It's actually a surprising thing to see that Arsenal got eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Fleetwood town, from there performance Arsenal deserve to win, they got several scoring chances but couldn't convert them to goal, while Fleetwood town was playing more defensively to see if they can take on Arsenal to the penalty shot out.
Fleetwood town knew that the penalty shot out will be on a luck and they could be lucky and win and this their plan worked out perfectly and they won 5-3 after the penalty.
I believe that Arsenal fans will be disappointed with this result but they have to accept the defeat.
Arsenal were even lucky that Fleetwood didn’t win them in the regular time. Fleetwood Town were attacking Arsenal and they got the first goal of the match. Arsenal were already behind at half time before Arteta introduced some first team players at the start of the second half, that was how Arsenal managed to score their first goal. Fleetwood Town were more dangerous throughout the match. I watched that match and I was surprised with Fleetwood Town incredible performance. Fleetwood Town didn’t play defense in my observation, they balled Arsenal man to man. I didn't watch this game but the final score amaze me, seeing Gunners lost to a team of such was funny. I thought they will be able to equalize and get a comeback win in the second half but not until this morning I saw the interesting of Gunners lost on penalty to a team in the second division. Football can be like this and when it happens to a rivalry team it is exciting and high laughable, sometimes this is the strategy a lower team can use against a top team and as long as they could keep it up with the pressing until the final whistle, they more likely will be the victor. To be honest, I didn’t expect Arsenal to be knocked out in that way. They might have lost on penalties , but what’s embarrassing is that they lost to an opponent from League Two, which is to say the standard of their opponents should be a world away from that of Arsenal, who won the Premier League last season. Arteta didn’t field their strongest squad , but even so, Arsenal still had plenty of big names in their starting line up, so squad rotation cannot be the reason for their elimination. Arsenal failed to capitalise on their advantage, so even though, on the whole, Arsenal seemed to dominate the match , but their tactics didn’t really work and even when Arsenal tried to make substitutions, this did not make much of a difference.

Arsenal focus this season will be on the premier league and also the champions league.

Quite amusing to see Arsenal bundled out of the cup by League 2 Fleetwood last night but when the dust settles, I don’t think their fans will be too hurt.
They are imo favourites to win the PL and they have a good shot at the CL so much more important targets for them than the EFL Cup.
Liverpool vs Chelsea tonight where I expect both teams to rotate heavily, in that scenario it is really difficult to predict a result.

Arsenal thought they are work over and relent in their strategies of making good move is wining the allowing Fleetwood to scored them first half is the disappointed thing that happened to arsenal, other factors of not pushing with hood force because Fleetwood see the league as the only hope for now and never give room as they have study all strategy to hold arsenal to penalty, Liverpool vs Chelsea Wil be the match that will cut attention it's not an easy game to rush it's prediction, they won't give any room of lossing today they may prefer drawing than what happened to them on totteharm game.

I hate it when coaches experiment with matches, if you want to test your younger squad is it in the Carabao cup? every year Artheta keeps on making same mistake, last year he was lucky to win the EPL but if he doesn’t take time he won’t win any major trophy this season. I remember the last time that similar thing happen arsenal almost lost every other trophy because of their carelessness in taking up chances. what is the point of trying do many players and risking a draw when you know you are playing a knockout game? when they are careless with the simplest tournament they should easily win, what is the guarantee that they are capable of winning the premier league and the champions league that they seems to be focused on? The arsenal we have always known are gradually returning to what they have always been known for and that is bottling the league. i don't even see them winning the premier and champions league with this kind of mentality.

The only mistake he made yesterday was featuring Havertz in the game. Playing Havertz was the reason Arsenal lost that game because tell me why a player could not convert at least one or two chances out of over seven chances they had. Believe me, Arsenal won the Premier league because of Havertz lengthy injury last season. It's inhumane to wish for a player to be injured but to be honest, it's a positive development for Arsenal whenever he takes a serious injury. The annoying thing about it is how Arteta is turning a blind eye to it as if nothing is wrong with him and continue to play him when he's available. I don't understand their relationship and they're not even from the same country but whatever is in between them is a threat to Arsenal's success.

So Fleetwood are deserved winners.

