All Premier League teams get to face another Premier League team except for Arsenal. Arsenal will be travelling to Highbury to face Fleetwood Town. The easiest match in the fourth round.

Chelsea vs Liverpool

Those matches are the hottest games to come. Honestly, i think City and Chelsea will win their upcoming games in Carabao cup. City is clearly favorite while Chelsea is underdog, but i don't rate Chelsea as bad as what bookies valued to them.

On other hand, calling Arsenal cheating just because they got easy opponent is out of my mind. Don't you remember when Chelsea was also able to go to the final of FA cup due to easy fixtures.

I think it's just a pure luck by Arsenal's side. There's no cheating here because the fixtures decided by random drawing. When a club in Arsenal's calibre get an opponent that came from nowhere. So just call it as privilege owned by them because their luck is giving them it, yet Arsenal is winning even they play with their B squad.

Each time Liverpool is usually paired with Chelsea at some point, and Liverpool usually eliminates Chelsea, or Chelsea is paired with Tottenham. Certainly one team will eliminate the other, and it would be disappointing if Chelsea goes home seeing that they have less number of competitions to play compared the other major team that got engaged with one the other European competition, Champions League, Europa, and the conference league, Chelsea shouldn't end this season trophiless that would be a big shame on them and Alonso has to be blamed if that happens.

I think Manchester United has good players, at least good enough players for them to have won against Brighton so it's not really about the players not being good enough or being average but that they aren't being used the right way.
There are club managers that would want someone like Rashford on their team and all the anger aside even you will admit that Rashford is one of the good players in England.
The expectation when Manchester United signed a new manager made it seem like they would beat everyone and now Carrick is carrying all of the blame, rightfully so because he is really ruining the team.

Dude, are you sure you know what you are saying, Manchester united won against Brighton at where? Perhaps you did not watch the game till the end or you didn't bother to check the result after the game ended because if you did you would have known Brighton came back in the second half and win them 2:3 and it was really shameful to see that Manchester united was winning Brighton 2 goals to nothing before 12 minutes of the game and later loss the game. This is pretty clear there's still a big problem in the team.

How could you read with out a proper understanding of what you read or you just want to rush to make a post and leave? It was ones I reed what ZerovinsonN wrote and i got his point, he never said Man united won Brighton he said Man united have good players at least good enough to win Brighton this means that Man united are supposed to win Brighton with the kind of players they have but couldn't.
So i think it's you that didn't understand well what he wrote, next time if you read anything try reading it again and again for good understanding before taking steps.

So Liverpool get drawn against Chelsea and Arsenal get Fleetwood in the next round. It’s obviously not a conspiracy but damn, they seem to get everything their way at the moment.

You have to beat whoever you are paired with to win it but come on, Spurs followed by Chelsea whilst they get Fleetwood.

 

Liverpool are not having a good start, but they always pick up momentum against strong teams. After having won against Tottenham now they are heading for Bournemouth and then hosting Citizens mean they are going to be started their season and surely going to be have good change into their performance as well.
The next 8 games are having enough challenges, but I am positive about their performance and their potential to stay in good balance; they will never walk alone. They will be given good performance and also have a good chance of staying in a good position in all events.
Arsenal and Citizens both are enjoying good early start but its going to be interesting how they will be perform in second half of this season.

Judging base on how both teams play now I would say Chelsea have a strong chance in winning this game. The only thing Liverpool will be holding to In this game is that it would be played at Anfield, if it was at Stamford bridge I would say Chelsea will win. This is definitely going to be an entertaining game, both teams have a very good attack currently.

I believe Chelsea and Alonso would really want to take this game seriously, they are not in the champions league so it really a big chance for them to try to win it. Well, in this game I rather gamble on goals than on either team to win.

Of course, Arsenal is lucky. I agree with 9ja Amaka Arsenal has the easiest draw in the next round of this competition from that draw. They stand a chance to advance to the next round but other Premier League teams would have to eliminate each other for one of them to advance. Draw result is not favourable in a knock out competition because one way or another, you're going home or going to the next round. It's more better to play for a win in a regular time than playing for a draw that comes with unnecessary tension in the penalty shootout. I will put my money on Chelsea to qualify for the next round if the game goes to penalty shootout.

Massive luck from Arsenal seems like they’re going to be lucky this season for having an easy run in the Carabao Cup, to also having an easy run of fixtures in the Carabao Cup gives them advantage to advance in the competition, it also gives them an opportunity to rest some players, because they’re not playing a very good team.

But I’m going to say that Arsenal are going to beat any team in the Carabao Cup, I don’t see a team Challenging them not even Manchester City.

