I don’t actually believe that every successful person had a mentor, some persons had things or people that motivated them to be where they are today or become successful, so I won’t say does people were their mentor because those people were not personally involved in their life to coach or guide them. Most people are even self motivated, they motivate themselves every day never to give up, encourage themselves to keep pushing, never to fail and they finally made it without the help of any mentorship.
I believe that, there are successful people who doesn't have a mentor. But their mentor are their failures and experiences. It will be a bonus if there's someone who's going to mentor them which is just going to be a part of their growth while they've learned from those experiences they have been through. There could be a motivation that pushed them to work harder and reached the point that they don't want to stay in their current tough situation. That's why I agree with what you believe. Although those who got mentors and became successful did also went through hardships as well but with guidance, they're able to make it.
If there is a mentor, the path of a person becomes easy, but that person has to walk on that path. That is, the mentor can give you some guidance but to succeed in the task you have to move forward. I am saying that in most cases, advice is not available, so there is no need to wait for a mentor. Your own judgment and if you fail in a task, then that failure can play a helpful role in success. Even without a mentor, many people have established themselves in life and will continue to do so. Those who have confidence in themselves will definitely achieve success at some point. I like a mentor but if I don't get one, I will continue at my own pace.

I listened to a podcast that said success is give not earn I it connects to the mentoring and not having mentor discussion, you can absolutely make it out without a mentor but it becomes faster and easier or even reaching a greater height with a mentor than when you don’t have one, mentors guide you but you can also guide yourself through the experience of others who you see failed and succeeded. That alone is a mentoring process.

Well I do feel that, the right mentor for you will be attracted to you some how,
You know one thing is to find a mentor another is to find the right mentor, so I personally wouldn't be aggressive to find a mentor for myself, the best thing to do is work better on your self that that on search for a mentor,

Not everyone who's successful had a mentor, i understand that most successful people today had but few people don't have. There was a young girl who lost her father back then due to the hardships their family members where facing she had no options than to quite school because no one is there to assist her with her younger ones. This very young girl started going farming job till she raised a little capital and started selling biscuits bread, butter etc God so kind her little business was growing later on she added some little food items to the business, to make it short right now this very young lady has 2 shops now foodstuff and provision shop and she can still boost of 5millions naira now. Now she's the one taking good care of their family this is not a story I'm a witness to what i said now, and i still believe there're more people who made it in life without a mentor.
She has to forged her own through hard time and dedication. She didn't wait for a mentor to guide rather the survival of her younger siblings motivated to build a life for herself and for Life siblings .hadn't been she was depending on someone to guide, she wouldn't have achieved this success. Sometimes we don't need a mentor to guide us to become great in life, we can still do it on our own because not everyone has the chance to have a mentor to guide them through. Now that she has succeeded all alone, she has become a mentor to her younger siblings.

I feel the same way I used to think that not all successful people have mentors, but this perspective makes more sense it’s likely that everyone who succeeds has their own motivation even those who are just starting out.

I’m sure there are successful people who don’t have mentors, but they possess a strong determination to achieve success including their own motivation and that’s what fuels them on their path to success.

Yeah thats right. To be successful, we don’t always need a mentor. As long as we’re open-minded enough to embrace new things and willing to learn from them, such as gaining the necessary experience and insights on our own to achieve success. Having a mentor will actually only shorten and simplify the path to success for us, because we’ll gain the experience the mentor has already acquired. However, having a mentor is no guarantee of success for anyone., because ultimately, it all comes down to ourselves. Whether having a mentor is important or not really depends on ourselves. If we’re used to being independent and are resilient individuals, we won’t need a mentor in the end. after all, there are many stories of people who’ve succeeded without having a mentor.
I agree, having it or not having it then it will still depend on how we react and how we push ourselves to become successful. Because there are those who have everything they had to succeed including a mentor and yet, they didn't make it. While those who doesn't have everything and yet able to succeed even without someone guided them.

