Though they use other excuses but critically studying the letter, their refusal to approve a bitcoin strategic reserve is not unconnected to bitcoin as a decentralised asset unlike other centralized assets which the UK foreign exchange policies supports. If it were anything they could have control on, the excuse could have not been there.

Similarly like Arizona , the UK are clearly missing out on the bitcoin opportunity too. Interesting.

The US. government’s new strategic reserve: Billions in seized crypto

US President Donald Trump passed a bill last March that focused on Bitcoin, foreign currency and gold reserves, allowing Bitcoin to be held as a strategic reserve. But he did not specify how much digital currency there is. However, Donald Trump recently mentioned the amount of crypto in the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve and commented that his crypto assets will exceed $21 billion. However, he said that the amount of crypto seized by the US government will be added to the Bitcoin strategic reserve, and if that happens, the Bitcoin strategic reserve will soon increase.

In addition to Bitcoin, there are other cryptocurrencies reserved under the US government and it has published information on the amount of 12 cryptocurrencies in reserve.

Senator Cynthia LUMMIS has assured concern citizens of the US that the federal government has agreed to buy 1 million Bitcoin for the US strategic Bitcoin Reserve and the Bill will  soon be forwarded to the House for approval. She further discloses that the Senate will soon be focusing on the SBR Bill in a short time.

Looks like The Trump  administration is still working on Enacting a bitcoin Reserve and hasn't given up on the race. Holding 1 million Bitcoin as a strategic asset will  definitely have a huge impact  in the price of bitcoin and would pump more once the remaining 30 states considering a Bitcoin Reserve starts establishing a SBR in the US .

Amazing with the current development of the bill passed by Senator Cynthia Lummis and support made by Trump we could really say that they are not joking around with their support on Bitcoin also they are serious with their intention about creating good bills for Bitcoin.

If they successfully bought 1 million Bitcoin for sure that this will be a huge for Bitcoin and there's provably a good pump will came after that purchase will be made.

If the US government were to reserve 5% of the total supply of Bitcoins as per the proposed law, it would definitely have a major impact on the market. As a result, it would not be difficult for the Bitcoin price to reach 1 million. Especially when the US government starts buying Bitcoins, the tendency of ordinary investors to hold Bitcoins individually will increase significantly, as a result of which we can expect 1 million for bitcoin.

According to the BITCOIN Act proposed by Senator Cynthia Lamis, if the purchased Bitcoins are held for a maximum of 20 years and there is a condition that no Treasury Secretary can sell more than 10% of the reserve in a two-year period, the confidence of ordinary investors in Bitcoin will increase. Which has a major impact on the upward trend of Bitcoin prices.

It is very true that when the US government will start buying Bitcoin the interest of people about Bitcoin will increase even people that have not started Bitcoin investment will start because they know US is a great a nation and can influence the market somehow but that doesn't mean that if the US government start buying Bitcoin that the price of Bitcoin will get to 1 million dollars, as a matter of fact I don't think that is even achievable in 20-30 years to come  because Bitcoin is very volatile and it can fluctuate around a particular price for a year or even more depending. 1 million dollars is really a big journey for Bitcoin and a long way for Bitcoin, is not that I am doubting it potential but I am just been realistic.

What they have done will open lots of doors of opportunity since by announcing that they would add Bitcoin there's high chance that they could get lots of sponsorship deals from Bitcoin or even Crypto companies.

Lol, the PSG having a bitcoin reserve is a huge deal. This is coupled with ALTBG being the first bitcoin treasury company in Europe, a French company as well. Maybe it's a coincidence but France seems to be taking the lead in the institutional adoption of bitcoin within the EU.

Speaking yesterday in Las Vegas, Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform UK party has  pledges to introduce crypto-friendly legislation and establish a bitcoin reserve at the Bank of England if he becomes Prime Minister.

Nigel farage is a well respected figure in the UK, he has drafted out an SBR Bill and has vow to follow up if he's been elected as PM.
I am not surprised with all of this promise's coming from a desperate politician. There words cannot be trusted easily as they will say anything to win the heart of voters in other to get into office. Like it is been said, actions speak louder than words, If Nigel farage wins,he should match his words with action and shouldn't forget his promises he made to the public.

Is Pakistan’s Bitcoin Reserve Proposal a Real Deal?

At a recent Bitcoin conference, Bilal Bin Saqib, CEO of the newly formed Pakistan Crypto Council, expressed Pakistan’s desire to stockpile Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset.

Later, Finance Secretary Imdadullah Bosal clarified before the National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue that cryptocurrencies are not recognized as legal tender, citing guidelines from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

“A legal framework will only be created once the government formally decides,” Bosal said, confirming that existing crypto activities will remain illegal until legislative changes are made.

I think in this age of cryptocurrency, Pakistan should preserve Bitcoin as its strategic reserve asset.

I think the Bitcoin strategic reserve is a one-in-history chance for smaller countries to steer their fate toward a brighter future.
Once, a country could be raided and stripped of its resources. Today, it can shape its future using Bitcoin in a positive way without anyone being able to do anything.

We are at the end of the month so I think it's normal for bitcoin to have minor correction. I also don't see that to be a negative news. That post was about a deal to make a bitcoin reserve.

After the announcement, TMTG's stock fell by 9% but I believe that is a good development in bitcoin adoption. Another huge institution again started to acknowledge bitcoin as their reserve. It shows that US President Trump is really serious in his advocacy of promoting digital assets to the public.

From his comments on bitcoin and the way he wants to go about it, one can easily detect he would never do anything close. As a matter of fact saying he would force the Bank of England to have a bitcoin reserve what a daft statement. on a will you intend to use force anyways not even a British citizen but however politicians are never to be honest or hold up their promises.

Nobody is better but one who has failed simple task, a bigger task shouldn't be handed over to him.
