Why do I always have to sleep in so late, missed the launch (and the haters apparently). Windows wallet within like 15 minutes of launch, FUCK THE HATERS , NO INSTAMINE FOR YOU.

Good job OP, Quebecoin is holding up great to the pressure. You want to see a bad launch you assholes, go see the H2O coin multiple launch fail shitstorm. QBC did really well all things considered.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Anyone has any idea about why the windows wallet does not sync?

I've added the nodes to the québecoin.conf file and still no luck

Adding the nodes manually from the debug console worked for me, and since then starting with two identical config files (with and without the accent) seems to sync ok.  No idea which of the two config files is being used.  Anyone know of the equivalent of lsof for windows?

I had it working adding the nodes manually, but I'm sure it's not using the conf files because I've tried to start with the -server option and it says I need to set up a rpcuser/pass that is already configured in both files, with and without accent.. so I'm lost

Hmm - if I rename peers.dat it won't sync.  Dev - what's the correct config file path?

my 2 cent on country group coins :

Its like a basic democracy it gets legitimated by the people that use it.
So every country coin that gets used by its intended people is legit even if started as scam ...

So i expect in one to two years the real deal about countrycoins ...

maybe even earlier if fiat money collapses which can happen faster than bankers might want ...
if russia really breaks petrodollar ... ppl gonna notice very fast what a huge scam the dollar currency is ...

so ...

relax convert fiat to coins and gold ... mine and buy a gun ^^ ... im gonna have a tea now

If bitcoinmining riggs could buy miningriggs with bitcoin by themselves wouldnt that be asexual reproduction ? So wouldnt that make BTC a lifeform ?

Same problem here, I got it to sync but have same error when I try -server option Huh

LOL well said, Quebec may not be an officially recognized country but they have a distinct identity & fierce patriotism.
Very technologically advanced. add in the x11, the slow distribution model & i really think this coin has a great future.

As for the collapse of fiat, the powers that be are obviously aiming for exactly that but things never go how one might predict.
Currencies have collapsed before & the earth is still spinning. Time to get creative. Ive got my gun. I even split to the third world 5 years ago.
Crisise (plural of crisis?) precipitate change. & we can all use some change about now, ya ? Just mined my first 0.08 YAY

This corporate empire of three city states controls the world economically through London’s inner city, militarily through the District of Columbia, and spiritually through the Vatican

No - run "getmininginfo" in wallet debug console.  (Help / debug window / console)

Is suchpool getting all the blocks? Other pools are either unlucky or simply cannot get enough hash power to beat suchpool in the race ...

Now I have a dilemma - get hashing where no blocks are found, and get nothing ... or join the behemoth and get no shares, hence getting nothing of found blocks, LOL

Any small pool out there is finding blocks? Just wondering ...