No, I think everyone has a mentor to some extent, even if they only accompany them in the beginning. The simple logic is that a child who is able to run today is one who needed help from others when learning to walk, I think the same thing applies to building a business. You may not agree with me, but I really have to admit that I also had a mentor until I was able to stand on my own two feet like now. There's nothing to argue about, this is just what I feel and what I experience.
That is a good logic and I've heard some people who became successful said that even they have no personal mentor. Someone they follow through books and contents is who they considered is a mentor. I won't disagree with you because what you've said is also true and no one can discredit your experience for that.

Yes, it is what we're saying that both can become successful and each of us have had a different path on how we're hitting our success. It's still will depend on how we'll work on it with or without a mentor.

Yes I believe you’re also making a point here. Mentorship actually makes it easier though, help guide you to know the right part to take or wrong part not to take because they’ve been there before, they just stand as a guide. And maybe what was suppose to take you longer time to achieve, with a mentor by your side to direct you, will actually make it easier.

Do you think if she had a mentor the person would have talked her out of the thinking of quitting school?, there is nothing any mentor would have done for her except the mentor take responsibility for her Schooling because if she hadn't withdrawn from the school they would have still stop her from coming by the school because they are not ready to teach you for free, so actually even if mentors play some good role in our life's for serving as a guide and someone who often determines if our decision could have a good ending but that doesn't mean without a mentor we would become blind on everything.

I really agree with the fact that mentorship can help speed up the process,  but I think there is another aspect that people always ignore, mentorship does not only save time, it actually helps to change someone's thinking. A mentor will not only tell you whether you are heading in the right or wrong direction, they actually challenge the way you think,  and they will also make you to defend your decisions and teach you to make better a decisions in the future.

But seriously you don't really want to rely too much on a mentor though. I think if someone is too dependent on a mentor, it can cause issues later on when you have to make decisions on your own, so while a mentor will help accelerate the process,  you have to be willing to take action.

I think mentorship is not so much about speed, but about refinement,  it may refine thinking, but you have to do the work and make the decisions.

I think mentorship is not so much about speed, but about refinement,  it may refine thinking, but you have to do the work and make the decisions.

I have a little bit different vision mentorship. As mentor I see a person who will try to speed things up, but he will receive a payment for that. In other words, mentor if financially interested in helping and improving you. Nevertheless to be a successful person, not always you need a mentor, but instead I prefer to have a person or people who will inspire you, people who you look at and they motivate you to do something, to improve. I think that is better. Because when person learns success from mentor, he mostly does what this person tell him to do. For example do that and you will get this, if you do like that you will achieve this one. When mentor leaves, there are moments when success leaves with him. Inspiration and motivation works different. It makes and forces you to figure out everything yourself and to push yourself to achieve success. To be short, mentorship is like copy/paste, inspiration and motivation is achieving success yourself.

Your point is very understandable, because life sometimes can show you white and black, and having a good mentor in person often comes with more advantages, because every good mentor in person life can make learning more easier and faster, because it would help the person to avoid common mistake and also give clarity to you whenever you are confused, to have a good mentor, there encouragement alone can help a person to going when things get tough.

But a mentor only guide, because they can not walk the journey for you, person effort and consistency are what truly matters and determine your success, because waiting endlessly for for the perfect mentor, may slow someone down, and I also agree and believe that self-belief and learning from failure are powerful tools.

So I just see it this way, that if you find a good mentor is an opportunity for you to learn ad much you can, but if not find, don't stop keeping moving, because your experience from failure can still take you far.

I disagree with this title, how did I get to know about crypto and trading? I read about crypto online and I found out that my cousin's are into Bitcoin, Never called me for once to tell me, one thing lead to another and I get to know.

They had a way of getting free Bitcoin then, I ask of them about the way they failed to tell me, you heard right, my very own cousins, so I did some digging myself and I found my own way.

