It seems like I underestimated Galatasaray a lot this time.    But Liverpool were also too bad last night. Of course they faced a strong defending but they made simple errors at the same time.

This match will truly be an easy one for Real Madrid, especially since Real Madrid will be the home team. Favoring Real Madrid is clearly the most realistic choice in this match. While unexpected results are possible, I think the chances are quite small. However, I personally will also favor several other matches today. For example, in the Chelsea vs. Benfica match, I will favor Chelsea. Then, I will also favor Liverpool in the Galatasaray vs. Liverpool match. For another match, perhaps the Inter Milan vs. Slavia Prague match, I will hope both teams score.

The Real Madrid match seems easy to predict, but unexpected events in football can happen at any time, and it also depends a lot on the players' physical and mental condition. Even the bookmakers, based on their odds, seem to be predicting a Real Madrid victory; we'll see.

This is a common thing that happens, so it's no surprise. Every team has extremely fanatical supporters, better known as ultras. They'll be quick to criticize the coach and management when they lose in a row. It may seem selfish, but ultras often act like that. However, ultras are incredibly loyal supporters of their teams. So, this could be interpreted as criticism of the coach.

It's not like Liverpool didn't try to fight back after they conceded but it was obvious that Galatasaray came all out for them I'm sure that they didn't anticipate that the game had ended for them since the first half, probably they kept thinking it would turn in their favor.
 It's normal for fans to start calling for the sack of a coach when they feel he's not delivering like he should but the thing is it's quite early to start chanting "sack, sack!". That means what they expect is 100% perfection always? It's laughable honestly.

Just because Arne Slot hasn't been able to record success in his last two games; Crystal Palace and now Galatasaray, there's been calls for his sack. Although it's not serious yet, but I feel that these  claims could become serious if their next game in the EPL against Chelsea doesn't end in his favor.
 As it stands, the fear factor other clubs used to have over Liverpool is now diminished, as teams no longer fear them as they should.
If I'm not mistaken, the form of Liverpool dropped since the beginning of this new campaign but Crystal Palace were the ones to open up their errors and yesterday's loss to Galatasaray further showed that the decisions of Arne Slot was flawed.

I have watched almost all their matches this season and I really don't see anything special about the team, despite the fact that most people already predicted them to win the league. I have to admit, some time ago many people said Liverpool victory was just luck, and today, Liverpool luck has run out. All of this makes sense, Arne Slot is experiencing player transition problems. Frimpong touted as Mo Salah replacement, has been underwhelming, Wirtz, bought at a high price, has been performing below par, and Ekitike, who isn't even fit to be a striker. The blunt finishing, slow pace of the game, and many other factors stem from this defeat. Despite the 1-0 score, it highlights Liverpool declining form, and their transfer spending seems to have been in vain.

Frimpong and Trend Alexander Arnold play the same position. Mo Salah and Frimpong don't.

I never thought that a strong team like Liverpool would perform so poorly against a team like Galatasaray, Liverpool really disappointed everyone in this match, at least no one ever thought that Liverpool would lose the match to Galatasaray 0-1, they had only 4 shots on target in the whole match, and they couldn't score any goals, it was very disappointing, Galatasaray scored the first goal in the 16th minute, but despite the goal being in the first half, Liverpool couldn't get back to parity in any way, it was a very unexpected and weak match for Liverpool, they should now prepare themselves better for the next match.

Yes, Liverpool had enough time to equalize, but Galatasaray after scoring, focused on stopping Liverpool's attacks. Frankly, it was a boring match, perhaps because Liverpool couldn't get anything going in attack, or perhaps because Galatasaray only wanted to maintain the lead and didn't try to score more, or if they did they did so clumsily. I was surprised that Sane sat on the bench the entire match, I think a player like him should be a starter, but it's clear that Galatasaray was focused on defense the entire match, so they didn't need to strengthen their attack.

I, on the other hand, even if it wasn't a match with many goals, I was able to really appreciate the tactics used by Galatasaray. For you it was boring, but for me it wasn't. I had fun even with few goals and honestly, a match doesn't necessarily have to be full of goals to be entertaining. Clearly, if it had been a match with more goals it would have been better, but it went well even like this.

Liverpool situation is now very unstable after two losses in a short period of time. Arne Slot may have to rethink the team and try to activate the players more. After a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace in the domestic league, their excellent performance was dampened by a 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray. With such poor performance from the players, a defeat to a smaller team will be a bit of a mental blow for them. Despite having several scoring opportunities in the match, Liverpool forwards repeatedly failed and could not take advantage of the match due to poor finishing. I couldn't believe that Liverpool would lose against Galatasaray. It looks like Liverpool is going through a mini-crisis and Arne Slot is losing control. Wirtz was bought for an absurd amount of money and he seems like a disappointment. Isaak might be overrated as well.

Liverpool's defeat was definitely the most unexpected result yesterday, and I was even more surprised that they failed to score a single goal, especially since Galatasaray's defense has never been considered reliable. I have been following football matches since 2006 and i have also come to believe that nothing is impossible in this game, and also that a club is at the top of their League doesn't guarantee that they will win all matches, Liverpool this season i don't see them as other people do if you notice well you will know that Liverpool winning always comes at the end of the added time that's majority of their their winning this season they have now lost 2 matches in a row and if chelsea should perform well this weekend in the premier league they can get 3 points against Liverpool.

Yes, the victory may not be too impressive for Real Madrid because the opponent is not an elite club, but still, this victory is very important for Real Madrid in collecting as many points as possible in the Champions League competition so they can qualify for the round of 16 without going through the knockout stage, but yes, Real Madrid's test is in the 3rd match against Juventus. I honestly never gave Galatasaray a chance against Liverpool, I thought that Liverpool will be all over them even though I know that Istanbul is a difficult place to play as an away team. Lest the trend of Liverpool's victory that has been broken in the domestic league continues and is likely to continue after suffering a defeat of Galatasaray. Hopefully I was wrong after seeing the results in the second match of the Champions League.
