That's great and all but I wouldn't be around SEA paying with BTC. No disrespect for south asian people but their countries have in my opinion dodgy security. You don't want to be the tourist that stands out a lot, and to boot add in some crypto payments. People are getting kidnapped in the western world, we just saw the Trezor guy in France I think it was, well imagine in SEA were government corruption is probably rampant, so not only you would have the usual thieves and other "entrepreneur actors" but I would also have a hard time trusting due process there. I think in the future when everyone pays with BTC then you will not stand out as much and it will not be a risk factor, for now being a pioneer you have this safety premium of standing out.

Great News, In a state where majority of the people are seeing the necessity of going into Bitcoin investment I believe Bill that will favour those investors will be passed because those majority people involves there law makers too and there family members.
One thing I have discovered in those states that rejected bills that will be in favour of Bitcoin and that of the people using it is that majority of there people are really not involved in Bitcoin investment you may disagree but I want to assure you that if majority of the people are into Bitcoin meaning even the law makers and there family members those bills will be passed.

Until this is address, the state alone can't implement this because state doesn't get to decide about taxes. If this is address, implemented and pass for everyone, the fear of Bitcoin taxes on capital gain wouldn't be discouraging because it's not really cool to be paying 30% after receiving $200 or less from a customer, how much will merchants be making from sales if the government is taking all of this from people, this will go a very long way if the government look into this from the federal level.

As much as I like this, if this want to be faster in adoption then we need to think outside the box about Bitcoin adoption as legal tender and Bitcoin reserve. If this two things are done, tax will become the next thing that is going to be address because there is going to be a full attention about everything in there, more people will call for a realistic amount where tax is going to be paid in full of the 30% of capital gain, $200 for 5% is fair to me if the government want to be helpful.

The Texas Governor Abbott Gregg still has Six days left to sign the SB 21 bill into law.  We should be expecting a positive responses from the Governor about the bill this week. There is still every tendency that the Texas Governor will  sign the SB21 Bill into law due to his passion and support for Bitcoin in his state and he has also assured concern citizens of the state that he is going to sign the SB21 into law. So definitely it's going to happen in a few days Time.

At this point, Governor Greg Abbott has no choice but to sign it, or it automatically becomes a law after the countdown elapses. The worry ended at the Texas House when the House approved the SB 21 bill (the Texas Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Investment Act). Excluding Sundays, the governor has just 10 days to sign it, or it automatically becomes a law. But of course, unless the legislature adjourned, which might extend it to 20 days. Either way, it will be vetoed if not signed, it's a matter of time.

The good news is that this might have a further good effect, as it motivates other states of the US, and this in turn motivates many other states in other countries as well. I can't wait for the pro-crypto states like Florida and Wyoming to join soon.