Few months later things doesn't go as planned for them, the way they are hiding got blocked and I was busy learning how to trade on an exchange, I got lucky few things and hit few thousands, here I am today, standing on my own, I found every possible way myself.

Unless you want to say that asking Google means the search engine is my mentor then I have no problem with that.

Well I do feel that, the right mentor for you will be attracted to you some how,
You know one thing is to find a mentor another is to find the right mentor, so I personally wouldn't be aggressive to find a mentor for myself, the best thing to do is work better on your self that that on search for a mentor,
I think if you have focus, finding a mentor will it be very easy because if you choose a career to follow I am 100% sure that you don't just wake up one day to decide that, it is something that you will be planning for a very long time and that is why i'm very sure getting mentor will be so easy because I believe you will not always sit down but start inquiring the moment you have interest on that aspect. I found it difficult to locate anyone who is successful today without a mentor an honestly if you have a metal to be precise a very good one you will see a lot of positivity in your career.

And it has to be a real mentor who also went through a lot of experiences. People think that mentoring or coaching is easy and they're just pure words to say and to suggest to the mentees. But the pure and real ones are those who have been a lot of difficult times and they're telling how they're able to deal with it and overcome those situations. This is the ideal mentor from those who wants to listen to someone with wisdom and experience. They make the lives of their mentees easier but they can't convert it into the results of their students because their lives are still dependent on their actions and decisions.

Yes, I was not in a hurry to find a mentor, especially I consider my parents as the closest and most trusted mentor. My parents have given me the most advice to avoid the bad aspects of my life. They have always watched over me and they have always warned me when I was attracted to any bad thing. That is why I consider my parents as the most important mentors in this world. And you should never be in a hurry to take your parents as a mentor.

The problem these days is that not all mentors are free; some require payment because they've taken the time to teach and guide us as people who still need guidance and proper guidance. So, finding a truly free mentor is increasingly difficult these days because mentors also need to eat and value their own time, having their own work to complete. So, be grateful for those who still have mentors who don't need to be paid, because they are invaluable to you, and from them, you might one day yield better and more optimal results.

Not everyone need a mentor to succeed in life , so I don’t see a point to pressure yourself in getting a mentor to put you through, many see some successful people and decide for them to be there role model , having a mentor something help but is not necessary if one don’t have any no point of feelings like you can become something because there is no mentorship in your life , everyone is busy with there life even the mentor you want , so it’s not even easy having one that can put you through always, so instead of hoping so much , you try to put yourself through without waiting for who to mentor you.

I have not seen any mentors who taught others without their own benefit. I started a job with no experience and had to struggle a lot to learn the job. The manager would explain very little to me about the level of skill required to complete a job perfectly and I had to do most of the work on my own. In every workplace, you will face situations where no one will accept you easily in a new situation. You will have to be patient and go through many adverse situations to learn the job. Since you have been patient and struggled to acquire the skill, you will surely want others to learn the same way you did. Although acquiring the skill from adverse situations is difficult, it gives you a lasting experience and that experience brings success.

Every successful individual must have a goal and work toward it, then hardworking also improve the level of success. Is not necessarily must to have a mentor before one can succeed in life, there are also various ways people make their success in life.

My view to success is goal, hardworking and learning from individual and everything around you, you can read more and make research as well. We have other ways we can learn and achieve our success, some are:

*Incidental learning: this are learning unplanned or not intentionally plan, but learning took place in such situations.

*Direct learning: learning that is purposely planned e. g like having a lesson teacher.

*Role modeling: this is a situation you learn from someone you which to imitate or copy  and like certain things and adopt certain features from such person.

All I’m trying to say , sometimes we are our own mentor, people thinks without a mentor there would be any significant in our lives , the way people viewed mentorship make it look like without having a mentor in our lives it won’t go smoothly, situations enhances our understanding and pushes us sometimes to make a better decision even with or without a mentorship .
