ReserveOne is expected to debut on the Nasdaq through a business combination agreement with M3-Brigade, both companies said.
The company will accumulate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, while leveraging staking and lending and making venture capital investments.
The company’s board of directors includes names from Coinbase and Binance, as well as former U.S. Treasury Secretary Wilbur Ross.
ReserveOne, a newly formed digital assets management firm, will debut on the Nasdaq through a $1 billion business combination with M3-Brigade Acquisition V, a blank-cheque company, both firms said in a press release on Tuesday.
Mirroring U.S. President Donald Trump’s Bitcoin reserve and digital asset stockpile, ReserveOne plans to accumulate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, among other cryptocurrencies that could be leveraged in staking and lending, the companies said.
Under the business combination, ReserveOne expects $298 million in trust capital, alongside $750 million in capital committed by strategic investors, with the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, ReserveOne and M3-Brigade said.

Recently, if we look at MetaPlant, which was a former hotel business, we can see that when they publicly announced Bitcoin as a digital asset treasury, the company's share price increased by 345 percent.
Again, when Sequans Communications (a chip manufacturer) withdrew $ 384 million from the market and started Bitcoin banking, their share price also increased quite well.
Maybe they can't reach such high heights in the market like MSTR because MicroStrategy has been collecting Bitcoin for a long time, which has greatly expanded people's confidence in them.
If new companies can have a strong attitude towards Bitcoin as a digital currency and can show good profits from it, then they too may be as effective as MSTR at some point.

This is not the case. This I am going to say from memory but it is a distinction I am sure I have heard Mark Moss make, who by the way has recently announced that he has become Chief Bitcoin Strategist at Satsuma UK, another company that embraces the bitcoin treasury strategy.

So, there are three types of companies that hold bitcoin in their reserves.

The first type are Tesla-type companies, which at some point have bought bitcoin but the bitcoin in their reserves is irrelevant compared to their core business.

The second type are companies like SMLR, which regularly buy bitcoin, and despite having bitcoin a higher weight in their total operations, the core business is still relevant (a minimum of 50% I seem to remember).

The third type are either bitcoin native companies, like XXI capital (I want to remember that it is not legally formed yet), or companies that had a core business before and have passed such a significant bitcoin treasury operation that the previously core business has become irrelevant. Here is Strategy, Metaplanet or ALTBG among others. These companies are the ones that will benefit the most from the strategy by pure logic.

Microstrategy doesn't seems to be stopping anytime soon and will continue to buy Bitcoin in large quantities for many more years which is good for a corporation with a long term vision plans of generating profits from Bitcoin in the long run

No matter which government is intending on various strategies to build up and hold bitcoin, we can still wonder how they are going to accomplish such a supposedly sound money system, when there is a tendency for governments to become irresponsible with their spending and their use of the money printer to bail themselves out.  Surely smaller governments, like states and local governments, do not have abilities to print money, so they may well be more forced to live within their means, even if they might also be using various kinds of debt instruments that are of questionable soundness.
