While most of you were sleeping, the draw for the Carabao Cup fourth round has been made. Below is a list of all the ties in the order they were drawn.
All Premier League teams get to face another Premier League team except for Arsenal. Arsenal will be travelling to Highbury to face Fleetwood Town. The easiest match in the fourth round.
Arsenal is lucky. Easy qualification to the fifth round. Is this not cheating?
City vs Brighton
Chelsea vs Liverpool
Those matches are the hottest games to come. Honestly, i think City and Chelsea will win their upcoming games in Carabao cup. City is clearly favorite while Chelsea is underdog, but i don't rate Chelsea as bad as what bookies valued to them.
On other hand, calling Arsenal cheating just because they got easy opponent is out of my mind. Don't you remember when Chelsea was also able to go to the final of FA cup due to easy fixtures.
I think it's just a pure luck by Arsenal's side. There's no cheating here because the fixtures decided by random drawing. When a club in Arsenal's calibre get an opponent that came from nowhere. So just call it as privilege owned by them because their luck is giving them it, yet Arsenal is winning even they play with their B squad.
Each time Liverpool is usually paired with Chelsea at some point, and Liverpool usually eliminates Chelsea, or Chelsea is paired with Tottenham. Certainly one team will eliminate the other, and it would be disappointing if Chelsea goes home seeing that they have less number of competitions to play compared the other major team that got engaged with one the other European competition, Champions League, Europa, and the conference league, Chelsea shouldn't end this season trophiless that would be a big shame on them and Alonso has to be blamed if that happens.
