Becoming successful in life or in your business requires some mentorship, this could be through reading of books of a particular author or even having a physical mentor who can be guiding you .
Without mentorship, becoming successful is difficult, some of this mentors have passed through period of turbulence in the career and have had a lot of experience that is making them stand tall today. They have made some mistakes and have been able to learn from those mistakes, therefore when they give advice, they give advice based on experience and it works perfectly.

This is what others don't realize when they read a book. The good books that have guidelines on how to invest and become a successful entrepreneur, the author of it is the mentor. And the same goes with content creation nowadays, we're looking at the videos of these tips and advices from these people. Despite that we're not following their lives but only through the contents they make, we can consider them already as our mentor and we as their mentee.

They're recounting their life stories, and you're reading about them without having lived them yourself. That's why reading is so important. Scientifically, the brain processes the experiences we read about almost as if they were real. Our ability to empathize increases, and we gain different perspectives. While books aren't mentors in the truest sense of the word, they are mentors in a way.

You are right, I also think that behind every person's success, there is a mentor who acts as a helper in the journey of life. Their experiences from reality make it easier for us to navigate our paths and our business. A mentor's guidance makes an ordinary person extraordinary. And without mentors, a person does a lot of sadhana like a boat without a boat, but the direction is not right, so I think mentor is essential to succeed in life.

One can make it as their mentor but others can only recognize it as some help that made them a better person. But regardless of one's belief, that can't be deny that if it helped you to be a better person and made you successful, you can claim it as a mentor when you give credits to it.

Surely, having a mentor is very important more especially when we are getting started so that we don't learn in the hard way. I know most people can scale through in whatever thing they are doing without having a mentor, and that is a personal decision. Me personally would like to have a mentor who would guide me in a particular field so that to avoid making unnecessary mistake, because there are some certain mistake you would avoid when you have a mentor while those that doesn't have a mentor might not avoid it. i know most people wouldn't mind but me personally would like to avoid Such mistake from happening by getting a mentor.

Personally, I would prefer to have a mentor who can guide me in a particular field. This helps avoid unnecessary mistakes, because there are certain errors you can prevent when you have someone experienced guiding you, whereas those without a mentor might repeat them. Some people may not mind learning through trial and error, but for me, I would rather minimize such mistakes by learning from a mentor’s experience.

Lack of proper guidance is often the cause of many failures, because due to lack of guidance, people work hard in the wrong place, as a result of which their efforts often only face failure. Work has to be done in the right place, and for this, the right research and mindset are required, and most importantly, a good guide, as a result of which our efforts are much more likely to be successful, because working in the wrong place only leads to failure.

A mentor helps, but it’s not mandatory plenty of people grow by learning from books, communities, and mistakes.
Mentorship is not limited to being directed directly by someone but through books it can also be said that you have a mentor, namely the author of the book you read, that falls into the category in my opinion, every knowledge from other sources other than those found by yourself can be said that they are teachers if it is a science for the development that you do even though they do not supervise you, for me it is the same as a mentor, from the books I read the author is one of my indirect mentors. Your point is very solid about mentorship. Most people think mentorship is a face to face guidance but actually it has many ways like books that serve the same purpose. When we start learning a book gradually we understand the thoughts of the author and we also start learning from the author's experience and wisdom so in this case indirectly the author becomes our mentor. In actual any kind of knowledge from any resources that contribute to your improvement can be considered as a mentor. When we start learning from others we actually save our time and it helps to avoid repeating mistakes that our mentor has done. So the learning point is that we should always improve our personality and for that purpose every kind of thing which helps us to shape ourselves is our mentor and it may in the form of knowledge, books or personality. Finally there were people who understood what I said, I thought that before no one understood so I thought that maybe it was my logic that didn't need to be conveyed because people didn't understand that way of solving explanations. The world has many points of view because digesting understanding from the same source will give birth to different thoughts, that's how the brain works, as long as we are able to understand every word, sentence and paragraph, it will increase our intelligence in understanding what is conveyed by the author, because each author has a different character, nature and emotions, maybe we can understand it through their writing if we have been able to enter the author's mind and it can become our mode to accelerate understanding the points of what he instructs, warns and also advises that should and should not be done if we want to achieve his position. Understanding this is more difficult than getting direct education from teachers/mentors who direct us to achieve the success we want, but the world has many ways to achieve success by understanding what is implied in every event we experience even if we have to repeat mistakes.

I don't think a mentor is essential, but in some cases it can help speed up the process. Or perhaps you don't need a formal mentor, but rather someone you can observe, bounce ideas off, or get feedback from. It should be noted that a mentor is not someone superior; they are people who have also made mistakes and, through their experiences, can help you avoid those mistakes, which translates into savings in time, money, and mental

The way you think before you make a decision will not be the same as your ideas in most cases. This is the result of the difference in decision-making at the individual level and the implementation. Those who think realistically and try to implement it can mostly succeed in their projects. If you discuss the way you will establish and manage a project with more than one experienced person, you will be able to reach an acceptable decision for the implementation of that project. It would not be right to think that a consultant will always give good advice. Discuss the matter with more than one experienced person and apply what is convenient for you. Work with the mental preparation that no one is perfect.

