally hits his FB, and KTChampions repeats, in short, interesting week for Barcelona in terms of goal average for a fantastic week.

Yes i hope to see more teams following this path, and start to score more goals, that makes the competition more vibrant.

Well guys we have another round in front of us. I know we are full of Champions League matches right now and our heads are there, but i have to post the form. Mainz plays on friday so take care about that.

Wanted to wait until the CL games were finished, but nothing to really think about. This will be one of the most even rounds ever.
I think 90% will have the same 4 teams, and then probably 50% the one I picked as the 5th.

First time in the competition that I didn't pick a PL team, at least I think so.

I haven't looked at the options yet (time flies so fast when there's the Champions League, it feels like you have to make predictions every day haha) but isn't this a good opportunity to play against the majority? I don't know yet which 4 teams you are talking about, but I think I will try to guess one of them as ineffective and replace it with an effective one. This is not a very incredible task, but it can bring a yellow cap.

- Liverpool to score minimum 4 goals against Everton to slam the brakes on Moyes' second coming.
- Mainz to pour in the goals on Friday night.
- Barca to beat their 7-goal haul.

Yep, this is precisely the advantage of underdogs - the leaders are obliged to make certain picks and everyone knows about it 
By the way, I didn't see a big problem in the variability (probably missed something). It is clear that it is impossible to refuse Bayern, Bayer and Barcelona in this round, but then I chose Chelsea + Villarreal. Based on previous (in all competitions such experience) picks, I can say that when I do not choose my lovely Real, it makes wonders

This sums up how to play in this pool properly. The best course of action in this pool is to go with the majority rather than taking a wild swing. So far the only person that was succesful with the outsider pick was @buwaytress with Inter going for 6 goals while none other had Inter.

Im 3rd from the bottom and I personally wouldnt want to bet on an outsider pick as well. Its kinda frustating when you lost especially when you are already near the bottom with no real chance of getting any prize left

Sure, you might get lucky like this in a few rounds across the season. But in general, it is expected that the gap will only keep increasing the longer you pick 'Chelseas' instead of 'Bayerns' in rounds like these.
For example, I think the difference in this round will be made by the 5th team, 4 should (will?) be picked by the majority. I chose a team that is not as big of a favorite as Villarreal but is having a great season and is playing quite offensively.

Sounds crazy, but 1-2 points difference makes all the difference in this competition. You get that 1 goal gap often and mid-season you're 10 points ahead.

It is always about slow and steady in all the pools. Except Champions League pot B and sometimes BSFL. There needs to be bigger reward for taking riskier choice, if there isn't you are loosing in the long run. For CL Pot B is clear with the odds and in BSFL people forget that if you have 4 options, one that seems least likely actually covers plenty outcomes while that that seems likely makes you get exact score.

Anyway, posted my picks as soon as I finish this post.

Hi guys just posting here the stats for this round 18.



I was expecting a more even round like cryptofrka said, but seems like we are gonna have a more uneven a fun round. I know is super even in the normal 4 teams but we have a mixture between the players on top compared with the last round were we had several players with the exact same picks.

Sadly omiki miss this round.

The seasons are going to end soon so the bottom ranker like myself would want to put few random picks like this to gather higher points. It seems that Villarreal is quite the favourite pick this week, I was expecting less than 4 people that picked Villarreal as this is supposed to be my oddball for the week 

Aside from Villarreal, its quite surprising that 5 people picked Chelsea. Yeah West Ham is pretty bad right now but Chelsea is not in a good state either imo

Luckily this time chose Nottingham Forest because they won 7 goals against Brighton, it was unexpected that Forest could humiliate the opponent, before losing heavily to Bournemouth and now returning fiercely with the opponent.

In another match,,, I'm not sure Newcastle will win many goals with Fulham but at least this team is still said to be good enough to choose, usually Isak is not left behind to score goals.
