Wallet doesn't load quebecoin.conf or québecoin.conf in any case I think!

I have wallet properly configured with nodes from the first post.
I tried load wallet with -server option and I get error window.
This makes solo mining impossible for me.
Let someone try to start wallet with -server option and see for yourself.

I did the "addnode 54.86.39.92 add" from the console and just let it sit for a few minutes and it started syncing.

But the dev might consider removing the é from the code and recompiling as I think that could be causing some issues for some.

Exactly.  Remove or rename peers.dat and restart the wallet, and you will have to add the nodes manually from the debug console again.  It isn't reading the config file.  Issue with qt lib and accents/internationalisation?

One day people will learn that all shit block rewards and insta-KGW do is give people with battlecruiser level server farms time to point them at a launch.  Only person this combo DOES stop is small miners who are tired of signing up to their 5924399th pool and would like to solo mine.

I really want a battlecruiser level server farm. Not gonna lie.

WOW! being mining since launch on QBC.POOL.MN they have a modest Hashrate but I just found the second block with a miner of only 7Mh/s. I happy with it.

What a fiasco of a launch... BUT I do think its still a good coin.

Anyone know when such pool will be back online? I pointed there and went fuckingly happy to my family easter lunch (europe here) thinking I'd done my first instamine launch... pffff what a fail... I just hope suchpool still has my instacoins...

I admit that it was a fiasco for the first 15 minutes until the windows wallet was available. I've had the Windows wallet for two weeks now and I changed some of the block rewards last minute and screwed up by recompiling QT. That's why I didn't have it right away. Luckily some people have faster PCs than I do. Thanks for the BUT.

Apart from that the code itself is working flawlessly, pure DarkGravityWave, no crossover between difficulty adjustment algorithms to be had. Everything seems tremendously solid and people are mining like there's no tomorrow. I really wonder where that all came from. Still hashing at 3.8 GH/s right now.

The first Block Explorer gets a great QBC bounty by the way.

Quite impressed by how stable all of this is going to be honest, you have a crazy amount of hashpower! Took me a while to find an available X11 rig to rent lol.

Sorry I have to rectify, It seems that at launch I was mining at other (now offline) pool as a failover. Just have to wait to the other pool to be online again to see if I have QBCs there. Anyone knows if POOL.MN have a delay in launch? thanks.

P.S. Still happy with the second found block on QBC.POOL.COM.

Thank you, it's great to hear it. The anger runs easily on bitcointalk.

The coin itself is amazingly stable and responsive, very happy about it, especially with other coins have 2 or 3 failed launches. I think the quality of the product shows itself. Plus the QT client buttons are nice and blue!

It feels alive now, I'm really glad the mining launch started. I have no idea where all that power is coming from though to be honest, maybe people realised this could be huge when they saw mentions on TV and in the papers popping up.

I'm adding a 100 QBC bounty for compiling the Québecoin-QT client for Mac. I had to give back the machine before compiling unfortunately and it was an old macbook pro which wouldn't do anything I told it to.

Yes I agree, bat the sync issue (addnodes manualy) isn't the only problem.
This is ridiculous and somehow sad when new coin starts in this way.
