In a way but not entirely. The EU are against privacy and not bitcoin entirely
They want to regulate the market and know everything about their customer
A bitcoin treasury company being registered and operating there has to succumb to their rules and anybody buying their stock don't really care about privacy
So nothing dangerous at the moment to the company.

What such a government wants is to create a population of dependents of the state, as already happened in Argentina. They are not going to make it easy for people to become rich, or to have financial tools apart from the state, because they know that then people will not vote for those political options. That the option of a strategic reserve is not on the table is a logical consequence of their ideology.

That's really the saddest part there especially that they have leaders who's not open for some changes. Instead of adopting those things that can benefit them they choose to create something that will push their own interest or agenda's.

The UK has lost the opportunity it had with Brexit. It could have positioned itself as a leader in the financial world, but it is making a big mistake. Their new policies will also stifle entrepreneurs. The rich create new jobs opportunities, But the UK government is against it. By increasing taxes on the rich, it is discouraging investment. At this point, the UK government should be pursuing a pro-growth and pro-innovation policy. Entrepreneurs should not be discouraged by increasing taxes on the rich. A reform is definitely needed that will encourage all entrepreneurs.