The toughest draw is between Liverpool and Chelsea, one of the big team is going to leave from there, which also gives Arsenal an advantage.

What a fantastic football by Manchester City tonight as they are in 4 goals lead over Norwich.  What Manchester United couldn't do against Brighton, we have Mamchested City doing it effortlessly.  I had wanted both Manchester clubs to meet but the disaster we saw in the Unuted team have paved the way for Manchester City to triumph over Norwich and later Brighton to progress in the tournament. As usually, I was able to bet on this match and already expecting to get some nice wins if other matches in the ticket deliver as predicted.

Both teams have equal opportunities at the moment and looking at their recent performances, no one is exactly doing better than the other, they’re both trying to rebuild their teams and this game can go both ways, a full time draw or a slight win by Liverpool is what I’ll be tilting towards.
Chelsea have not been defensively strong, I don’t know where you got that from with the amount of goals you’ve conceded. I know as a fan you’ll most likely support your team but don’t over exaggerate it.

With the present form of Liverpool I don't think they have a chance to win against Chelsea. Chelsea's attack being one of the best in the premier League I think Liverpool will conceed goals that may cause them to loose that match. Chelsea on the other hand.. I think they will be prepared defencely, as they are aware that they have a defensive issue and the team is actively working on limiting the way they conceed goals, because that is their focus..  they will have a strong defense in that match

Manchester City are taking on Norwich at the moment. Manchester City is winning 4-0. Effortlessly, Manchester City have disposed of Norwich from the Carabao Cup competition. Over to Brighton for the fourth round.

Brighton, after putting on a superb show against Manchester United, will put in an effort to beat Manchester City.

We all expected this match to be so easy for Manchester City to win because they were playing against a weak team. It’s not like Manchester United, who played against Brighton, who you can’t really see as a weak team, but rather an average team.We can’t compare Manchester City’s match against Norway to Manchester United’s match against Brighton because, if it were Brighton that Manchester City played against, I don’t think it would have been that easy for them, the way it was against Norway.But what really pains me about the Manchester United match is how they lost to Brighton. Brighton came back from two goals down to win the match. It was too embarrassing for Manchester United to experience that kind of loss. In fact, I don’t understand Manchester United anymore with their current performances.

Exactly, Brighton is not a team to underrate in this tournament at all. Anyone who watched them against Manchester united yesterday can testify. They were down 2-0 but they still turned the game around to eliminate Manchester united. Some teams might give up when they are down by 2-0 but Brighton was playing with composure after conceding 2 goals until they were able to make equaliser. I know Manchester city is not the same as Manchester United but I won't be surprised if Brighton scores first. City is still the favourite team to qualify for the next round but they can't get passed Brighton easily as some people assumed.

I have been wondering, what has really happened to Manchester United, last season towards the end of the season they performed very well and was able to get a spot for the Champions League.
With the way Manchester United played last season when Carrick came to the club as there new coach, I was thinking that when this season will start they are going to actually be exceptional and contest for the Premier league title. I am still surprised and shocked that Manchester United is performing this poorly this season.

I thought the same too. That Manchester United would do well after seeing what Carrick achieved last season, but it seems it's the "same old" Manchester United, and nothing has really changed. It's the same players that were used last season except for Casemiro, who left, but they cannot replicate the same performance. Lost to a newly promoted side. Got beaten by 10-men, Manchester City, and now got beaten by Brighton at Old Trafford after going two goals up. What next to expect? The results are just awful, and as it stands, I don't have any expectations of Man United.

I agree with Emjay that both teams are equal in strength and that is how it is. Maybe you don't follow the Premier League or you do not know how to compare teams in the EPL. Liverpool doesn't look any stronger than Chelsea, this is because while Liverpool lost their first 2 matches, Chelsea won their first 2 matches then Chelsea lost to Arsenal while Liverpool won their match before both teams played draw in their last matches. I'm just trying to analyse why both teams are equal and if we are to even take a critical look at both of them, Chelsea could be the stronger team as a result of their attacking force. Chelsea has scored 10 goals and conceded 9 goals while Liverpool scored 6 goals and conceded 4 goals so this is to say that Chelsea has a strong attack. It's only their defense that they have a problem which means they can score and concede at same time. So, I also go with the draw that Emjay predicted.

I totally disagree with you. In the EPL, Liverpool is 8th while Chelsea is 5th on the league table. Chelsea has won 2 games, drawn one, and lost one to the Champions of England. While Liverpool have drawn 3 games and won one. Chelsea is an all-round better team than Liverpool this season. If not for Chelsea's poor defensive structure. I would give them a straight win over Liverpool in that match.

Why do I feel this is rage bait? Commonly, Chelsea is obviously better than Liverpool.