Arsenal's elimination might not be all that bad for the club, even though it's a huge victory for Fleetwood. Arsenal will play 3-4 fewer matches in the season. Every cup is valuable, but when the focus is on winning PL and CL, being eliminated from the Carabao Cup isn't that important. Arteta relied on Havertz and Gyökeres while making major rotation, Gyökeres even scored a goal but it wasn't enough. Arteta says he's deeply disappointed but I don't think this is a match worth dwelling on. Winning Sunday's match against Liverpool is far more important. If they win that match, no one will even remember Carabao Cup.

It's just so poor from them. Common Fleetwood, they couldn't win comfortably. If we look at the matches for this round, only Arsenal had the most easy match. The likes of city, city and other top teams have serious matches with some other bigger clubs, but Arsenal had the simplest, but they failed to win. It is just so embarrassing for them. As champions, they shouldn't be loosing to little teams like that. They should be showing there champions mentality in every game they play because it gives extra momentum. Well, they are out already, and that's it. With this performance, then playing Liverpool this weekend wouldn't be easy for them.

Honestly, I didn't know that Arsenal would draw with a League two team, after all their performance in the premier League and Champions League. They just decided to cut people's bets yesterday, because even without being told, I know that many gamblers were carried away by Arsenal's performance; nobody knew that they wouldn't make it through in the game. Fleetwood have really done something that no one expected from them, because I wasn't even expecting a single goal from them, but they were able to take the lead in the first half and eliminate Arsenal.

Arsenal focus this season will be on the premier league and also the champions league. Of course, in competitions like this a lot of coaches rotate their squad, but what disappointed me about Arsenal is that they lost to an English League Two club Fleetwood Town who are even currently ranked 18th. At least if they were going to be knocked out, it should have been by an EPL team, not a League Two team. Besides that, in this match Arteta also played players like Havertz and Gyokeres and they even played the full match. Arsenal had a total of 26 shots in this game, but they ended up losing on penalties. This Arsenal loss also raises a big question about the squad depth this season because the second-string players just can’t be relied on. Indeed, Arsenal dominated the ball and created many chances even a lot of shots but they couldn't take advantage of them. As a big team and even a favorite in the EPL and UCL, of course the weakness against Fleetwood Town is quite disappointing. I congratulate Fleetwood.

In as much as I would like to agree with you, I will also like you to know that there is no guarantee that they will win the premier league or the champions league. There is this saying that " you should not throw away water in your drum because the weather looks like it will rain" they should not neglect or forfeit any cup because of premier league and champions league because like I said they may not even win any of them whereas, they would win other cup if they hadn't neglected them.

Arsenal's loss to Fleetwood was a shocking result because Arsenal's second team is enough to handle Fleetwood but they disappointed their fans by playing 1:1 all the way from 50th minute when Viktor Gyokeres equalized the score till full time. But i don't understand why the referee gave Max Dowman a red card for pushing that Fleetwood player, isn't tharmt supposed to be a yellow? Anyway the red card isn't an excuse why Arsenal lost. The Premier League title chase is still in a tight situation between Arsenal and Manchester City so they ought to treat every of the competitions with importance. They don't need to see any trophy as less. Liverpool Vs Chelsea will be a very strong match to watch both teams because since they are both from the Premier League, it's going to be though for both of them.

I watched the Fleetwood town vs Arsenal match from start to finish and first, I want to congratulate Fleetwood on how they've managed to eliminate Arsenal after a penalty shootout that ended in a 5 - 3 scores in favor of Fleetwood..
The game initially ended in a 1 - 1 draw, needless say that Arsenal played a very disappointing game tonight, they had several opportunities but failed to convert any of those to goals, their performance in the first half was nothing to write home about. Fleetwood on the other hand had a very strong defence and a good goal keeper, this I believe is what contributed majorly to their success tonight.. As an Arsenal fan, I am very disappointed with their performance but on the other hand, I am happy for Fleetwood Town, wishing them more wins going forward.
I think we can finally forget about Grimsby vs Manchester United after Arsenal got eliminated from the Carabao Cup. Fleetwood goalkeeper made a great saves to prevent Arsenal from getting goals. Even though Arsenal used their third tier players, I didn’t expect the Premier League Champions to get eliminated by Fleetwood. Gyokeres had the opportunity to start in this game, Havertz was also in the starting line, but how come they didn’t get a goal in the first half? Arsenal had 26 shots, 7 shots on target, but couldn’t convert them into goals to eliminate this team. Bruno Guimaraes failed to learn from the penalty he missed at the World Cup. I won’t say he was the reason why Arsenal were eliminated, but the whole team failed to make use of their opportunities throughout the match. I don’t even remember the last time Arsenal won the Carabao Cup.