I think the best mentor is just trial and error but man that is an expensive way to learn, if i can save some time by just listening to someone who knows the ropes i am all for it
Many people say that to be successful you need a mentor but the problem is not everyone has one. I mean there are many people who can succeed without a mentor because they use themselves as a mentor just like you said trying when they fail and trying again. Moreover nowadays many influencers who are experts in our fields offer tricks or tips for success. We can use them as role models to achieve success without a mentor. Ultimately success must start from within ourselves because even with a mentor without the intention of achieving success we won't achieve it.

You do not need to have a mentor before you can become successful in life. There are many successful people in life that does jot have a mentor.
Some people only like after a role model and they may want to be like such people and work towards it.
But know that success is not about having a mentor or looking after someone as a role model. It is about how smart you are in achieving successes. Opportunity and exposure are also very important.
success can come from observation, self learning strategic thinking and seizing opportunities, what I'm trying to say is that you can be a self employed and become the Boss of your own it's determination, discipline and dedication. My pastor said to me on Sunday service, someone can be a mentor by working hard towards it, it's a determination it's how smart and creative you're. You can be a dancer just work on your self, Elon musk often learned through reading experimentation and trial and error rather than being formally guided by mentor, his knowledge spans engineering physical and business because he actively self learned.

The mentor narrative is often overstated, mostly because alot of the success stories are being told in hindsight and cleaned up for clarity. Alot of people did not 'find a mentor' as a deliberate step but they found reference points, people whose thinking, standards, or feedback influenced them at different stages. Most of our growth will come from observing how others operate, asking specific questions, and applying what makes sense, not from a formal mentor-mentee label kind of situation.
It’s funny how people tend to exaggerate the idea that when someone finds a mentor that they’ll easily become successful. But in reality, success comes and grows via a collection of influences and not just one clearly defined mentor. It’s more about learning from a variety of people and their perspectives and not just a particular individual. Not that it’s wrong to have a mentor or someone you look up to, it’s good but one should never limit themselves or their learning to just that one individual.

It is natural, if someone does not want to succeed on their own, then no matter how much you give advice or guidance to that person, if they do not have their own efforts, they will never be able to succeed. People's laziness and wrong mentality are a big reason for their failure, because of laziness they do not want to work hard, and because of wrong mentality they never think that if they do not have their own efforts then they will never be able to succeed. So it is right that having a mentor is definitely good, but if you limit yourself to the thoughts of one person, the scope of learning becomes small, so in addition to accepting different opinions, you have to continue your own research and give 100% effort, then it is very possible to succeed.

Confidence in yourself can take you far. But if you think that it is not possible for you, then you will give up hope in a few days. But if you had confidence in yourself, then of course it would have been possible for you. Every person in the world is born with equal knowledge but dies with different knowledge. The reason is that the more confidence a person has and works hard towards his goal, the more success and expansion of his knowledge will occur. A weak mind can never make anyone successful, no matter how many professional mentors he follows.

I would like to discuss this here to understand how many people decide to take this step to find a mentor?
I asked myself this question because in almost every book or interview with successful people I come across a mention of them having, or even currently having a mentor who guides them, helps them develop, and perhaps points out mistakes that will not allow them to grow.
And I was interested in how many of you at some point decided that you needed a mentor, how difficult it was to find one and how did he help you? I suppose that few people use this, maybe even out of fear, because for example I don’t even know who it could be and how can I ask my future mentor about this if I manage to find such a person.
And maybe some of you have been a mentor for other people? Share your experience too, if it is not too much trouble for you.
While i agree with you in having a mentor in achieving success or going far in life i am more of the idea to just look and observe from afar and be inspired on your own to achieve as much as you want to achieve the success on your own. It is good to get directions on how to go about it, but doing it yourself will help you go faster and achieve more results. This is true because you are your sole driver of your vision and you motivate yourself with where you are coming from and where you want to be.

To be success I think depend on our self experienced and I don't think every one if want to be success need a mentor, nowadays many easily way how to get most helpful information by asking at ChatGpt, AI or many support site if want to build business and become the investor. I am not blame with mentor contribution for some one become successful but nowadays if you lack experienced I don't think will be success although yo have good mentor. I agree with you to be success beside have good knowledge we must working hard, every one born with difference level and privilege but we can change all it by working hard never give up how many time get failure. So mentor would be the way support us to be success but working hard, has brilliant ideas is most important want for some want to be success.

I also think so. A mentor isn't absolutely necessary for success, but motivation is even more so. So, I think motivation is above and beyond mentoring. I also think some people are successful without mentors, but they seem to have them, like they want to be better. I agree with what you said.
I also think so. A mentor isn't absolutely necessary for success, but motivation is even more so. So, I think motivation is above and beyond mentoring. I also think some people are successful without mentors, but they seem to have them, like they want to be better. I agree with what you said. Mentors are also successful people and have made mistakes before, so they provide guidance to those inexperienced, and sometimes it's not free. That said, mentors can definitely shorten the learning curve. They’ve already made mistakes and can help others avoid them, so their guidance has value — and it’s understandable that it’s not always free. In the end, whether with or without a mentor, it’s the mindset and consistency that really make the difference.
