I was pretty sure that you will finally win something from this pool when West Ham scored the first goal because all they had to do was defend so even if Chelsea score 1 goal then you could have won

I was sure that Real would play against me - when I don't pick them they show a good result, and when I pick them they show an average result. Here was an exception, but as a Real fan I am also dissatisfied.

It's hard to say that everyone still has a chance to win, but it seems to me that the distance ahead is large + the final ~15% of games will be as random as possible (many teams will settle in their place ahead of schedule and lose motivation), so it's worth trying even if things aren't going well right now.

Yes, I agree with you, but in the last rounds it will be strange for those who are lagging behind not to take a risk. Roughly speaking, as we saw with "normal" forecasting, the main group of players fits into a difference of 2-3 goals and it is very strange to hope to get an advantage of several points here. But if you make "strange" picks like Nottingham, then with a certain amount of luck you can move from 6th place straight to 3rd or 2nd (depending on what the position will be at that moment). The last rounds will be interesting!

Current 4th place has 239 points while I have 201 points. So technically speaking, even if I am getting +3 points higher than KTChampions for the 12 remaining rounds, I will still fall shorter than 239 points so I guess thats it for me. Playing to win free bets would be the last thing that I need to do

I already thought that I failed to submit answers this round. Yesterday didn't got tag, so, I thought that first game will be played on Saturday. And when today I didn't saw open form, I thought, oh shit. But now I can get relief

Hahaha it can happen, and worst when you are in the fight for paid positions, its like a nightmare when you realize you didnt submit something in time. Thanfully this is not the case for you. You are safe.

To be fair they are playing against Wolfsburg on an away game though so I doubt that many player will actually pick Bayer though. Probably around 5 If I have to guess. Atalanta would have nail decent amount of players that pick the team, easy 5 goals.

Anyway is there a plan to switch the league into some other league probably Ligue 1 or Saudi League temporary just in case this happens again? I mean Im fine with a break in between matchday but well it just feels weird that we have to stop just because EPL wasnt running.

I think it's better to continue with the set of championships we started with, imagine the disappointment of those who, for example, are leading and then lose their place because of the results in Saudi Arabia 

If I have to pick 5 excluding EPL then it would be Bayern as top choice followed by Barcelona and Atalanta because these three are pretty good teams in their respective league with high GD and will be playing against less favourites teams. Going to exclude Inter here because they just lost against Fiorentina big time.

So thats leave us with 2 more teams to pick, for most people that is on top 8, some would likely go for Bayer for safer choice but for most of us that doesnt really need to bet on safer choice then its a good time to go with the other teams so yeah probably less than half would actually pick Bayer in this scenario though

Hi guys! Yes like KTC said, the trouble is we are gonna end in a full same teams.

Anyways if we have this contest next year is inmy mind the idea to add more league teams/ replacement options, being the first time im doing this and with the change on the calendar its not so easy, its seems pretty easy but when you are in charge starts to be diferent to maintain a line.

If i cheked corectly we are gonna have one more weekend without EPL, but they are gonna play in mid week so we are not gonna have to stop in that one,  but we still have to see if they dont change it.

Atalanta are a dangerous choice, they are in a clear decline despite the latest 5-0 win. Look: in the last 10 games, their average is 1.7 goals per game. In the previous games (14 games), their average was 2.57. Maybe now they will return to the numbers they had at the beginning of the season, but I seriously doubt it. But as you said, if you need to take a risk, then this is probably one of the choices that can be made.

Liverpool is an easy choice and I think everyone will make it. Wolves have 52 goals conceded (only Leicester and Southampton are worse) and Liverpool have the most goals scored + a home game. As for the game with Everton, it’s less obvious, I wouldn’t choose Liverpool, but this game is outside our round anyway.