Where they underrating Fleetwood that Arsenal didn't use their first team players? Maybe they didn't take carabao cup serious, any way i watched that game Fleetwood defense actually did a great work, Arsenal dominated the game but couldn't make good use of their goal scoring opportunity, that game wasn't supposed to go to that extra time arsenal was supposed win before ft but luck ran out of them, Fleetwood was lucky was lucky to score five of their penalties while arsenal scored three. I do agree with you, there's no way I would start my main Xi against Fleetwood if i am manager myself, it doesn’t even make sense. The players Arteta used are still solid, I don't just understand how they lost their guard yesterday or maybe luck wasn't on their side. The season hasn't even gone far and Arsenal the supposed favorites are out of one domestic title. Some fans might say it's just the EFL trophy and it's not really important, what they don't know is that these kind of trophy gives you an extra boost and confidence to compete for other titles. We saw how worked for ManchesterCity who were playing bad last season. This should have been a 4-0 or 5-0 win to Arsenal, they really messed up.

Why so many people are so rant after Arsenal got knocked out by the 4th tier club? Why can't a small club win against big club, though the chance is small? Manchester United knocked out by Grimsby yet so many people were laughing at them. Why can we express the same impression like what United has done in the past? Just because they were winning EPL last season, they were invicible. That's not how football is working. Fleetwood didn't do wrong, and their static is also pretty good as 4th tier team compared to the Arsenal. They deserve this win as their pride, and they also do it through penalty, which was showing how strong they were. Other than Arsena's lost to Fleetwood, Chelsea is gonna meet Liverpool soon. I put Liverpool is in favor than Chelsea because the lose against Spurs is obviously makes me overthinking to pick them. They might be one of most produced club, but their defense is just so horrendous to watch. Dibu is not yet confirmed to play. So it's quite risky to bet on them because Liverpool was also beating Brighton which is one of most performed club now. Liverpool is leading with 2.55 while Chelsea 3.20. It's easy to know in which team we should bet, and it is Liverpool because the game is also happening at Anfield. Someone else here is also betting on Liverpool?

It's rare to see a team that's invisible even if they go a full season unbeaten they would still draw some games, what happened yesterday against Fleetwood is not suprising to me cause it's football and anything is possible, although I was pained or disappointed rather cause my expectations on Arsenal was too high. Liverpool is in a better form than Chelsea and if we're to judge by that then it okay for anybody to consider them favourites. If they could be Brighton that's been impressive this season then Chelsea wouldn't be a big deal for them, even though i like Chelsea am not confident in them i can only hope the game favours them.

Yeah, Arsenal's failure in their yesterday's match can't be blamed on any player in particular, as far as I know, the whole team collectively failed. I was having a minor arguments with some friends concerning the outcome of the match, some were saying maybe if Dowman wasn't handed a red card, the match would have had a different outcome, I strongly opposed this argument because Dowman was handed a red card in the 85th minutes of the game, I do not think his absence had any negative effective on the remaining 10 since they played only for 12 more minutes (including extra time). My simple conclusion is that Arsenal under-estimated Fleetwood and for this reason, they didn't prepare adequately for the match.

I don’t believe the big clubs take the League Cup very seriously. In yesterday’s match between Fleetwood and Arsenal, Arsenal was eliminated from the tournament following a penalty shootout. It came as a surprise that Arsenal was knocked out by a team from the second tier. Had the Arsenal players been more motivated, they might have been the ones to advance to the next round.
I am curious about the outcome of today’s match between Manchester City and Brighton. While it wouldn’t be a massive shock if Brighton were to eliminate City in this round, Manchester City—playing on their home turf—remains the favorite to win.
