It was a very easy victory for Benfica, in the first leg they scored 5 goals and did not concede any goals, today they scored 4 goals and also did not concede any goals. Benfica is strong at home and this opponent was too weak, unfortunately for Benfica it is unlucky that in the final it will be against Sporting, honestly Benfica's chances of winning are slim. Yeah, quite for sure, The game of football is well known for it suprises and factories like the teams strategic approach and preparation for the game hugely contribute to a surprising outcome and plus the fact that top teams will be juggling with one or two different competition which some may consider dropping off some of their key players in preparation as well and such senario could affect their performance in the end.

The fact is that if Porto wins tomorrow, which in my opinion they will, they will be in third place and will be able to go to the Europa League if they can maintain that position until the end of the league. Braga will be in 4th place.

Tirsense football team could not play well in the  last match and Benfica football team gave excellent effort in last match because players of that team did back to back goals in this match. Silva was the person who gave good start to his team and he did goal at 48 minutes of the match and we didn't see any goal in first half of the match.  After this goal, Bajrami was a person who did goal at 74 minutes of the match and we expected that opponent team will resist but they could not resist and we saw one sided match. Belotti was a person who did second last goal of the match and that was at 78 minutes and after this goal score was 3-0 but match is not ended with this result.Barreiro did last goal of the match and he did goal at 91 minutes of the match.

Meanwhile, regarding Sporting CP who will face Boavista, this should be a fairly easy match for Sporting because Boavista is not a team that is considered good enough for this season. While Porto continue to amaze me, they didn't used gift from Braga after they dropped points, Porto lost to weak Estrela. And Estrela surprisingly was better team on pitch, having much more moments to score.

The problem with thinking about achieving results is that there is no guarantee that leaving aside one competition to focus on another would bring better results in the competition that they would be focused on and Benfica has not won the Portuguese Cup for many years.



Although Benfica reached the finals 4 and 5 years ago, if they only focus on the Portuguese Cup it would be a big risk and they could lose everything. That's why they need to focus on both competitions and pray hard that Sporting lose points in the league and lose in the Portuguese Cup final.

It's just so amazing and kinda painful for me that the both top teams won their games but I still lost my bet just because I was being too careful as I played them to win and also added extra combo to the match prediction. Like I played both teams to win but taught I put a limit to the number of goals scored for both teams by prediction them not to exceeds 5 goals in total for the end of 90mins but boy did they surprise me and instead of under it was an over 4.5 goals.

Both title contenders are currently on same level of quality Benfica punish AFS with 6–0 after few hours Sporting CP punish their opponent with score of 0–5 after 31 rounds 75 points each and both conceded same number of goals 25 but Sporting score 3 more goals than Benfica.

Deciding game is going to be play in round 33 when Benfica will be host Sporting CP and things could be at their best for both title contenders no one can easily predict who is going to win because it's balanced game and both are having fair chance of win but mostly are expecting Sporting CP could be favourite win in this season. Boavista squad is below average and is clearly unthinkable against Sporting CP, this match is the first biggest for Stuart William Baxter who has barely stay one month in Boavista, there is no much match for him to coach because by the time he was appointed Boavista has already played 90 percent of the matches they have, so he came very late and FC Porto and  Arouca has gotten whom will give them three points for their last season match. However the club that will win has so much to gain because they will also be taking by the champions League but Sporting CP is locking up very fast but not without Viktor Gyokeres because he is the mover with a high score, his last was four goals.

The name Benfica ring a bell in my ear because I still remember how the club, struggling to excape relegation in the league some years ago and seeing how the club struggle have been for the past few years up until this season, the obvious truth is that Benfica will definitely find it hard to win the league any moment for now and alot of investment, and new signing will have to go into the club for them to at least be out into potential winning stage, the Portuguese league is still rapidly growing in it popularity among sport lovers.

I managed to get the Braga game right, but Porto didn't cooperate and lost. Sometimes these absurdities happen. The only game I expected not to make a mistake was the one I made a mistake in. I didn't expect this result, especially coming from Porto. And the worst part is that they were superior in practically every aspect of the game, but they simply couldn't convert it into a goal. Complicated!

I didn't expect to see both results. For me it was Braga victory even though they were playing away. Well draw isn't that bad after all since Porto lost their game. The defeat was surprising and receiving 2 goals without scoring any made things just worst!
Porto has 3 rounds left, they should try to pick the Europa League spot.. They are far from Champions League and the first place in the league which will be between Sporting and Benfica which are knocking their opponents badly. These two teams will play also the final of the cup.
Next round will be easy for the top four teams in my opinion except of Braga.
